The reason you can't moor at Domunuca is because it's a contraband island. when you go into island view at Dominica you see some ships, all you can do their is trade with them. Be carefull tradind contraband isn't leagel so be carefull no one finds out!

After reaching Level 8, obtain the second half of the map, sail into the horseshoe bay, exit to sea, and moor. On shore go to the cave. Can't moor though, when there are smugglers moored there.
Q:Hi. Can you help me out!? I'm sailing for Spain but everytime I get a mission to deliver a cargo ot something else, I can't find the island. Is there some map with all the islands? How do you find the exact island? Do you just sail in a random direction or what?

Ok man,what you see on the map is the name of the island.Most colonies located on this island have the same name.But if there is more then 1 on the island,they a different name.But there are some exceptions.I dont remeber the name of that english island,but its at the bottom of the map.So the name of the colony is Bridgetown,but the island has a different name

Q:I can't capture a town. i've tried to destroy the forts, but they are simply too strong. how to destroy the fort? (bearing in mind every time they shoot me, my ship goes down!)
A1:
I captured a Man O War ship. This ship has 100 cannons and can take down the fort. You should make sure that you have an unassigned officer available, otherwise you will not be able to take over the colony.
A2:
Easy way is to sail from sea mode from a distance, having upgraded your ship with iron 24 pound culverins. Strike sail just when you can fire cannons at fort, then turn broadside and keep pounding away. Must use cannonballs for long range and have at least 3000 of them, the fort can't hit you that far. I've taken out Level 4 forts that way. Used a Warship with 66 guns.
Q:What does the criptic map mean? "look down from the northern saint and one up from it's beautiful namesake"?

The northern Saint is St. Martin and his beautiful namesake is Martinique the female version of Martin so one up from martinique is???? now go to that island in the cresant of it and moor.

You have to battle a lot of ships so that you can have one of those...

Get one of the nations angry at you (Spain is handy). They will begin to send flotillas after you if your reputation is bad enough. Just be prepared to be sunk when they send three man'o'wars at you.

I've got one frigates.... without cheatin.... but swappin....den in the same battle... I boarded another ship, the battleship,but I didnt swap it.... cuz I lyk frigates.... now I'm lvl 5 onli.... and I've met lotz of ships better than a frigate... the tip is tat, wen you c sum1 battlin n 1 of them is your ally( nation), just help ( but check your ship health n crew 1st)
Q:OK - I have been playing the game for a few weeks, I finally met up with the long lost brother, met him on Isla Mona, and have now taken over EVERY colony. What Am I supposed to do not?? Is there a point? I go into the governor mansion (mine) on Isla Mona, and there is a "this exit is locked" message when I stand on the rug, but I CANNOT figure out if I am supposed to do something else, or just keep protecting the colonies for an eternity....................... anyone know what the next step is?

I think there is nothing to do. One thing I have noticed, when I captured the all colonies, I was on Santiago Vega and I found some hidden heavier ships nearabout colony. These ship belong from any colony but they show they wasn't enemy ship, finally I attacked on ships and captured. After the selling ship I will reach again the same point and I was found same thing.
