Q: At daytona in the begining when it says press x to accelerate and I press it but everyone else is going so much faster than I am when the race starts how I d go as fast as the other cars?

A1: You have to draft untill you bump draft a driver and then come around them and then turn the draft off you will gain alot of speed.

A1: They are things you buy with skill points you win from racing or achievements that give you bonuses. There are two hard-to gets, called platinums, that unlock really good things. One costs 50,000 SP and another around 25,000 SP. Easy to get if you save up and race good. Training for the game is recommended as Nascar thunder 2003, as it's hardcore races are a little bit harder that 07. Do good in 03, you can do awesome in 07. I suggest with easy dodge challenges and helping a lot of teammates in race modes.

Q: How to get teammates?

A1: You can only get teamates by joining other teams. when you make a car on story mode you will have teammates no matter what. on race now you will have absolutely no teammates in the race. that is all I know in this answer but I am very sure on the answer I gave you.
