You just go to where you make a wall and while the thing is up, you press and hold crtl and drag it along the wall you don't want. this will "bulldoze" it.
Go to the build wall section and do you know how you slide the mouse while clicking to make a wall well do the same but hold down Ctrl while doing it. Hope it works :)
In the decorating and wallpaper and stuff where the arrows are to change your view there is a hand to pick up stuff and next to that hand is a hammer click on the hammer and while you r on the hammer click on the wall you want to demolish and it wont be there

Actually, It has a better chance to be a girl if the man says try for a baby and if the woman who selects try for a baby then it will probably be a boy. But It does not always work like that.
I't a coin flip which means it's a 50% 50% for both genders.
But i'm not entirely shure, since my game crashes whenever a female has the baby(when the "a baby is on the way" message appears)
You save the game just before the sim is about to have the baby then when she has had it go back to your neighbourhood then go back to that house and keep doing that until its gender changes

You go to a wardrobe (if you dont have one, its in buy mode) and you click on it and say "plan outfit" and your sim plans outfit (you choose the clothes you want them to wear) and if they dont change right away, you just click on the wardrobe again and say "change into outfit". NOTE: if your are wearing your everyday, and you want to change it--change into formal or swimsuit first. anything but the one you want to change into.

Make sure you use the code on the back of the INSTRUCTION BOOKLET not the box. It should automatically make lowercase to uppercase though. If its an expansion pack you need a basic one (sims, sims 2)

That happened to me, all the time. Once you get the kid, it grays out, I don't know why. Then sooner or later, once that officer leaves, then you can go in build mode and buy mode.
U must buy the things you nned for a kid b4 he/she comes. the social worker stays to make sur that you tak good care of the kid. if you dont the social worker wiil not let you hav the kid( say the kid comes and all you do is watch tv) but if you tak care of the kid the right way then you can hav the kid. then the social worker will leave and you can buy things again. but even if you dont tak care of he/she l8tr n life then the social worker will still come(say you dont feed it then then it will starve, the social worker will still come to get it.) so when you adopt a kid mak sur you tak good care of cuz the social worker wants to mak sur your a gooD mother or even father! WOW I WROTE A LOT!
WHENEVER the Social Worker, The Rober, and the Repo Man comes, buy and bild will grey out. Same in comunity lots. and lastly, when a fire starts.(it was put like that to prevent cheating in all those conditions but community lots)

-go to a clothing store in your neighborhood (phone-"call taxi etc......)
- once you get there, click on the clothing rack and hit "buy clothes...." then pick which one you want i.e. everyday, formal, pjs, etc

This is even easier! Do the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat, and then shift click on any sim in your house. Click plan outfit when they are not doing anything. It might take a few tries, but eventually it will take you to a screen where you can buy clothes. You can buy as many as you want and they are cheaper then the ones in a community lot.
Make a family with 8 people then make a nother family. move them in the house together then right click on any person in the house. then u have a lot of choices. find spawn click on that then after u click on spawn find thomb stone of l & d. then a thomb stone will appear click on the thomb stone and find add to family add the people that u want to add if u dont want some of the other people then i usually starve them and let them die. but thats how u make a reall big family. or u can make the lady adult try for baby in a photo both if u have nightlife, u can make her try for baby in bed or in a jucusie. its seems very simple doesnt it! lol =^)

If you've got any version of windows before vista, you can press ctrl+alt+del and then when the task manager comes up just close it. in vista when you close it the sims 2 just comes back up. or in mine it does, anyway.
Pay attention to them - train them, play, give love, but you can also get a pet rejuvenator at Simslice (pay site) but you can register for one month and get bunch of hacked objects to help you with game then cancel before renewing next month.
You could use the elixir of life when thier at the red aspiration level (I don no what that's called). Or you could use the Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and then shift-click on them and press set to b-day to make them age faster. then you can age them into an elder if you want.
I had the same problem it is to do with the hp laptops.Go to start menu, search for HP Health Check, right click and go to properties, click the shortcut tab,then go down to the short cut window. The short cut for this program is ctrl+shift+c the same as in sims, so just change it and your cheats window should work fine.
The easiest thing 2 do is to do the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat. Then shift click on a sim, and press spawn and then click Rodney's death creator. A tomb stone will appear. Click on it with the sim you want to kill and chose the method to kill them by.
And jus so you no, if its a teenage sim, adult sim, or an elder sim, you should click "die of old age" so then you can collect inheritance money, but if its a toddler or a kid sim then you should choose "die by satellite", because then you can sell the satellite and get around $2,000 for it!
If you want 2 collect inheritance money, then make sure that your sim that you r killing has best friends or family members, because if they dont, you wont get the money.
You could also do the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat and then shift click on the sim that you want to kill and press kill then chose wether you want them to die by flies or give them the death token. (to die by flies, make sure there r actually flies on the lot)
You could also just make that sim swim in a pool and delete the steps so that they drown. Or you could make them sick, and then eventually if you dont take care of them, they will die.
Or even easier, do the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat (again!) and then find force error, click it, and chose delete. It will just delete that sim.
You really don't have a choice, but if you make the mom do wohoo with the dad, then there is a better chance of having a boy. Also, you can save the game right before the baby is born, and then just keep exiting out until you get a boy.

Ok make sure you first have all yoursims needs bar out! you go to your sims food and all that stuff, then look to the right and you will see all of these icons. It should be friendship, and some other things. but there should be a treasure chest (i dont remember if it is it but try anyway if it has all the carreer awards then go 1 up I think. But you will see all of these items and if you scroll to the right you will see the elixir of life. But how you earn your "money" is fullfill your sims wants. Hope I helped you!

Well you have to have a grave in your yard or on your lot. But I dont really know how they come but I think you mourn or something then at night they come and float. lol! but they can kill your sim so be carefull! What I did was once I see a ghost I pause save then go back and then if they ghost kills the sim I go to the neighbor hood without saving and then go back and your sim is still alive! Hope I helped!
