When you are goalie, if you hit the R1 or L1 button, you will slide to protect that side of the net. It is more of a guessing thing than saving a easy goal.
I got one for you when you are skating infront of the net press x and when your guys half turned do a slap shot on the side your sticks on.

What button do you press to punch the guy boss?
Press down on the D pad when the name pops up at the bottom of the screen. It will accept and he will fight you. The only reason it wont accept is if you have fought 3 times already or if the team does not have a fighter.
To fight mostly I find the strongest player on the team and when I am one on one with the other team player I press down

I would trade Jagr only because as a player gets older, their skills are going to deminish and seein that whitaker is younger and is cheaper, he'll probably give you the most for the money! take Stratton!!
Id trade jagr for crosby or ovecken. they ask for less. they arent as good tho
On the first year you play sign whitaker for as low as you can for as long as you can so you can wait to sign him
Stratton Whitiker is defintly worth it because he is a 99 when he turns 18 and jagr is gettin old and you could trade him and a 2nd rnd. pick for crosby or ovectcon
Always draft young and good over old and good, if ur planing on forming a dynasty to winn like 9 straight take the youngest guys you can and of course the ones with high overall and high potential, next thing you youll be chasing the cup for the next ten years in ur dynasty
Yes trade jagr for either crosby, ovechkin or chechoo and they will be younger with high overall. Do not sign Whitiker a second time because he dosent work hard he get tired easily and he to high priced. Just trade Jaagr for a younger player.

Well I say trade jagr for pitkanen, hes not the youngest but hes incredibly cheap for his overall
This is kind of unrelated but if you want a good goalie ie marty turco go to free agents and get a mid 70-low 80 goalie and a player that is a bit higher and trade them for turco

I have NHL 07 for my PSP and am currently playing in Dynasty Mode. I cannot figure out how to trade goalies. When I select the trades feature I can only trade skaters. Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks.

Hold Select then hit L1. Scroll through the rookies until you find the goalies. That also helps when you are looking for a specific position.

U mean 5 hole? the game jus randomly chooses where to shoot unless you put it on manual aim, then you use the left analog
U have to go straight towards the golaie and hold the anlog stick up while doing a slapshot to do a 5 Hole
You use your left analog stick to aim while your stick is still in the air. there will be a target in the net to show you where your aiming

I cant FIGURE THAT out either !!! anyways just trade one of you top salary players like say a created guy I know it sucks but if you want to keep playing you have to trade them. trade that person with a low salary guy that isn't that great. Then when your salary rises up more and you have a little to play with draft him back (y) it works trust me

Yo listen here I also have many amazing players on my team my whole team is all 90 and above overall all you have to do is is dynasty mode when u get upgrades upgrade legal all the way then the players like jagr crosby etc... they will sign for about 2 million u figure out whose worth more YOUR WELCOME!!!

Go on dynisty, check out some bad players, get players that suck ad have a long term non-paying salery, once you do that go to minor leauge manegment and drop them to free agent. go to edit player and make them good. it will say their slaery will go up but it won't. put that player on a created team
To change the songs, all you have to do is when you get to the main menu, go to rules and options, then ea sports trax jukebox.

You can only hit triangle or hold l and triangle at the same time and you will spin. (there is no skill stik)
Triangle to deek and X to do a spin deek

How long does it take to get a star to upgrade a category in Dynasty Mode in nhl 07 for ps2
To get an upgrade star u just have to keep winning and as u win ur expectation meter fills every time u get it to a new level u will get to stars
You need to make money. if your team has low attendence or to many high paid players it will take longer
U get stars each season when a new season starts you get new stars and you can upgrade
If you skip through the whole season you should get over 15 stars if your team is good
You need to play well. If your coach thinks that you're going to lose, but you win, you'll get a good amount of upgrade points. Pick a bad team in dynastt made with an easy difficulty level and win, win, win.
Omg you people dont know what youre talkin about ... if your expectation bar thing is high then you get upgrade stars
I have done all of those and I still haven't gotten an upgrade star, my owner is mad 'cause I'm toronto and my medical isn't good
Well if your toronto your screwed from the start they suck but as your expectation meter fills you get stars and if you win the cup you get like 8

Try skating towards the opponents end of the ice in the corner with one of your wing men and as that happens your defenders will come up and set up shop at the point...pass it back to the point and then to your other defender until your able to get a good look at the net and then fire away! FYI: Don't shoot a wrist shot from the point, that will get blocked almost every time, unless your in the middle of the goalie and the blue line then go for it! Also change your offensive strategy to ALL OUT ATTACK and defense to AGGRESSIVE...your team overrun the opponents goalie 75% of the time!
Put the game on begginers level.
Get a really fast player (edmonton oilers- mark bergeron) go to either side of the rink then use boost. try to go straight up or down to enimies goal then while still using boost and turn to oppasite side if fast enough the far side from where you starated off from will be wide open for a wrist shot
The way I score is I come in with a really fast player along the boards, and when I come close to the goal line, I move toward the net and cut right across it, past the goalie, and put it in just when my stick is past him...it doesn't work so well with the backhand (it tends to miss or go off the post), so make sure you're using your forehand for better accuraccy...eg. lefthanded players come up the right wing, etc...
You can also when your coming on the golie quickly pass and press the slap shot button they usaly score
All you have to do is to do mega fast stick handling ( don't have to go fast) then shoot when your close, don't use this for all your goals, it will get harder and harder to score because to gaolie knows what your doing.
Once you are in their end, use a player, slow or fast, must have good puck control and accuracy. get down just in front of blue line, cut right across in front. then when just across the halfway point of the net, keep going to the right or left (way you are going) and use slap shot. quite good, but requires good Slap power, at least 80 acc. and 90+ puck control.
Wind up a wrist shot, flow across to the other side of the slot and shoot it at th eside you started from
Hold a wrist shot when you ner the golie and there s no peaple aronde you and use themove stick to sliade to him [golie] hell go ito a butter fly [sides of the padsdown formin awall] and shoot ive down it to win the stanley cup work s best whith star players.
When your goin to get a face off at your opponents end win the face off and pass it to your defenseman then hold R1 for 6 seconds then release it to score
Just like in real hockey since its getting pretty realistic, you are just going to have to work on your dekeing and beat the goalie. I dont even use to auto deke on goalies doesnt work as well as stick handling.
You have to delete that player and put players that have a small salary
Go to contracts then press x to the player you dont want to have.then it will say drop to free agency and cancel press drop to free agency
Just put the player in the minors cause the minors players dont count towards salary. then wait for your salary to increase by increasing NHL Pressure in the upgrades.
If your in dynasty and you stack your team, just put a few of your superstars in the minors, that way then their salary doesn't affect your salary cap space...
There is one that I like is when(with a left hand shot) u go wide right(when on breakaway) and cut parrelel to the goalie quickly stop , spin the left analog counter clock wise. if you do this right (wich isn't really hard) the goalie will have slid over and you can pop her top shelve.
There is no skill stick in NHL07!
The only trick I know on the skill stick is if you click the R3 button you can do a saucer pass
With a left handed shooter hold a wrist shot in front of the goalie then go to the right side in a straght line and shoot

In a fight you press triangle to block high. square to block low. X to pucnh in the mid section and O to punch in the jaw

Press the O button to punch high and X button to puch low...press Triangle button to block high, and push the square button to block low...word of advice..once the fight begins i usually start pressing the O button to wear the opponent down ..once you see his helmet fly off, then one more haymaker up top will knock him out!
Ok u need to have a person on ur team who is willing to fight. If u dont have any one one your team who is willing, pick up stratton whitaker in free agency.
The player you were using might never fight. you have to edit him to change that. and you got to be near the person you have to fight
You have to make some big hits and hold people with agressive players and wait till it makes a *ding ding ding* noise and a little box should come up at the bottem of the screen saying who wants to fight who, then press down on the directional pad
You can't just start a fight out of no where you have to piss the other people off just like in real life hit the same guy a bunch of times and it will happen on it's own
You have to wait until the other teams player gets mad enough to want to fight, also, it helps if you have your enforcer out on the ice. Another thing is, there are not going to be many fights early, try later on in the 3rd period.
Try getting in his face-get agressive-shut penaltys of and charge and interfere with him

At the end of game and at main menu after it sais simulating it will show the teams symbols and theyre season stats below look even lower you will see an orange bar thats it

After any game, a screen will pop up that shows the scores of other matchups in the league, and also what players are sick, injured, on hot or cold streaks, ect. on your team. At the very bottom of that screen there should be a yellow bar that shows where the owner's trust is between trust levels. Also at the right of the upgrades screen there is a yellow bar that shows where the owner's trust is between trust levels.
