If my cheat box wont come up after hitting ctrl+shift+c is it something wrong with my computer? it works for everybody else and i've tried it on all screens. (e.g. neighborhood, build mode, etc)

How do you keep a sim happy?

The game keeps crashing. It will freeze and a window pops up,

"The application has crashed. The application will now terminate."

I dont know if it intalled wrong or what but it's really getting on my nerves. Any suggestions?

I tried to maximize my sims skill levels by typing in "boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true". then i left clicked on the tab for the skill i wanted to raise. but nothing happened. i am wanting to know if i am doing something wrong or not doing something that is needed. PLEASE can someone help me out?? i would greatly appreciate it! :)

First of all its: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
and you need to enter the cheat in the nabourhood then go to the family you want to up gade their skills.

Ctrl+Alt+C Then enter boolprop TestingcheatsEnabled true, then exit the lot your in and go back to it, If you see Somthing in black in the TOP RIGHT CORNER, then it work...

First do the cheat in the neighborhood
(can use"boolprop testincheatsenabled true")
you're playing in (before you enter the house) and any house you play in after you will be able to drag the motives, skills, interests and characteristics (neat-sloppy, shy-outgoing, etc) in either direction

Ok I just did this, and it totally works! First of all, you have to be in the neighborhood. While in the neighborhood hit shift+ctrl+c then type in boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true then hit enter, then exit to close the window. Keep in mind you have to type it exactly how I did. Then click on your family lot. Pause your game, and go to where it shows your sims skills, then just click and drag it up or down. (In the top right corner of the screen in black letters there should be something that says v1.7.7.145, IT WORKS, if it doesn't your not doing it right! Hey, you can also maximize your personality, Realationships, and Interests! Your welcome )
