Right trial: Light all the flames on the wheels and then the enemies will lose the blue gas and you can kill them. Middle trial: Run around and under and jump over the spikes till you hit the end, grab the crystal and go back. Left Trial: Go in, Take a left, or look at the skull and cross bones, follow the same pattern, eventually find enemies, no crystal.

Maybe you don't have a hold on all the shoulder buttons, then hold up & left with the directional buttons, and hold down & right with analog stick, but move analog stick around that area until the game says "Devil May Cry."
