RollerCoaster Tycoon 2

It's impossible on rollorcoaster tycoon 2 but if you look on the top right corner on one of the steps while you're building your own park there's a choice that says no money and then you get everything free.

Only way to adjust the $$ is to build your own park. Takes a long time to build so set aside many hours to do that. Click on the red tool box to find the link to build your park (size, terrain, foliage, paths, water, grass/rock/sand, height, etc.) This is the only way to control the finances other than a few cheats but those aren't for the whole park -- just for a few guests and/or rides. The cheat about matching price of the ride to the excitement rating on a coaster ride may help you a lot.

You first click on the toolbox then select scenario editor then it will bring you to a selection screen you then select the rides,scenery,paths,Park entrance,water color,ect . then you make the map (select land owned,select land for sale,select land you have construction rights,select land you can buy construction rights,make mountains {you can use the transforming tool to do this much faster},paint land [to do this quickly you change park scale to the smallest then set shovel tool size to max select land type you wanna make then use it on the map NOTE:do this first],Add Water, ect.) then you pick what things you want to have at the start of the game and what you want to have to invent later in the game. then you select options (how much money you start with, max loan, starting loan, if any money at all {Note: no money=no closing the park},guest money,guest starting stats(hunger,thirst ,and happiness),Ect. then you select your objective (example:Have 1,000 Guests in the park by October Year 4),Park name, scenario name(Name that will be displayed in the new game menu),Ect. then lastly you save your park and can start playing anytime. Choose a random person that is just about to come into the park and call him John Mace. He will pay double. I hope that helps.

Ok, I can't really answer the first question, but with the monorail, all you do is make like a regular roller coaster but you can add stops so people can get off in diffrent parts of the park and/or you can make it like a tour and just build the monorail all around the park and let guests ride it. Monorails need to be a continuous loop and are elevated. Stations can be elevated or not. Chair lift is a loop within itself so doesn't have to have stations between the beginning and the end. Think monorails have a limit of 4 stations. I find it cheaper to use shorter rails or lifts and put the ends close to each other so people can leave the monorail and continue their trip on a chair lift, that way I can cover the whole park toward the end of the game but save money since I don't have to demolish anything and I also don't have to build an unused length of rail early in the game. Guests seem to enjoy all the monorails, chair lifts and trains. I put rides at each station and then when I have more money, link those rides with rides at other stations and eventually all areas are linked by paths. Guests then quit complaining about the park being too crowded. Hope this helps. Haven't found a cheat yet for unlimited money.
Add an entrance fee of something like 5$ or something, just so people will still come, but they arent getting in for free. Also you can do the same with stals and maybe a rollercoaster or two. -Answer by:crymetyme88
For a good ride make the money $4 or so. And a ride that nobody likes remove a part and put the same part there so you can trick them into going on it. -Answer by:MissleMan123
If you want some cash, make a place in the park, put guests in there,put two no entrey on the path so nobody can get in or out and put a few stalls, a ride or two, a health booth and a toilet and you will get some extra cash. -Answer by:Carrie Shermen
Rename one guest as John D Rockefeller and another guest as Andrew Gillette. These two will increase money and increase guest happiness. Doesn't work fast but does work. Be sure to click the 'i' on their window so you can keep track of them since they will leave the park eventually. Then I just rename other guests to take their place. Also, there is a cheat about matching the price of a coaster ride to match its excitement rating, i.e., excitement rating is 7.6 so make the price of the ride $7.60 and the money will flow to you. Guests don't seem to mind the high price.

On Some Parks Its free entry to the park and pay for rides on the other mode which is pay to enter and free rides. you cannot set prices on rides if the mode is free rides/pay to enter
