A1: They're never free, or you buy them from the catalogue, or you make them (which also costs money) but yes you can take stuff out of your shop and take them home

A1: Nope, only in a community lot business. The industrial stove was created for restaurants and generally one doesn't have a restaurant as a home business.

A2: Well...you get an industrial stove from appliances...ovens... but sadly, no, you can't have one in a home business...which I don't see why...I started a home business and spent over $2000...until I couldn't buy the stove...sorry...

A1: Well you can KINDA LIVE ON COMMUNITY LOT. if you own the lot, you can do buy mode and make it a house...or business and add a house to like the back of it like in Luke's diner on Gilmore Girls weeknights at 4. if your sim and other visitors become too unhappy and you get frustrated, just (in the cheat bar) type maxMotives. this will make active sim and all visitors happy.

A2: The prevoius answer is correct. but you can go into buy mode and go into electronics and buy and put infront of every room an electronic item that will charge your customers go go into the room. also be sure to put elevators in as will as stairs, it gives your customers more options. -Answer by:cputzke72

Q: Can you start a car shop on open for business?

A1: No to have cars you have to have Sims 2 Nightlife:D

A2: Yes you can if you hae nightlife and you put the cars on a sales platform (its a big round thing) and set thm so they can be sold.

A3: You can if you download a car from the sims 2 website, whether you have nightlife or not. worked for me and I don't have nightlife

A4: I only have open for business, just google downloads and people will have cars, sims 2 website has I think 2 cars...I have a ford focus (comes in red, blue, and black) and a mustang gt (comes in red) and both work GREAT w/o nightlife!

Q: How do you unlock cars in the game?

A1: Buy nightlife ;)

A2: If you go to www.thesims2.com then they have only 1 cars that you can download into your game its a mustange and adults and teenagers can drive it

A3: The above is true, but now there is six cars on the site which are all Fords (ford focus, ford fusion, ford edge, ford escape, ford gt mustang, and a car that ive never heard of, but it's like a hotrod pickup truck.

Q: How come when you are making a car dealership the car platform is available but the car icon isnt>?

A1: Set up the car displays from the surfaces panel in shopping, then go to live mode. In the Business panel click the bottom icon with the pricetag and then click the 'Wholesale Mode' toggle (the padlock). The cars icon will now be enabled and you can place cars on the displays.

A1: No you don't need a big stove. you have to have a sim who has enough cooking skill to make the cakes and desserts that you want to sell and then put those in your sim's inventory. then buy a refridgerator shelf (it's located with all the other shelves..it's the last one) and then place the desserts from your inventory onto the shelves. price them at your store and then people should be able to buy them

A2: Well...buying the big chef stove will let you sell more than cakes, and you can place charis and tables, go to miscellanious, miscellanious, buy one of the two podiums, assign a hostess or be a hostess. from there you can price and choose menu. you can be a chef, server, hostess, or tidy up. if you enter ctrl.+shift+c, then type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, you can click on the sim's skills and career thing to the right during play mode, and drag their skills as high as you want, BUT I do NOT know if you still get all the recipes like to make at their home, but I had earned 9 cooking skill points and then found this cheat and dragged it one more. and, of course, all the others. hope this helps.

A1: First you need a comunity lot buisness, then you need to click on furniture, then tables, then miscellaneous (not sure if that is spelt right) then look for a round platform.

A1: Its casue you dont have nightlife you need nightlife ok

A2: Same as above go onto the sims 2 website and download a car. it will install itself when you click on it.

A3: There's a million others of the smae question, so maybe before asking we should all r-e-a-d first, but you don't need nightlife to have a car of its driveway. Just go to sims2.com and download it! easy-peasy

Q: How do I erase walls?

A1: Press ctrl button on hte key bored click and drag exactly how you made them but make sure before releseing the button relese your finger from the mouse

A2: Go into build mode and select walls the hold ctrl key while dragging your cursor across the wall you want to delete it is the same if you are putting up walls but holding the ctrl kel you will notice the buulldozer to delete walls instead of the walls symbolt put up new walls.
