New York Racer PS2 Q&A

Q:

Why are there 16 letters listed for each cheat code - but the game will only allow 9 digits to be inserted??? I've tried; the first eight letters, the last eight, the first nine, the last nine letters to no avail. Every other website seems to have cut'n'pasted the same codes with no explanation as to how you use them. Help.
