Myst 3: Exile PC Q&A

Q:

I am in the Voltaic Age in the lava room. I am trying to turn on the fan. I am at the pedestal with the red knob and am supposed to turn it clockwise then through the center to the left and then counter clockwise and then turn on fan. I can not get it to turn clockwise, is there a trick to it? I have tried it many ways but I only get a tiny little red dot to show up where I believe the switch for the fan should be but nothing happens. Is the switch somewhere else?

In myst 2 ended game by clicking on top of screen, m 4 I can not end game on my screen, how do you exit? Griff.
