Buy a rx-7 from american dealership, tune it to have about 350-400hp. I would recomend 350 because it's easier to control. make sure it has nos and tires to fit the hp. put everything that won't affect hp. on lv. 5(or as high as you can afford) then race han a looooooooot of times. trust me, that strategy got me OVER $1,000,000! or, use han's car. if he's nto there race the one that will give you the most $$$ of the ones up there. trust me, it works. han because you won't have to restart the race a thousand times and will give you a loooooooot of money. from what I can remember, he gives you $26,000. oh, and drift racing gets you more $$$ than grip.
The LF-C Concept Car, use lvl 5 nitrous, fuel inject., etc etc, with the exception of transmition which should stay at 3 or 5 to improve top speed instead of acceeration. This wil bring it to around 700-750 hp. It doesnt have the greatest handling, however on a top speed mission you only need 1 small uniterupted sprint, and if you keep it under control it can also be a great drift car.
The trd mr-s is crazy fast and light with lvl 5 parts its goes 240 and weighs less then 2000lbs also, you can get it at the start of the game and can beat everybody with it
Honestly, the fastest car depends on what side you do first. the drift side will be the zo6 corvette, and the other will be the lf-a concept. if you unlocked ONLY(of the 2 lexus')the lf-c and the rest of it is on the drift side, the lf-c is the fastest car 1/2 way(50%) in game.-by ps2/pc game master
It could be something wrong with the console like a virus or wet or dusty. get some compressed air. it helped my ps2 up to a certain point(i havent seen it lately in the target in valdosta, georgia) so, it should be able to help your ps2.disk might have got wet or it might have a virus like midnight club 3 dub edition remix. that game is why i got some comressed air-so that i wouldn't have wasted my money paying for a useless disk my ps2 wouldn't even read. about multiplayer, i never tried it before completing the game, sooooo...
...i dont know. you really should try that compressed air, i mean, it made my ps2 run perfectly, like i only had it for one day. i only saw it in target, sooooooooo... when i didn't see it any more, i was kinda disappointed.
Sorry about target, they all of a sudden stopped selling it.:((( I went to different sites and found that sams now sells it(only store).:O(this is from A2)
If you know where the dvd players are in the target in valdosta, it's down that same isle:) but i'd recommend it from wal-mart.:P ps. keep in mind that you have to have both controllers pluged in your ps2 when you go to multiplayer. I have typed A2.
You unlock cars from drift racing(viper, 350z, gt500 concept, mustng gtr) I haven't played this game in a while, but the few cars I remember unlocking in drift is those in the question. by the way, the 350z makes it hard to get points drifting and the corvette's faster than the viper.
You know, the honda dealership is unlocked from the start. if I wanted to, i'd go there like 100 times a day. just look on your map and it's on the same highway as the toyota dealership.
The rx-7. tune it so that you get about 350hp. make sure you buy nos! buy lv. 4 everything that will not give you any more hp. tires-drift not sure what level, i think it's 3, but it says something like perfect for tuned cars about 350hp. or under. tuned like that, the rx-7 is peeeeeeeeeeeeerfeeeeeeeeeect for drifting!
!
!
! since i first bought the rx-7, i have had no problems making drifts beautiful! oh, and the best car for speed(grip) is the z08(not c6 or the most expensive one-it's potential is very limited!) everything as high as it can go... ...including tires-lv.5 grip! also, make sure you don't buy any old car because it's top speed is like 115-tuned mustang fastback i haven't tried the chevelle yet but anyway it's speed should be less than 130mph. sooooo, stay away from those cars.
Well I would buy the shelby gt 500 and I would NOT worry about looks! just put the highest level every thing except for the engine (dont buy a new engine) then when your done with that do the looks of the car.
p.s. the mustang and all the old cars work just fine just give time for the parts to settele in
Get a fast 4wd car and tune it up da most you can.I wud put supercharger or turbo on first incase you dont av enuf money to do them when you get to it.
Install as much performace as you can and at the start of the race use you nos to get ahead of him and then push him against the wall .if you keep up with him then you will both slow down.just do that until hes stoped and just nos it as far away as you can
it worked fore me and I was using a rx 7 around 425-435 BHP
I used a mr2 to beat it was pretty fast . I would recommend not use ff cars at all there pretty slow in the game not matter how you tune it. its best if you use fr,mr,awd cars.
Sorry, but I don't think there is money cheats in this game. I would do races in the first grip hotspot. then I would move to the first drift hot spot and do races there until I had enough for the rx-7 at the american dealer. then I would tune it for a 350hp. car that can drift good and pracitce in that. your money in game will build over time, so just be patient and race then you will have money for it. and yes, I do realize that you are only renting it but you can buy it in wal-mart and save yourself the trouble of trying to find a money cheat.
I don't think there's a money cheat for this game...sorry. if you race enough people then you will unlock more cars and will most likely hve money for them. you can get this game anywhere like wal-mart or target.
When your passing the toyota dealer just go strait then you should see it eventually. HONDA'S ARE IN THIS GAME! trust me, I have an s-2000 and it drifts GOOD!
*** This does not include the grip/drift battles.
Do power overs (aka donuts) in one location to get many points. Have enough room to do the donuts or you will hit rails. Use your Clutch (L1) + Gas (X), and when in the donut keep them both held with your direction held to either the left or the right. Try using the '67 Mustang Fastback. To be able to buy the car you must complete and win a few roll up races.
Set-up specs for the '67 Mustang Fastback:
Nitro None
Intake/Exhaust Level 5
Fuel/Ignition Level 5
Supercharger None (leave stock)
Intercooler None
Suspension Level 5

Use transmission Level 3 while drifting. It helps keep drifts going longer without stoping.

The car I used was the 350z 35th anniversary edition, just watch the throttle on the turns n you be fine -Answer by:wtshauf88
Simply repeat races until you have it. I just done the race against han over, and over, and over. and well, I have around $1,500,000 in this game right now!
You unlock the LF-A after you beat the last boss at suicide mountain, brian is in the second crew at rainbow bridge hot spot, and I have no idea on what you mean by grand tour
Best upgrades that I like were the all the perfomance upgrades, and black paint job with red window tint, and fer the rims, you can pick whatever you like -Answer by:wtshauf88
By using the break drift the entire track (on turns only) thats how I beat all those sorry drifters including D.K. him and his crew are so easy that game in general is easy but I love it ........ Just llike I realy love drifting in my 2002 BMW M3 in real life
Teh guy below A1: guy is full of crap, use the clutch kick,it will get you sliding way better than the,if your going slow, and use the brake, its jus like slowing down, and clutchkick will get you turning, and all you have to do is control it,and ied suggest teh mustang fastback, its the best car.
Right at the end before you go onto the dirt road to the finish line start doing donuts and you will git lots of points, and you can do it for as long as you want
Even though it's tempting to just bolt the highest level of every performance part onto your car, it's not always the best option.
Play around with different parts, experiment a little. If you have the money to, that is. Find what suits your driving style best.
I added all level 5 parts to my Trueno AE86, and I can't control it at all. So, I have a car with 500+ HP and a top speed of 197mph, but I can't control the darn thing. May as well be stock for all the good it does on the street.

Well, I had a viper at one time and found out that if I tune it lv. 5 verses lv. 5 corvette the corvette is faster. by the way, the lexus lf-a is the fastest car in game-i got that thing up to like 270mph. with level 5 everything and I found out that if you hit a traffic car, it will put you on the other side of the road! cool, huh?
Wright their names down for each one you beat. then roam around and when you get to one look down the list and if his name's not there, beat him if his name is there, pass him without racing and keep driving until you find one whose name's not on the list.
