Not really but it helps if you have a couple of Enemy-Skill Materias as the "Trine" move is very effective against it. Also Odine is a good one around 1500 HP if you've took a little time to level up.

Ruby in the desert, emerald flying around, underwater near junon underwater, and Dimond is the weapon you fight outside midgar try and steal or mug it, its got a good weapon for Yuffi, when the cannon hits it, its killed.

Just be in the buggy on the map, drive into the Harbor as if you were walking into it, ride the ship going to the second contenint, and BAM your back on the other side with your buggy.
Your both right, if you send Yuffie "right, then down" she will find one for you, but you cant find it i've tried a lot of times. and yes if you finish the special battles in the battle arena you will get it ontop of anything else you win. Yes, you can still get the sub. go to junon in the third disk. go down to where the underwater reactor is. on your way, there should be a dog on the left guarding a door. kill the dog, and any other "threats" and the sub is yours.

You have to press the O button at the exact moment you land on the rock with the materia on it and before you begin the jump to the next rock. It has to be timed perfectly or you'll just jump passed it again. Luckily you can keep trying over and over until you get it. It took me almost a full minute to finally get it.

You need to go through door VI in the clock room, get the key off the guard and go through the door he locked. then you will be in a room where you see the turks then sephiroth appears. After a long conversation, A boss (Red Dragon) will appear defeat it and investigate the small pyramid containing the black materia. go back to the locked door you couldnt go through. Demons Gate (a boss) will be there kill him and cait sith will be there as he said he would. He will solve the puzzle This is near the end of the quest and near the end if disc 2.

If you master an entire set of materia i.e. command, magic or summon, which takes a very long time, then you can get a master materia for that type. you could also try your luck with emerald weapon and then you get all three types for defeating it and giving the earth harp to a man in the western most building in kalm, upstairs.
If you do have a Max HP of 7777 then your characters do start taking off 7777 but you keep control of them as normal and they only attack as normal but if you have a limit like Highwind, Omnislash or similar then all them attacks will take off 7777
