A1:

You have to wait til they come right above you then at least try to shoot them down then the next you have to take other ones down too but they are marked on the map wen they start coming at you

A2:

The key is to look at your radar. make sure the arrow is pointing directly on the gold dot. then just listen and wait. you should see at least on plane come in front of you. some come from the side which can throw you off balance.

Just shoot where the enemy planes are going and shoot the plane indicated by a star closest to you, don't shoot your allies planes down. And shoot any other bonus plane taht's not attacking

I just started playing myself. Once you mount the ground-to-air guns you'll need to pay attention to your compass. It'll let you know from which direction the war plane is coming from. -Turn to get lined up with it, start blastin' away, adjust to it as it flys in closer to you.

Move the crosshair over a plane and follow though and when you deiced to fire.....well fire

There is not much of a trick but try to shoot the planes when they are far away
