Use the fire blast and fire to kill him. do not use melee
First, use unlimited breath. then when you are fighting him, use fire breath without stopping (basicly constantly breathing) and use fire breath as close as you can get to him. also, dodge his attacks. (note: when he puts his ice shield up, don't get near him, it hurts! just use your fire shot.) also the best way is fire fury.
You get the endless life cheat code, try t attack from behind, and double jump over his ice attacks.

Use triangle on fire to use the projetciles and melee

Strafe (L1) and press X and left or right with the left analog stick and dodge his attacks with this and while he is walking shoot him with your fire balls- if you don't want to run out of magic then use this cheat: pause, up(x2), down(x2), left right(x2) L1 (x2), R1 (x2),pause if you entered it correctly you should hear a loudish gong sound sound......AND if you just don't wanna die just enter this code: pause, repeat first code but instead of putting in L1 and R1 (x2) put in:L1 R1 L1 R1unpause and you will hear the gong sound, these cheats have been tested by me and many other people.

Use earth on it- stand in the middle of the track (move out of the way when he comes) and he should crash into the wall then run over to him and continuously shoot earth at him this will bring down his life very fast. This is the best strategy to use.

He can only fly in certain levels. :P I don't like that about this game. But, in Dawn of the Dragon, you get to fly whenever you want!
He can't fly just in regular levels, only on the flying levels. He can glide, though. And, like it says up there (when I put that answer up before I was a member) in DotD you can fly whenever you want. And play as Cynder and fly her whenever you want! -Answer by:Cloudtail4ever

I asked the same question too and did the same thing I even use fully upgraded fury attacks! but it turns out that you can only get Cynder skin on DS

No, you can't play as cynder on either a new beginning or the eternal night. but on dawn of the dragon, coming out on october 7th, you can switch between cynder and spyro whenever you want

You have 2 break all the crystal clusters that appear on the game. you break 60 to get a cynder skin but to play as cynder you would have to be playing this game on psp

You cant get it on PS2 but on PSP and DS you can and also on DotD you have poison,wind,fear,and shadow as cinder

You hop from the pillars that grow wen u press the buttons and you glide to the top of the log from where you run down when you start the level and you take a left and carry on!
There's a log that you can climb over instead of inside and that will get you where you need to be.
You have to put all the balls in place to get to the shrine then when ya defeat all those people leave like ya came in I know it looks the same but trust me its different
Jump on the blocks and go on top of the log you originaly came through.
After you go back on your original log and turn left theres a log in the middle of the place how do you get to it?

Just remember to go find ALL of the blocks and use the tail swip to push them down. then go on top of the tree which will lead you to the next path way.

There is also a sort of maze in there too, you have to roll rocks to the correct places in order to make some walls disappear so you can continue, that's after you tail smash all the little blocks.

Enter the unlimited breath code then keep using ur mega fireblast at him. unlimited health will also help loads
You can defeat it without cheats when you are on the cross tracks you can what for steem to come at you. then do this a couple of times and you can see steem run right into a wall and stop easy to hit and then follow for a short time
Keep on attacking it with earth, fire and everything you got and then jump in front of the steam before it hits you use your fire fury attack to do a powerfull blow
If you don't want to use cheats, just do this:
Wait for him to get going pretty fast. When he is, stand in the center of the tracks. Wait for him to come towards you. When he does, jump out of the way at the last second. He'll crash into the wall. That's your chance! Use a breath (I suggest earth or electric) on him or melee him. Repeat this until you kill all 4 of his lives. Use the earth breath and stand on the tracks (on the middle) and then jump off when it heads toward you it will run into a wall and thenrun up to it and use the earth breath keep doing that
When he goes into a wall fire at the underside of the train. watchout 4 the volcano magma balls they hit where you stand so keep movin'!
Youll have to kill him mainly with earth @ fire breath like any other boss. Ive beaten the game.
First lure it to the wall then use any breath he will get stuck then press circle until the train moves repeat until steam is defeated
Run the opposite way as it and when it comes double jump and torch it as you glide down
When your against steam, go in the opposite direction as him. when he gets close, double jump and press triangle with the fire breath. or you could walk around the middle and wait for him to come across and break down. just don't stand in the middle because he will shoot you with flaming balls. but when you get to the part with his red bar, you should try my first method.
Stand on the centre of the track and watch for which way steam is coming then jump out of the way. It will crash into a wall and then you need to kickass with all you got! remember to power up with crystalsTook 8 hours to fathom it out but it works

When you first get to tall plains you go thruogh the log then use ur fire breath six times in the log then the thing will go up in flames go through the cave and you will see a glowing orb walk into it and you will se a video clip of cynder and spyro then go to the extras menu and you can select cynder scin!

I just throw the around with electric breath. If there is a never ending gap throwing them of kills them, this also works on dread wings. You may need to level it up to full first though, i'm not sure.

All you got to do is basically through the enemies of the side of the boat
The boat will stop when it docks
Just keep killing them all remember on the pause screen go to levle up and make ur attacks stronger otherwise youll not bem able 2 complete the game nvr mind get off the boat but anyway keep killing the monsters untill you get of the boat
Just whenever you beat something collect the gems and store up for fur y and breath and when the big dudes come out use your FIRE fury and then knock the rest of them off

Im afraid you just have to fight them. Keep trying though. My advice would be to do the move where you hit them up into the air and hit them again and again...keep doing this.

You could try throwing them of the edge with your electric breath I can't remember if you have it though. I have not done this myself but I've done it in other places, with, Dreadwings, those big scorpion things and other enamies that are not bosses. I hade electric breath fully upgraded when I did this though.
There is a fixed amount you have to defeat, try using ur electric attack to throw them off the cliffs, instant KILL!
Enter the infinite health cheat and just keep hiting them and there should be about 10 of them after the 5th one use your electicty breath so they cant move while your shooting them and eventually thyel go away

You have to defeat a lot of them but once no more come and all Dreadwings are dead just move on

Once you get electric breath, use it to throw them off cliffs or into lava
If you are near a cliff or magma or something of that nature, use electricity to throw them off the cliff or into the magma, instant kill!
Use your lightning breath and through them over the ledges

It's so easy! How can you not get past that one I mean come on! Ok Just use whatever breath you have or hold circle then press X then R1
Okay, what I did was: I had my fire at a pretty high level, so I just used fire on them the whole time. It kills them easily. And you get back all your magic points from the gems you get when you beat them. That's for the ones at Dante's Freezer. For the ones at the other places, throw them off the edge (if possibe, depending on location) with your electric breath
