Okay, In the Nintendo DS version, I am at the second level of Davy Jones area. I cant figure out how to cross the bridge, or what to do with the silver barrel! Please help!?

I am in calypso's swamp and there are these wierd poles with a blue ball in them that is "supposed" to make the bridge go down with the right code. How do you do it?
