The Sims 2: Pets PC Q&A

Q: Ok this might be really dumb but how do you get to down town pet center where you can buy dog toys and accesories? and the "atm" to change simolons to pet money? im really confused please help. Oh and another thing, when my dogs breed why dont the puppies look like a mixture of both parents? mine look exactly like the mom and nothing like the dad.

A1: You might not have a pet store in your neighbourhood, if you don't then go onto the neighbourhood screen and click on the button that says lots (by the family button at the bottom) then click on one of the pet stores and place it into your neighbourhood, once you've done that go into your house and get a sim to phone a taxi and when the taxi asks you where you want to go click the pet store! hope it helps! sorry I cznt answer your other question

Q: How do you move the animals?

A1: If u mean how to move the spot they are in then there is a cheat 4 that...................... hold down CTRL+SHIFT+C and then type in moveObjects on next go into buy or build mode and then pick up ur pet and move it u CAN delete ur pet by hitting the DELETE button so if u dont want to be careful and make sure if u do delete ur pet exit the house without saving and then re-enter ur house and start over again with moving ur pet/pets. hope this helps

Q: How do you tell your animal is pregnant or not?

A1: Animals don't become pregnant, they just need to try for a puppy or kitten in the dog/cat house and then if it works, a basket with the puppies/kittens will appear.

A2: After they tried for a baby music should have sounded if it happened

A3: If Try For Kitten/Puppy is an option, the pet isn't pregnant. If it isn't, either the pets are same gender, you don't have an animal house, their relationships are high enough, or, if they have tried for kitten/puppy, they are PREGNANT!!! XD

A1: Well when u made ur pet u should of already put the collar on so i think u should just make another pet and another sims un put the collar on first.

A2: Go to the mirror and click on "makeover...." the on the pet (=

A3: Go to change appearance of on your mirror

A4: You go to the pet shop or when you are making the pet you pick a collar and when you arre at the pet shop you see if there is a collar thing the make you`r sim click on it and buy a colar.

A5: Just have your sim go to a mirror and click change the appearence of youre pets name. Then go to the number 3 after youve bought one

A6: Well first of all you need to buy a collar @ the pet shop. After you do that and are at your home buy a mirror. Click on the mirror and click change appearance of.. whatever animal you want to put the collar on. That also explains why it doesn't show in your inventory.

A7: If you bought a collar you go to the mirror click "change appearence" you choose the pet you want to change the appearence of, you go to the last number, there should be collars there click on it and the collar will go on your pet!!! Easy as pie!!!

A8: Well what I did is that I build a community lot and you will find the collar with the other objects just put it any where you want and save it then go to your sims house then go to the commuinity lot and buy it.

Q: How do you have puppies?

A1: You need two cats or dogs (don't have to be same breed), take your Sim, click on one of the pets and when the options come up click on 'Try for puppy with...' and then click on the other pet. Note: you will obviously need a male and a female pet for this to work!!!

A2: You must have a boy dog and a girl dog. they 2 dogs must have a high relationship. and then you take a sim that has a high relationship with the dogs and click on one of the dogs and click on "try for baby with..." then click on the other dogs name.

A3: Make the sims have a good relationship w/ both pets...then make sure both pets have a good relationship w/ each other..(make sure there is a male and female) then click the option "try offspring with..." then they go into the doggie house(you need 1) and listen for the pregnacy music. Do this until you hear the music (music=dog/cat is pregnant) and ofcourse the cat/dog has to be a female(the pregant 1)

A4: You get a doghouse then u clik on one of ur animals then it should say at the bottom, Try for offspring with...., then clik that, then clik the other animals name, after dat they should go into the doghouse, and woohoo, then later on have puppies

A5: First make sure u av a kennel then make sure u av a male and female dog or cat they must av a good relationship and a good friendship with the owner, click on any dog or cat and it should say try for puppy/kitten click on that ur dog/cat shouldgo into the kennel and shake about. If u ear the baby lully then ur gonna av pups and kittens!!!

A6: To have puppies, you have to have a male and a female dog (or cat if you want kittens). Their relationship has to be higer than 50 (although mine was 25 and it worked ;) and the sim who is commanding them to "try for offspring" has to have a high relationship with the animal it is commanding. Either the space bed or the last giant concrete one has to be near the dogs. After you command them to "try for offspring", they will go in the pethouse and "try for offspring". If the lulaby plays after they get out or while they get out, that means the female dog is pregnant. If you don't hear it, you can command them to do it again. 2-5 days after that happens (sim days that is) the mother will curl up like she is going to sleep and have the kittens/puppies. It worked for me, I hope it works for you!

Q: How do you get the 2-player mode on the sims pets 2 on the ps2?

A1: Cant

A2: If u look on the back of the box it says 1 Player so there is no way you can do that!

A3: Well you really cant play 2-player mode on sims 2 pets on ps2.

A4: Well theres realy no other way to tell you this but... you have to buy either a Nintendo gamecube or an xbox... and please anwser my question at the bottom of the page ..please.

A1: Um these questions are 4 the sims 2 pets. wat world r u in. but I do know how to get 1 for the sims hotdate. all u need to do is make a HOT girl and then make her a house. after that she will probably visit your other person and the build a relestionship with her and then go out with her.

Q: When my sims die, somtimes if they died of starvation, or by drowning, their ghosts will be different colors.is there a chart that tells you like what blue, or all the colors of the ghosts stands for? just woundering.

A1: I think the color of the ghost is the mood that sim is/was in when they died

A2: Yes there is! i don't know all of them but I do know that white=old age and that red=fire!

A3: The color depends on how the sims died. every death has its own color.

A4: Type on google sims 2 ghosts I found a site that said wat they stand for cuz of the ghosts in the stragetown cemitary

Q: How do i get a puppy... every time i try to breed on with dogs they woohoo and stuff but the puppies never come! i spent all day trying for it to happen and nothing happened.?

A1: UR lucky how do you get two pets 2 intract and r u sure there both girl and boy?

A2: It takes many days for puppies or kittens to come...be patient they'll be born after about 5 days..maybe more

A3: As the other person said, it takes about 5 days for the babies to come, and that is only if you heard the "baby jingle" music when they woohoo'ed.

A4: Um well it takes mabey about 5-7 and they might come unless you didn`t here the jingles.

A5: According to the guide, it's only suppose to take 2 days after "woohooing" for the puppies/kittens to be born.

A6: Well if you hear the baby jingle they will be born soon. A wolf fought one of my pregnent dogs and it gave birth the first day it became pregnent. Actually right after the fight because she lost.

A7: It only takes about two and a half days to have puppies...the way to know if your dog is prgnant, click on of the two breeding, and if it says try for puppy with...(prgnant pets name) you are not pregnant. simple

A1: Yes. Read the back of the box. Must have sims 2, sims 2 holiday edition, or sims 2 dvd special. Duh.

A2: Yes, you have to have the Sims 2 PC to be able to play any of the PC expansion packs

A3: Yes, obviously. you need the sims 2 before any other expansion pack.

A4: Yes, for any sims2 expansion pack u need the game sims2

A5: Yes. Pets is merely an expansion pack. You can't eun it without one of the following: Sims 2 PC, Sims 2 DVD or Sims 2 Happy Holiday Edition (not to be confused wit hSims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff)

A6: Yes, because it is an expansion pack. The expansion pack, is like the syrup, its just a bunch of extra stuff like pets, clothing and decorations. The Sims 2 is basically the pancakes or waffles whatever you prefer you need it in order for it to work. If you don't then you just have an expansion pack that doesnt work. And if you installed it already when you do get Sims 2 your going to need to uninstall Pets then install Sims 2 then install Pets back on. And your going to need to back up both of them in a separate file or disk.

A1: Buy the display box in buy menu it's under miscellaneous and then u stick them in there i think lol

A2: Buy something that looks like a tank but it for the dogs or cats and put them in ur shop it'll be in misc.

A3: Ok first u find doggnit pet display or the crazy cat display in the buy mode under pets in miscellaneous. and then u buy it. (this either has to be a home business or in a cummunity lot!) then u press the business build tools on the blue thingy in the top right corner. and put the display for sale. and then after tat a dog or cat will appear.and u can click on it and change the breed.

Q: How to get easy money?

A1: There is the "motherlode" cheat.

A2: Ctrl+shift+C motherlode=50,000 kaching=1,000

A3: There are two simple cheats for money: hold down ctrl+shift+c to pop up the cheat code window, then press "kaching" for 1000 Simoleons or "motherlode" for 50,000. (Make sure it's motherLODE, not motherLOAD; if you want the word history look it up on Dictionary.com, but it's the correct spelling for every case.)

A1: Um...yeah...no cure means you would be a werewolf forever...

A2: Yeah you can. Actually there is a cure if you get tired of it (because sometimes a werewolf will howl and then everybody on the lots bladder drops down half!) if you go on the phone and call pet trainer or something and he gives some advice! Hope this helped!

A1: Push Ctrl+Shift+C and type in Motherlode or for a smaller amount type in kaching

A2: You could go to aspiration rewards and earn a bit of money from a money tree. Or do a cheat: for 1000 simoleons type 'kerching' into the cheat box. Or for 50,000 simoleons type 'motherlode' into the cheat box.

A3: Well, all you need to do is hold ctrl+shift+c and a bar will come on the top and type in motherlode

A4: CTRL+SHIFT+C type "kaching" for $500 or you can type "motherlode" for $1,000

A5: The easy way to get money is this...first go to neighborhood press control shift c 2nd say this familyfunds "then your last name here" then say how much money u want 9999999 is the highest so it should look like this familyfunds dog 9999999 thats it.

A1: Click on ur car and when it says who needs a ride click on multiple sims

A2: When you are calling for a taxi, It will ask you either just that one sim or multiple sims. Click multiple sims and they should go with you. It worked for me!! Hope it works!!

A1: I not sure ther is a code. But just marry the maid, gardener, repare man, ect. And there working clothes will be add to the dresser. Your Welcome! =)
