A litterbox is for cats to go to poo or pee, for the dog to ahev a litter there must be a girl and a boy dog doesnt matter the type, and they must ahve one of those little dog houses.

Yes, by going to the register office then click on the family, you can edit or even delete the family there.

The only way is to move the family out of the house. Then go to a building in the neighbourhood (normally at the bottom right.) Select edit family - that is the only way.
Yeah, all you gotta do is evict them, then edit them from the Estate Agents. Hope it helps :)

You CAN add and edit sims and pets you've already created (at least on PS2). First move the family out of their current house from the main neighborhood screen (where you chose to build). There is a house at the very right, where you originally created your family, and you want to go back there. Now just edit/add as you please.
The only thing you should know is that when you move your family out of their house all of the furnishings and possessions left there will disappear. The house will stay (same floors, wallpaper, etc). So if your going to edit or add, make sure you have the money cheat handy so you don't have to spend a ton of time making money to buy it all over again.

I need to get my sims motives up and when I try some other ones go down and all of the cheats ive used dont work please help?

If u get a stanless steal fridge and use 4 meats with high energy and hunger then it goes up quite fast if u go to the toilet after eating

Here is the olney thing I know about that go and turn on the tv make a seat above the tv sit on the chouch look at the tv go to powor nap and your sleep sit and your tv video game thing will go up.
I got three of the the first is L1,x,R3,L1,o,x,L3

I was playing for ages with a new family. After a few hours I noticed the cheat gnome with fill all motives option. I have NO IDEA how it got there. I abused the cheat to max all my stats etc. But im just confirming that there IS a fill all motives cheat! I just have no idea what it is, and havent come across it since.
You can make your sims motives up and make them happy. first you have to do is cook a satisfying meal. this one is great my favorite. go find this ingridients, turkey, liama, orange and strawberry. (make tartar) use your food processor to make it easy and less time consuming. you see after they eat, thier hunger and energy will go up fast. -Answer by:paulinette
Don't play the sims just switch to the pet and the sim will do all it needs after about a day he/she should be happy then you can switch back ok I do it all the time

You have to get one of the more expensive fridges. I get the one that looks like it came from the seventies, the most espensive and second expensive have the same things just hte more expensive ine stitisfies more hunger.
Just buy a better fridge! honestly it's that easy, I had exactly the same problem. I just had a spare bit of cash, so I thought I would upgrade my house, so I bought a better fridge1
Go on the pause menu and click on the object and go to aplainces and buythe last frigde there.

Well I dont think u can order food but if u go to the telephone then click services it will sat pizza click that and then it will say it will be an hour then press R1 until it gets there

After you have started the game and created a family, how do go back to the menu that lets you edit your character and pets. I also wanted to CREATE another pet and add it to the family , but how do i do that without creating a different family???

When u make your house and put in furniture you get a wardrobe( in miscandal) and then after u r finished making the house go to the wardrobe and it will let u go and change its clothes
Once you make a family and moved into a house you cant go back and make another unless you move out your family or to get a pat make another family get the code in personal info and have the family you want to have the pet go to town square and go to to pet adoption place and push square and enter the code you saw. :]

1st of all pets do NOT get pregenant. they go into their doggy house and do their buisness then they come out and a puppy or kitten comes in a hot air balloon then you WAIT it is so boring but it is all worth it :)

Unfortunently, you cannot play 2 player in the Sims 2 Pets. If you look on the back of your Disk Case down the bottom, you will see a long strip of infomation. One of the tabs says '1 Player Only.' Really stinks doesn't it?
It sux that you can't have two players. It would have made it alot better!
Actually you can play 2 player on the sims 2 pets on ps2 and here;s how to do it. First of all you know when you start a new game then it goes to the neighbourhood and you choose a place right then after youve finished playing it you save and quit don't you. Well then if you wanna continue tht house you press continue obviously because new game means a whole new neighbourhood so to do 2 player you just press continue and then choose a different place to your friend and then when you save it you will have both saves. Note it doesn't overwrite the first save unless you start a whole new game from the main menu because that means a whole new neighbourhood.
Im sure that doesnt work it states clearly that u cant have 2 player and ive tried all i cant but theres no point coz its only one player

Okay no need to over react you CAN play 2 player on the sims 2 pets I know because my sister and I played in the same house she washed the dog and I made dinner. On the back of the case it says 2 player people.
You can play 2 player, just play in a house 1player that has 2 or more sims in it and make sure a second controller is connected. when you start playing, player 2 needs to press start and then the screen will split and TADA!!! your playing 2 player

Unfortianatly you can only control the sim. but if you hold down L2 and hover on the option of you cat or dog then you will only be able to watch it. i know, it sucks!

It would really be nice if you could move the pets. I mean, why shouldn't we be allowed to. They should have made it so you can control pets. The only answer I can think of for not being able to control them is because pets have minds of their own, but if we can control sims (they have a mind of their own too) then we should be able to control pets, right? ^.^
U cant control the pets because they have their own minds. if u cud control them id tell them to stop digging, peeing and scratching.

To buy a pet you need a certain amount of pet points(usually 200-400) to spend them on a pet you need to go to the town and go into the place where ypu buy pets and then just simply choose the pet you want.

No, you can only have a horse on the computer version. you can also download the farm wich includes pigs,horses,ducks and ducklings, but thats for the computer version. yea ive tried getting a horse on ps2 version (L1,R1,X,circle,square,R1,R1,X,X) but it wont work CUZ its only 4 computer.

To get one: pause the game, go to the buy catalog, go to pet supplies(the 2 pet bowls), you'll see a dog house looking thing, buy one and put it anywhere outside or inside.

You can also get beds from the pet Emporium from the Town Square
Or u can just go 2 da town square to the pet supply shop and update it once then buy all the dog beds u want!
The pet house is a doghouse and if you don't know what a doghouse is then...wow....You get the doghouse at the twon square (you have to have the pet emporium upgraded) or at the buy thingy (I forgot what it's called).
I had this prob as well!!! you have to fully upgrade the emporium and then they will sell cat houses! it is very annoyin but use the pet point cheats and itll work in a flash! then youll get some luvly kittens!
You can also buy the slums pet house in the inventory catalogue at home in the pet category. Thats what I did at first as didnt have enough pet points to get a nice dog house. The cats were okay in the doghouse and had babies.. when I sold the kitten I had enough money to get a proper house and sold the slum one.
The "dog house" is just a pet house for dogs or cats. when you tell them to go do it, they either play or fight before they do it. then they both go to the pet house and you will hear music and see heats coming from the room. if it workd, a baloon wil come through the roof with a little basket on it. if it doesnt work, then make them do it again. it will probably take a few times. god. you guys are stupid if you cant figure all that out on your own.

U need to make sure u have a dog house first that they can go in. It somtimes takes a few times before they will do it anyway. Also make sure the dog gets along with the Sim so it will listen to it.

For money what u need 2 do is to enter the gnome cheat (L1,L1,R1,X,X,Up) and then the Advance 6 Hours cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1). Then go over to the gnome and select it. Dis-select it and then pause the game. Repeat the "Advance 6 Hours" cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1), (Whilst on paused (L1)) and then when you hear a 'Ping!' select the gnome and the cheat should be there! It works for me! Answers +Well, some of them you can get when YOU unlock stuff. Like for instance if you get a certain number of pet points, you'll unlock something. You can then go to whatever you unlocked and the code will be displayed in the top right corner.... or you could just get the codes online.
The codes you enter in the pet purveyers are actually DNA codes from different pets. You can get the DNA codes when you switch charactor to the pet you want to copy(press and hold L2 and use the d-pad to select the pet you want) then press start go to personal profile and press R1 or L1 to go across and you will find a menu with a DNA code at the end! Then you can enter it by pressing square at the 'create/edit a family screen' or at the 'Pet Purveyers buy a pet screen'. If you want a cute white tabby cat I would reccomend this code: 1211-ATRI-A6J1-M11T-ARMB-I19Y

Well it depends om what you want your animal to look like. Say if you wanted it to look like the cat called falafel you have to go on that cats family. Become falafel then click personal info on the start menu under where it says goofy or gifted there will be a gentic code. Write down the code then if you want your animal to look like that go to the pet emporium and press [] then type in the gentic code. :)
Look in the personal info for a pet you already have, then go to the pet profile and on the bottom is a dna code enter that code and you can buy a pet exactly the same as that one.

I had the exact same problem. A way I got around it was first building a path from the front door to the sidewalk and when I went back into the house the flooring worked again.

Ok, for one thing I don't think you can have babys on the sims 2 pets on PS2 or PC(I'm not quite sure about PC though.) because you have to take care of your pets. You can't have a baby. I have tried a zillion things. It is so aggarvating! I got the guide, and it says that pets can "lick a toddler" (sounds gross, i know). I don't understand why not.

You cannot have babies which really sux hopefully they'll make another one and include toddlers or somehting.

MY frend Heath has Sims 2 Pets for PC and she haz had a million cazillion babies! She talked 2 me for 2 hours a few dayz ago trying to explain but it didn't work! But 1 of the tips she gave was buy Fitzroy's Rock Pool it's really a hot tub but put both of yur people in it a boy and a girl, click on the hot tub and if it gives u the option select Cuddle and yur woman SHOULD get pregnant in the hot tub if so music will play!
Click on the two person bed and it will say relax , now make a male and a femalerelax and click and if they love each other it will say try for baby, and you click and if music plays your women is pregnant and every day she will get bigger and in three days she will have the baby
You need to get the Sims 2 for the PC. It has much better building options like 2 story houses and also allows you to create toddlers, have babies, etc. Plus, you can build well over 50 houses on the huge neighborhood lots.
If you have pc heres how........make sure that the male and female have a high enough relationship.then get them 2 relax in a double bed,use 1 sim and click on the other and click cuddle more options will pop up click try 4 baby and there you can also do this in a hottub
By the way this is for sims 2 pets for ps2, when you create you sim you choose what aspiration, well if you choose a family aspiration it says one of the biggest things is a cradle. I havent tried it yet but I think it might work.

No, the onli time u c a policeman is when u call one or if someone passes out n u dont revive them! I dont no whether you can be a police man as ur job but if u can you wont actully go to peoples houses n things!!!
If u go to the town square you with a dog that knows the trick guard and tell it to do guard at the town square a policeman will come and tell you not to do that-warning-youwill be charged some pet points for doing so.
The one above is how to GET a policeman to well arrest you.. no you cannot be a policeman you can only be what ever the jobs are in the newspaper...

There is another way you can become a policeman!!! well kind of like one!!! Go to the newspaper and look at the jobs and if there is a job that was to do with scerutity then choose that one and all u have to do is get promotions and once you get enough a police car will come and pick you up for work!!!
Yes u can first get the highest paying job then press start and click on personal info then go over until you see a calendar that say the letters of the days then there will be a highlighted area were you need to gain some skill point to get promoted and on your 6th promotion you are a police officer and your ride to work changes from a green car to police car hoped I helped

Rubbish you can be a police man as a job on the ps2 start out as a crossing guard and get promtons
I was a police man and I was on the hiest grade ther was to be a please man and ther was a robber passing by my house and it came in handy

I find it really easy to look after my dog. I have a cat, but that's in another family. With my two families, i only have me and 1 pet. When i'm playing, I feed my dog/cat and all, but its SOCIAL is always down! How do I keep it up without having to spend ages doing stuff to it that doesn't even put its SOCIAL up? I've tried taking to the Town Square, but it hardly talks to the other pets! Please help me!

I have the same problem....going to the town square where other dogs are should help otherwise adopt another dog...thats wat worked for me....but the ting is then u have to look after 2 dogs
Thnx, thats a really g8 help! But i found a really REALLY easy way of getting the SOCIAL up and your frienship points. Buy i whizzie bee flying disk from the toy shop at the town square and play with ur dog. YAY! thnx again! xoxo
Just keep on stroking your pet and they will be happy,if you give them a toy and play with them they will have plus sign over their head and they will like you...My pet dog is always happy to see me after i go to work!
To make the social go up, try teaching it some tricks it makes the the sims social go up to green and your pets

The sim's clother are already unlocked.
You need to buy a wardrobe and then can use that anytime to change to whatever clothes are in there.
Here I have the cheat code 2 unlock all the Sims Clothing but u have 2
unlock the cheat gnome first (the cheat gnomes code is L1,L1, R1, X, X, Up Arrow)
And 2 unlock ALL sims clothing the code is..Square, R2, Down Arrow, Right Arrow, Square

Well on pc you buy wat you dont have and when you want NPC clothes open your cheat box rite boolprop testingcheatsenabled true then go to the make-a-family then rite b4 you make a sim press shift N (warning this is only a test cheat it can really mess up your game)
U just go to a pet n if its cat female n a cat male just go to one and go to ask ... to off spring
From what I hear is that you cant have a baby on the sims 2 pets but I dont think anybody knows but if you want to try maybe you should fall in love with someone make them move in then keep romantically kissing that sim then you should try cuddling on things like the swing or in the rock pool!! **~**
You can't have a baby in the sims 2 pets. Only your pet can have a baby. To do this you buy a dog house (for either cat or dog) click on your pet, when it says something about making an offspring, you click on that and then the pets will go in the dog house and make a baby. During this a purple curtin should cover the hole in the dog house.
If you have the pc get the male and female in a double bed (make them relax)and then make them cuddle then you can try for baby but the woman is preg only if you hear music (if you have it a lot in a row successfully the more babies she will have at a time

Your sims cant have a baby---but your PETS can! just have a doghouse ready (even for the cats) and most importantly your pets MUST be in a good mood! They cant be fighting, but they can be different breeds and for the dogs, a big dog and a small dog can mate. Just click on wichever dog or cat and say "try for offspring with..." then tell 'em! At first it doesnt look like they're mating, cause they're acually just playing around, kind of like flirting first. The they get into the dog house. Then listen for the music and sit back and watch cause soon after the mating comes the baby--in a hot air balloon. (If this doesnt work out--try again) Oh, and by the way if you DO want your SIMS to have pets AND babies, all you have to do is get sims2Pets for PC, I know you'll get them then, cause I've been playing for years, and I think I've read about every cheat there is for PC and ps2 sims2 (I'm a big fan If you cant already tell!) Theres a cheat for having as many as six babies in one whole day! (sim babies, that is...)All you have to do is the following: 1. make sure your HAPPY sims can at least make-out. 2. find either a hot tub or a two-person sized bed (if you want your sims to have a public woohoo, just make them go to a community lot and have one person try on clothes in one of the little dressing rooms and have their sweetie follow, sneakily). 3. make them both relax. If your really sick-minded, you can have the same sex woohoo, but bear in mind its the opposite sexs that are going to get a baby. 4. click on the one that says "try for baby", or "woohoo" but remember, woohoos may be fun, but you'll have better results with the try for baby. 5. the party music comes on, but wait till the end! you need to listen for the "doo da da doo doo doo" music at the end to know if your sim is pregnant. Follow these instructions and GOOD LUCK!
