Ride it, all the time! As soon as you can saddle it and ride it where ever you need to go.

Go to sleep and in the morning the horse will be back in its stall.
You can go treat a animal staying in the practice and it will go back to it's stall.
It is a glitch.By the next day your horse will be in his stall.If you want him out of the wall.Click on him and select "move to box".That should do it if your horses body is in the stable.

I think there is a rake in the bird cage.

On the left of the door there is a dish and if you put your mouse over it there is green writing that says feed dish and you click on it and on the side the word USE will come up and that cleans the cage.

Did you already build the stable, get educated for horses and buy a horse? if not it will work afterwards

The jump the fence thing is completely NOT true, I don't know where that rumor started but it is impossible! You can't jump the fence because you have to be in a canter or gallop to jump, and you can't canter or gallop unless you are already in the fields! There is a field in the southwestern corner ot the main area that should already be unlocked if you have expanded all the buildings, have all your schooling done, and own a horse. You simply ride your horse into the field.

You have to download a patch. I haven't downloaded on this one yet, but it works on my other computer. But according to some people, if you do the tasks that the game tells you to, at one point it unlocks the meadow, forest and beach. But I've never gotten that far. PS: to gallop you need to get to the meadow, forest or beach

I haven't downloaded the patch, but I can get into all the fields. You CANNOT jump the fence to get into the field! Try making sure you have expanded all buildings, got all your schooling done, and own a horse. Ride your horse to the southwest corner of the main area. The field should be unlocked.

You can't gallop in the practice, only in meadow, forest or beach. Don't listen to everyone else I don't know how they manage to gallop and jump over the fence when YOU CAN'T GALLOP IN THE PRACTICE! Anyway, to get to meadow, forest or beach you have to download them. Just go no google, enter something like "Patch Pet Vet" and ValuSoft usually has one. Hope this helps!
You have to press the up button until you get from walk -> trot-> canter-> gallop :)
The horse will NOT gallop in the main area. Your game is the older version, before the patch, so you must download it. It was the same way with mine. I got the patch, and now I can ride there. However, my stable brooms don't work anymore. Either way, here's the website to get the patch: valusoftsupport.com
When you go out the front door of your clinic/practice, there's a brown path. Follow it, then at one point it forks three ways. On one of those three ways there are two signs, follow that path. It will say "Follow this path to get to town" and then just keep following that path straight (at one point it forks, just keep going straight) and then you get to town! Hope this helps!
You have to follow the path that leads from the front of the building and up. If you follow where the patients come in and out that is where you go
Okay, start at the front door of your practice. Then, press the "down" button on your keyboard. You'll eventually come to a fence. Follow it down to the opening, and there you go.

Well, quite easy. Click on the building and then near the bottom left hand corner of the screen, you will see the sign build or if you're going to make it bigger or expand the animal house it will say upgrade. Make sure you have enough money to build it though!

You download patch at www.valusoft.com, you cannot change your horses, height,age,name,color or sex. you can't upgrade the stable more than twice either. and when you download the patch from vaalusoft, your saved game WILL BE DELETED.

Click documents. then Program files. than THQ. then Pet vet. then Save. then select your saved file. once it is opened. click edit, than click find words. type in your horses current name and you should find the coding for your own horse. replace its current name with your desired name. then do the same with its age and gender. you can also give it parents by doing this. and no, you cannot change its color or height. to do that you need to sell it and buy another horse. you can you this same process to get unlimited money, max out your horse's stats or to own more than one horse. i'll put a tutorial for the money hack and you just need to convert it to your horse. good luck! sorry for longness.

Yeah its true. You can't jump over the fence like some people say. you have to download the patch at valusoft.com I think. The patch is free. It deletes your games though so you have to start from the beginning. You also have to finish tasks to open the gate thing after you download the patch

You must stroke them, clean their stalls twice a day with the broom, you only have to feed them once a day, but water should be given two to three times a day, after they've been treated, fed and watered, you put them in the paddock the rest of the day, (they will automatically return to stalls next day) make sure you let them finish eating before you stroke them, treat them, or take them to the paddock.

There is no cheat box. I don't think those cheats really work. Somebody probably made them up but if you open the game with notepade(as shown somewhere above) you can put as much money and stuff as you want(thats how my horse is totally experienced) just find stuff you want to change!

U went 2 your documents and cliked thq hit save and then went down to where it said files of type and use the down arow and go 2 all files and clik on the 1 ssaved game you want and vwala

From notepad, open, file, location is THQ, Pet Vet, Save (all folder names) then change file type to all files, click on your saved game file and hit enter. The code for the program comes up. Make the changes as noted in the instructions (note: I didn't get the buildings and upgrades with the instructions, but everything else- I just added money to cover building them). Then hit file: save (NOT save as!) and close notepad. Then open up your game to play, and hit resume play, choose the saved game that you had modified, and you will see all you changed.
Yea I tried it to and now I cant even get into my game. see no on e knows how to get more money they just act like they do so that you can try it and waste time.

It really DOES work. please believe me. I don't like to scam people. and you should also save the file under a different name so if you mess up, you won't lose it. I used it to change my horses stats and name.

I f you mean feeding cats then you have to have built a cathouse 9thats one of the floting buildings. then you go home and there is a shelf with cans of food and birdseed two of the say empty and one says 25 poiportions click onit and walk close tere sold be a sing on your right it says take porportion hit take porportion. a cat with a bowl should apear on the botom of your screen. then walk to the cathouse and click on the bowl you wish to put your food in. then click on you bubble with the cat in it. the bubble will disaper but thre sould be food in the bowl.
