Hi i have looked every where but i can not find the new key in the option menu.

If you are looking for the part where you put in that big long code then its easiest to go to the pet shop in the town square then in the right corner it should say something bout a code and you have to press square or sumthin then enter in the code and go ok and it will come up once you have left the shop in a box saying that you have unlocked that thing in the create-a-pet section

Too bad in the sims 2 on ps2 u can only play in one player ,but in the regular sims2 on ps2 u can play in 2 players ,buy it and play .

Only one player can play sims 2pets. I am mad about it to
2 players can play the sims 2 if u want to know how then go up to how can 2 players play the sims and i have posted it there.

Just 2 players (sims/people) put up to 4 pets and guinipig things and goldfish

On sims 2 pets u can only have one player but on the regular sims 2 u can have 1 or 2
You can play two players I have the guide to unlock everything booklet and it says on page seven I have to be detailed incase someone says im lieing well anyways it says on page seven it says second players an join the game so two players.........

If you go to townsquare and go behind the pet shop there will be a machine that converts money to petpoints

Easy! all you have to do is put in the pet points cheat and you have unlimited pet points.

Go to the ATM in the Town Square! one pet point shall cost 5 simoleans.
Well you could go to the pet ATM or do the cheat but the way to get pet points is to press the down arrow on your remote and then left, it should have a little section up the top saying what your pet wants, if you complete wants, you will get pet points. plus not only will you get pet points, but it will make your pet happy aswell (note: wants never run out and you get a different one every time)

The easiest way to do that is by creating a family consisting of a boy and girl so it's easier to find them. Then, just get them to talk to each other for a while. When your sims get to know each other better, more options will pop up when you decide to let them keep talking. Some of these options may get your sims to fall in love.
Get a garden swing start swinging on it call over your spouse wait on tell you and your spouse motives are 100 the click on romantice select propose and your marryed=)
Get a Hot Spring and get in. Then, invite over whoever it is you want your sim to fall head over heels (ouch...lol) in love with. Then just surround the Hot Spring with tables and the person will be forced to fall in love with your sim.
Get a couch and sit and talk to them for a while. then, get up and talk to them and use romantic. keep on trying even if your sim doesn't like you at first. sometimes, their motives are just out of wack so you may have to wait until they feel better. or, click on a different household, and have them propose to you. to get a divorce, you have to have -1 or more relationship points, then the option break up appears and your spuse turns into your enemy at -100.
Just tell them jokes till romantic pops up and boom propose and hope she says yes
The sim must not be shy or else they will reject anything you say or do to them. They will be mean too. make someone who is kind and playful and outgoing now you have your dream sim.
Well buy a fireplace and lite a fire.then get your sim to sit down and watch it. then call over the sim you want to fall in love with.talk for a while and share marshmellows.if you talk long enough your sim should have 100 relationship points with the other sim.then more options should turn up-'romantic'.click on it and go to first kiss,romantic hugg or purpose.sometimes the sims will reject and that causes you to lose some relationship points, so you will have to ern them back! by the end your sims should be married and living together.

Get 100 relatsionship. Make a combo pizza. For some reason, it makes them fall in love. If you have the romantic option, you can propose.

Answers +For money what u need 2 do is to enter the gnome cheat (L1,L1,R1,X,X,Up) and then the Advance 6 Hours cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1). Then go over to the gnome and select it. Dis-select it and then pause the game. Repeat the "Advance 6 Hours" cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1), (Whilst on paused (L1)) and then when you hear a 'Ping!' select the gnome and the cheat should be there! It works for me! There is another way to get simoleans just enter the cheat for the gnome (L1,L1,R1,X,X) then add (x, x, triangle, circle, up, down, down, left, right, left) it wil give you the give simoleans option on the cheat gnome
Actually the person who said the first thing is almost there. But instead of just holding down the pause button, you ALSO have to hold down the triangle button. And you don't necessarily need to type in the advance time cheat.

This isnt a cheat but I just did this when I didnt have any cheats I just invited a person to live with me get 20,000 simoleans kick them out still have the simoleans and repeat the process over and over

Go to your buy catalog and then go to is misc section and then buy a frood tree, garden, and fish tank and they harvest them.. But only one buys certain kinds of food if you want all the food you can harvest you have to buy all the gardens, frood trees, and tanks..

There are no cheats for the guinea pig/hamster & and the fish because they are ALWAYS available from the beginning of the game. You don't buy them from a pet store per se, you buy them from the objects menu: the hamster can be found (with the cage) in the 'pet supplies' section of the menu and the fish/aquariums are available from the 'Miscellaneous' menu.
How do u get the horse? cause i've already tried it and I never got one?

To get sims to marry each other, they must both have each other as 100% on thier relationship bar. Second, they don't need to be in a good mood. Any mood will do fine. Third, about having the whole babies thing. Well, it's NOT gonna happen. On all Sims cames for PS2 you can't have babies. Though I know a way to make a woman LOOK pregnant;
First when you are making her, go to morph body. Don't go all the way to the right, but make it look like she's VERY fat. Then, when you put a shirt on her, put the shirt that is all the way down, under the *No overshirt* button. Then pick a color and your done. She's seems pregnant!

Well I don't know how 2 have a baby but select ROMANTIC on the person's options. THen once u have 100 points for the both of 'em you can select ROMANTIC and select Propose and they will get married! Hope u kan find tips on the baby!
Actually u can have babies.. well not on sims 2 pets but keep reading coz u can have babies on "the sims" just the sims I had it before u could really have babies on it but then it went beserk so we had to take it back - its a good game even if its old :)
Listen, all you have to do is interact with the person...alot. Once my people were at their new house I got them to propose in less than a min.. Talk, play, rub-backs, talk, play, hug, first kiss,, ect. keep on going untill they 100% like eachother. Then chose one of the sims, go to romantic, and then propose. Oh, and no- you can not have babies in this game. only in the other ones. This one only focus's on people and their pets, no kids.
This way is pretty fast and will even work for 2 girls (ew...). You have to buy the Garden Swing from... seting I thnk... and then u ave to sit on it and call the other person over and choose 'snuggle' until their friendship gets up to 100% and then you can put propose and they will dress up in cheesy wedding clothes and kiss. There is not a big party unless you call people for a parrty.... Then they are married n that stuff but the can't have babies in this game, but if you go tou your dog and have a dog house and put try for offspring AND CHOOSE. YOU ARE DONE.

Remember you have to put in the cheat codes fast not slow for them to work. it should make a noise when you input it correctly XD

It should appear next to your mailbox after you enter the cheat it will make a dinging sound that will tell you if it worked then just stand next to it and press the x button.(after you save & or quit you must enter the cheating gnome and the cheat code in again)

When I build a house I can't put down carpet, what am I doing wrong?

Answers +It may be just a glitch but you can put down carpet.
I found that on fishbone island there is a part where you can't put carpet down this might be a glitch, or bad terrain either way build around it.
It happens jus on the edge of my house on firefly lake its if a dog hes dug holes or summit
On fishbone island theres some squares you cant build on I agree with that other boy or girl maybe it is bad terrain
Go to the pause screen and select build/buy mode and the select build and then select FLOORING
I had the same problem on fishbone island. Its because there is a hole there. before you build your house, find the hole, and click "fill in hole." then you can put carpet on it.
Well it may be the game has crashed or u just dont have all the money for the carpet I had the same problem I just see why it didnt work at all

How do you paint a wall with out painting both the inside and outside wall?

Answers +You go into a room that you want to paint and you hold down R1 and X at the same time and when you want to paint the outside walls of the house you go out of the house and you hold R1 and X at the same time and ta da you did it

Answers +Ok, first of all, there are no kids on the game case. Second, nothing in the instructions says anything about turning werewolf.
You can't turn into a werewolf but it doesn't matter if there is no kids on the front you never know it you can have kids.
Ummmmmmmm...........yeah they say that at night a dog will sometimes come and if it becomes your good friend it bites you on the hand and in an orange flash youll become a werewolf I tried it on the PC but not on the PS2 yet but vampires are different all you have to do is sleep in a coffin but where the heck do I get a coffin !!

You can turn into a werewolf. First you have to have lots of trees in your yard. Second when the werewolf come you have to befriend it and then it will bite you and then you become a werewolf.

YOU can't be a vampire in the Sims 2 Pets for PS2 because you have to get bitten by one!.BUT I heard there is another type of Sims game where there are already some VAMPIRES I SAW IT! (but I don't know you can buy it) as for the werewolf I'm not sure I mean this IS The Sims 2 PETS so there should be animals.

You can go to town square and buy a pet at the store near the entrance or when create your sim at the beginning of the game you can create any pets you want as well

The money cheat isn't the time advance cheat and you don't have to put the time advance cheat in first to make it work. The money cheat is:

The garden swing is under 'SEATING" under object catalog, and you get married bu clicking on the person the clicking 'romantic' then 'propose'

The houses already have roofs you just can't see them. If you put the camera inside the house and look closely at the sim you will see it
Go to build mode and click on the the button that looks like a roof. you can make your own roof, (which I find difficult for me). or you can get a premade roof by clicking on the lower right hand side button and finding the type of roof that fits your house better. and if you don't like the one you clicked on, just click on another.
Zoom in as close as possible then look up ( with your eyes not the cursor ) , you should see a white ceiling . P.S I am right and it works on ps2 how ver you can onlt see the roof from the inside not the outside

That is so silly , you can controll the gost and get a gost. to be a ghost you need to stand in a fire or starve the sim. the only prob is that you can only talk to people and it is not even talking you be sick on them and suff.
You can't control the ghosts... but yes, you can get ghosts. Just kill off one of your Sims. If you do, you'll get the usual ghost of the dead person that will rise from the grave every night like they did in the previous games.

When you want to come back alive there is a grim reaper somewhere around outside you can pay him $100 or do the fiddle challenge .. it's easier to just pay a hundred the fiddle challenge hardly ever worked for me

Atually, you can make repulsive food. If you make a dish, any kind, and you leave it sitting out for a few hours, it will start to stink and a green smoke will come out of it. If you eat it, you'll throw up though.
Actually, you can, but I'm not sure of the exact ingredients. I used four different types of fruit and the blender to make a fruit smoothie once (I used the fruits I had with the least amount of hunger/energy points, as I just needed something small). After I made it I got a pop up message saying something to the effect of "something about looking at this food makes you really angry." I drank it and my bladder level fell so fast I peed myself. Also, if you eat certain stuff raw, you will end up throwing up afterward.

This happened to me once. You could always get rid of the bills. Here is how: Go to the menu. Go to Build/Buy mode and pick up the bills. Select "Sell". It will say, "This item does not belong to you, therefore you cannot sell it. Would you like to just delete the object?" Select "Yes" and there ya go. The words the game says are not exactly the same as I told you, but they are close. If the messages STILL appear, ignore them. Hope I helped!

You can do everything to get the cheat gnome but it will only appear after you unpause the game for a couple seconds. If you heard the chime then the gnome will appear.
Wait a bit and it should come to your house and if you click on it you can get it back
You either call the police, and tell them you lost your pet, or you can wait for it to come back and then make friends with it and adopt it again. It usually comes back.... At least it did for me.

I can help! My friend is the Sims love doctor! Before purposing, you need to get them comfortable. But a swing and let the chat. If your impatient, speed things up. Its R1 I think. When its at 100, get them off the swing. To do this, press L2 and switch between your sims. Then alternate a few times between admire and family kiss. After a while, about 7 or 8 times, go for a romantic kiss. If they dont reject it, go for a perposal. Sometimes that doesnt work but it takes a while. If the girl gets excited, its a total yes! If not, then try again. HOPE THAT HELPS!

When I tried it, it was so awkward! you cant put flooring and I had to move. I think the problem is that the place is sop pose to be a nartural place.
Trust me, this happened to me too. just save your game, reset the console, and it should let you put down flooring.
Ive been looking for the same answer and resetting the console didnt help me. A way I found that works is to put flooring down EVERYWHERE first.
Then make your house and get rid of the excess. It should let you replace it. If not, at least you have some floors :)

Okay, I have the Sims 2 Pets on PS2 and I've upgraded 7/16 places in the town square. I know you can upgrade the Pet Emporium, Toy Store, Bakery, Pet Salon, Coffee Cart, Smoothie Cart, Ice cream cart and Kennel. But how can you possibly upgrade the Coffee, Smoothie, & Ice Cream carts when you can only buy one item at a time. Unlike the Pet Emporium you can buy numerous items at one visit. First of all, you have to really make friends with it, if your relationship status is 40 or less it wont work, second, make sure that it isnt friends with anyone else if the pet likes someone else it wont let you adopt it. once youve taken care of those things you select the stray, go under the special icon, then select take in stray. and bam! youve got a now dog/cat.
If you see a stray cat/dog, play with it and give it snacks,and do other thing with the stray. Once you do all of that you can take it in.

You can't adopt a pet if it'z already owned by someone else, check it'z microchip, if it has a owner than you can't adopt it, but if it sez it has no owner then become good friendz with it, and you should be able to. -Answer by:Jazza 666
If you dont have a pet it takes longer to find a stray because I tried it with someone without a pet and a stray didn't come for a long time(its either that or I am not that patient.....)

Make both sims sit at a table, both of them with high relationships with eachother, and then click the other sim and click "kiss" then "blow kiss"

Get a good relationship with the other Sim and then when you have a good enough relationship go to romantic and it will say propose and then press the X and it won't owrk if the Sim is already married
