It's either to early or to late.
If you are in Mimis house then You just have her get on the phone and she will have the Throw a Party option
That happend to me, but if you keep goin down your see the option, its just hiding!

I can tell you how to complete the goals:
upgrade your abode:buy cool stuff for the house and increase the house value.
get to career level 2: get all the skills and friends needed and be in a good mood.
get to career level 3: same from above.
repair all the broken stuff ok there are 2 ways to do this. you can hold R1 R2 L1 L2 at the same time and enter in freeall. Then bring up the menu again and enter in midas then go into the game and buy meet major domo[he will be free] put him somewhere and let him free he can complete this goal and the clean the house goal.
Clean the house: same from above.
I hope I covered all the goals for you and im warning you the next house is hard!

Alright, I did this one pretty fast. First you gotta go to the main menu and get up your cheat menu (L1 L2 R1 R2 at the same time) then type in MIDAS than FREE ALL. Get a life and make your character and all. When you get to level 2, go to Buy Mode and go to the last category thing with the circles. Go to the last item and buy it, it will imediately get your abode updated. Then go to play mode, click it, press release and the monkey butler will clean and repair everything for you. All you have to do is get a promotion, which is really easy.

Okay, when you're at the title screen, press L1+R1+L2+R2. Then, type in FREEALL so that you get everything free. To throw the raging party, I suggest you get TWO hot tubs, so that everyone'll be happy. Get some pizza and hamburgers so that the guests won't be hungry. Get a pooltable and a t.v. and some other fun things so that they won't be bored. Remember to talk to your guests once in a while.

If you don't mind cheating, at the title screen press R1, R2, L1, and L2 simultaneously then type in MIDAS and you'll have everything
U need to get past career level 7 to get it and if you need creative skills to get promoted buy a guitar or piano.
U gotta go to the main menu and enter L1 L2 R1 R2 then type in MIDAS and FREEALL and then it will unlock for u! have fun with it!

The sims 2 game only works on ps2 so it is probably the disk if the disk has any scratches on it then that is maybe why it isnt working? or it is maybe the ps2? the same thing happened to me I have my own ps2 and one of my brothers has his own!. Well you have to make sure your in a good mood,and try getting more charisma skills,in order to do that you will need a mirror,to do speeches in. Also swim in the pool to gain body skills,and read some books to get more skills,and possibly paint a few pictures,this really helped me get a promotion hope it helps you!

Here are 2 ways to see Sims without the censor bars. One way is to have a female Sim then buy the heartbed and have them get in it when you select vibrate. Keep pausing the screen until she's about to lay completely down and the censor bar will be low enough for you to see their... well, you know what I mean. Make a 4x4 room. put a fireplace in the front of the room. put a heart bed in th back. make sure the sim can get in the bed. put some carpet in the room. then make the sim go in the room then take out the door. light the fireplace. click on the bed and choose viberate. then once completely in the bed put tables surrounding the bed so they cant get out. when the bed and tables catch on fire the sim cant leave. in about a minuite the sim will reappear naked in another room. works every time. if there is a sensorbar do it again then there shouldnt be a sensor bar. good luck!

Actually no there's not! Sorry! But all you have to do is check there states every little bit and fill them!
When you get to the cheat mode type in SIMSUPER and all your motives will be filled!
There is a cheat for max all motives but you can only use it in the free play game. just type in cheats and look for it, you type it into the gnome and keep coming back to it.. it will say max all motives

It's hard but not impossible here's wat you do: 1 make sure you are really good friends with the person who you want to be your roommate over 70 2 throw a really good party by: make really nice food order pizza make sure the house is clean barbque burgers after the person has eaten call them into the hot tub talk and all that stuff then ask to be roommate don't do it late at night cause then they will be 2 tired to say yes. oh yeah and also don't become roommates with the person you wanna marry because then you can't marry them!

You have too much stuff, and should sell some. Until the red goes down, you can not buy any more things. Building on to your house will help only if you build on a BIG room. Little rooms do not help whatsoever.

I suggest before you start to load your game to the cheat code to make all objects free. Then re model the entire house by puttin radios, a bar, a pool, etc. Through the biggest party in your sim life seeing as you dont have a real one! lol j/k!
Well when you have a party pick the one you want to move in with and start talking too them and in the day time when your off work invit them over and let them become your friend it took me till the relasoinship was up to about 64 then have a party and ask them
First buy two hot tubs, then put them inside. Get MiMi/dudley to cook burgers. You order pizza and throw party. greet one person then go in the hottub and have small talk with some one until your friendship level is 80 and up. after that ask them to be you roommate if it says no then you need to try again the next day (make sure you still go in the hot tub its really important)nand ask a little earlier

I had this problem to! But then I figured out how to do it and now im up to the last house! Ok here's wat you do: 1 become close friends with somebody [over 70] 2 throw a great party by: making sure the house is very clean. make really good food and order pizza after the person has finished eating their pizza or food get into the hot tub and call them in. Then wait for them to get out and ask for them to be your new roomate! Hope I helped:) note:you have to do this stuff at a party.

Get heart bed. make a room 1 square bigger than it on all sides. put a door somewhere. get 4 fireplaces. put them on the outsides of the room. light all but the one you're going to put on the bottom of the bed. now go in bed with vibrate. now go to buy mode. move the fireplaces to the inside of the room. put a zebra rug under the bed. now the bed will burn and your sim will appear near there nekked. now make them use the toilet. voila! your sim is uncensored
