Im pretty sure thats a load of crap. Of course you follow directions. If you create a dedicated server without it the s=game will crash. If you create a non-dedicated server it will not show up on the lists.

If your talking about a mine just crouch and get it yourself if its not cant help you there except for saying just revive your squad.
Get into crouch (c) and walk up to it in c keep holding it while pressing f at the same time to disarm the mine.
You can also use a cheat theres a cheat section I posted it has a skip level cheat so check it out!

I've heard rumors about it but I not sure...
I highly doubt it because the game was released in 2005. I know it was a dissapointing ending losing Sev AKA #7. I think they would have made a #2 game by now. Sorry =( .
