While in Mandarin's Valley of Silence, blue orbs sometimes pop out when you destroy vases/cabinets. NOT the blue energy orbs, but blue orbs that look a lot like the body/strike/focus/etc upgrades. I can't interact with them at all, but it seems weird that they wouldn't have a purpose.

I am at the part in Murderland, after you defeat Jean Gray. There is a gate that looks like it only opens if you use the hammer you picked up to smash the "strength test" game by the gate. However, no matter how close I get to the target, the hammer never makes contact. It looks like I am always missing it by centimeters, and you can't exactly "refine" your aim because by just barely moving the joystick, your charactor does either a 90 degree turn, or takes 2 steps in the direction you moved the stick. Is it really supposed to be that difficult? I've been hammering at that thing for nearly 30 mins now, and I've gotten no where. Any hints?
