Go into the lighthouse and make your way up...but you have battle some people on the way up.
Defeat the eight gym then go to elm after you beat the elite four he will give you an s.s. anne ticket
Go to your home town where your mom and professor elm is and then on the east side of the town there will be water. surf the water until you get to land. there will be a man on the shore saying "do you know what you just did? you just took your first steps in kanto!" or something like that. then there will be a cave right there. you need to have HM07 (waterfall) do go up a waterfall in the cave. I guess you can figure it out the rest (:
You know how to get to POKeMON LEAGUE HQ, right? After you defeat Lance, the credits will roll, blah blah blah, and you'll "restart" in New Bark Town. Take two steps forward and Prof. Elm should call you. Go to his lab and he'll give you an S.S. Ticket. Now FLY to Olivine City. You can now board the S.S. Aqua! You need to find the other sailor that guy wants you to find, then you have to find that poor little girl that has lost her way. After that kindness, the ship will stop. You'll now be in Vermillion! Oh yeah, and it has to be Wendesday or Sunday. Have fun!

First you must get the EXPN upgrade for your PokeGear radio. To do this, you must find the missing part for the Power Plant. It is located in Cerulean Gym in the middle pool-go to its left side, face to the right on the upper left, and press @. Give it to the Manager, then FLY to Lavender Town. Go into the Radio Tower and talk to the guy wearing a tuxedo. He'll thank you for saving his job and give you an EXPN upgrade. Now FLY back to Vermllion City and go to Ch.20 on your radio (the last big line) then talk to the Snorlax in the way of Diglett's Cave. He'll wake up-he's a Lv.50 and a male, and not only does he have a high Defense, he'll be easier to catch if you have a strong Pokemon and some Heavy Balls. Now go through Diglett's Cave. When you come through you'll be in Pewter City-go DOWN instead of up and you'll eventually be in Pallet Town.
