Go to Violet City and go to the route after it. Talk to the guy that is to the right of the Sudowoodo a.k.a "the wiggly tree" after catching or defeating Sudowoodo a.k.a "the wiggly tree" and he will give you the TM: Rock smash.
The tree blocking the path to eckruteak is really a pokemon. squirt it with a waterbottle and defeat it in battle. then, go to the right (even though eckruteak is to the left) and talk to the first person you see on the path. he will give you rock smash.
After u get squirt bottle then u talk the fat guy next to sudowoodo and he will give it 2 u
After u beat the gym leader in golden rod city get the squart bottle from the girl thats watering the plants then go up when u beat the tree go right then talk to the fat guy and he will give u rock smash
To get the bottel beat the 3d gim then talk to the person in the ouuse under the gim a few homes. there in a house with some plants.

You actually can, but you have to catch at least one muk, one slugma, and one grimer, if I remember correctly. you can find muk right in the pool, and same for grimer. to get slugma (a somewhat sucky pokemon statwise but gets a kick-butt movepool) you gotta go to fuschia city, and go to the house between the gym and the poke center. then, talk to each and every person in the house. one guy will tell you where to find slugma, but he calls it a weird, slow pokemon. but talk to EVERYONE in that house, or you can't 'solve' the grimer 'problem'. once you do, the old man tells you something different like 'where did the grimer go? -somthing esle-' he also does NOT give you any items, or any reward. but it gives you that sense of completion.

Do not use normal attacks...instead use fire, water and etc...psychic is very effective..
The path to him is right in front of the monk people. Unfortunatly u have to battle them all. its good training though. I suggest using dark type moves, its super effective. and if your in a jam, have a pidgeotto that knows gust or somethin, cause there goulish attacks don't effect them -Answer by:Skarmory

First you'll have to let out the tree lengendary pokemon by going to the burnt tower in eruetik city fall down a hole after you use rock smash a few times. and there will be three things there they will flee. Trawck them down then use the pokedex to locate the pokemon. catch them with a master ball mr.elk or something after beating team rocket then catch the legendary pokemon
U can get mewtwo cause u can when u get all the badges right then go to that cave at the second badge there and then u go in and u complete the maze then at the end u will find MewTwo the Legendary Pokemon
The legendary pokemon that you can get are ho-ho, the three dogs-if you can catch them -but - not to be a show of - I did! anyway, carrying on, mewtwo and lugia.
You are able to get all the Legendary Pokemon to Gold and Silver by trading. About Mewthree, those people don't know what they are talking about, because it is called MissingNo or 'M not Mewthree and you can't trade it, but you can catch it in Gold and Silver by means of GameShark. Anyways, hope that helps.
