I am playing in hero mode on the Alexander Conquest. I get as far as the enemy boat ramming me and throwing me in the water and I can't swim. I took the tutrial on how to swim an d can't figure out why I can't swim in my actual games. Can anyone help me>?

When I start my rise and fall civilizations at war game I get to the menu but when I try and play I get booted to the desktop. no error is shown but I cant play. How can I fix this?
