Use your mist technique and jump alot, mind the time you have of the mist and just keep using it. Its very tedious and one wrong move sends you back, so dont mess up. (if you do and you're a mad gamer like me, you'll get very angry very quicky)

You can also try to run a little before you hit the start button, getting your speed up to max. That's what helped me.
Q:How can I break the big stones/crystals? The ones that kinda shine.
A1:
If I'm correct, I think you need the 'headbutt' technique, learned from the sensei guy in Kamui (The ice continent), I think it's called. It apparantly 'Evolves'. I think you need to practice it on other things, the other stones. The regular-looking ones, then the ones you need the powered-up slash to do, etc.
That is, if you're talking about the stones that look like they're covered in quartz crystal.
(Mind you, I'm not entirely sure myself, I'm still trying to do it, myself.)

U need to get the 'blinding snow' fishing rod from the shop guy. once you buy it, take it to the monk guy where the bridge is. when you give it to him, talk to him again and you have to help with fishing. then you'll get the 'living sword'. -Answer by:OkamiExpert

Go to the no named man and he will give you his latest vases. pick up the vase and take it to the statues.

You have to set the cannon off at the right time to hit the wall with the dragons on it. (Or the poster thing...) It's right across from the cannon. To set the cannon, just use the fire technique to light the fuse on the top

There is the earth-bound man here and there are 8 holes in the door ... But what do I do with them?

You have to find Fuse, the priestess in a shrine located before that door. she ask you to find 8 kusa warrior. and then you just follow what she will say

First you have to drain the water under the elevaror then you use power slash then when the imp grabs the crank again you use power slash again and keep on doing that until you are at the bottem then you will soon come across a room that has 4 eye ball things all you have to do is line them up then give them a power slash then soon you will be ambushed by a monster that looks like lips ona a wheel the way to defeat it is atack it whenever the snow flakes disapear around the wheel then you will get the fire technique :-)
Q:In sai an City where is the gear for the old guy up in the tower?

You have to beat Ida (the running messenger guy in Shinshu Field) in a race. You have to race 3 times I believe and the 3rd time he gives you the gear. [if not 3 times try 4]

You have to use the mist technique that looks like the = sign and bust in between the two guards there.
Q:At the northern ryoshima coast where do you find the whirlpool? Is there a trick to it? >_

Well first you must get the catwalk power. remember the stairway that crumbled from age? well next to it there's a cat statue. use the catwalk power to climb the wall. at the top you will meet a new enemy. you need to take him out without using the wind power. after that talk to that guy who's nearby. draw a moon in the sky, then draw a star. a galaxy will appear and all you have to do is use the wind power on it. -Answer by:OkamiExpert

Well you could do some of the sidequests like helpin the local town people cause you can get some good praise off some of that stuff

if you ride to all those little islands there are more of those special underground areas where you can get lots of praise. Although you'll need the Power Slash 2 or Digging Champ technique to break through the hard ground and rocks. Also you'll upgrade a brush technique if you give enough money to the springs down there.
A4:
Another way is to show off your god skills to the 2 travaling sisters. In Seian City, you need to get the rain power first, but they'll give you 50 praise if you do it right. (To get the rain power, go behind himiko's palace after you beat Ninetails and water the stones.)
Q:Where is that room with the phoenix covered in ice?

He Phoenix room is beneath the crank opertated thing that floats in the middle of the room in Moon Cave. Continually hit the imp in charge of the crank and the lift will drop until you see the hidden door.
Just be careful not to in the purple poison!
Q:After I deafeted Orochi and the Kamiki festival I went over to Tamas house and there he said that he didn't feel like he used to. Then Issun says give him a really big cherry bomb. I have been cherry bombing Tama forever now and I don't know what to do next. I don't know how to make it a bigger explosion does anyone know?

In Ryoshima Coast(west) & Kamui(north)there are places w/ divine springs.Get the bomb techs from them & go make double & triple explosions!That should work.
Q:How do you get the secret rain technique? do you have to do it right after you beat ninetails?
A1:
Yes after returning from oni island you will see four rocks round the back of Himiko's palace. use watersprout to wash the stones and you will learn deluge

No. After you beat Nine-TailsI think you go to Queen Himiko's temple, and use water to connect two pillars together.
