You need to have either two cats/dogs or one to breed with a stray... if your going to have 2 dogs/cats they obviosly need to be both male and female... make your person tlk to the cat/dog and ask to try for offspring with (put dog/cats name here) he same thing works when you ask your cat/dog with a stray but you have to have a dog house... and you have to ask your pet to not the stray!!
You need a Female and Male Cat or Female and Male Dog. You will also need a kennal. The pets must like each other, so have them in the same house. When they are old enough click on one of the pets and choose...Try Offspring with.. (or Somthing like that) then click on the other pets name. You shouldn't be near the Kenal at the time and if they succed then you will hear music and a ballon with a kitten or puppy will appear. **If you have too many people in your house it won't work!
You have to buy a pet house which is 100 simoleons then click on a pet and then on 'try for offspring with' then choose the pet you want it to have a litter with, then they will go in and a little baby will come down in a hot air balloon....
Click on one dog/cat and click try 4 offspring wiv... then clik on da dog/cat u want it 2 av a litter wiv, make sure dey av a house 1st though! (dogs) but I tried it once n my puppi was realli annoying- it always had low motives n kept making this other dog that was in ma house pass out so I kept having 2 revive it! grrrrrrrrr
p.s. dogs onli have 1 puppy (i havent tried cats yet) and its best if da dogs live 2 gether

You need the same breed of animal and they have to be male and female and you need to buy a pet house in the object catalouge and then press one of the animals then select " Try for offspring".
Can u get more then one puppy/kitten at once like two dogs instead of having 1 puppy having

After the Sims Couple gets married in "Sims 2:Pets (PS2)" I can only control 1 of the Sims, the female Sim just wonders around aimlessly! If anyone can help plz let me know, also bothe Sims are created to look like me and my fiance', not Game Generated. Thanks Hope someone knows.. 8-)?

WRONG! this is rite - If you go on the internet for fur pattern cheat, it will have a cheat for the tiger pattern. when your on the create menu press square then type in the fur pattern cheat and then it will unlock the tiger color pattern then choose a cat and go to fur pattern and pick the tiger pattern.
First get a cat try to make it orange give it BLACK stripes
Ry this [I'm making a guess, here..]: Try getting your cat's fur nearest orange as you can. Then get the Zebra Stripes [or the Tiger stripes, although ive never heard of Tiger Stripe Cheat Code] and make them black.. try to make the bottom of the paws white, and make the belly white, too. Then change the body to the biggest, and the tail to the fattest.. and I think that will make a Tiger.

You get it at the Pet shop thing not where you buy pets it has a gold fish thing on top. If you upgrade it 2 or 3 times you will have chicken chechors
O get the Professor Chicken Feather's Checkers, you have to upgrade the Pet Emporium. Trust me, I have it.
It is a game that is just like checkers but instead you play with a chicken and it builds up your logic.
O get this chicken checkers you need to o to the town square and hit the pet toys store or emporium......upgrade them both and in the end you will see in any of these two you will will have a chicken checkers game.......u buy it and win against it you will get an egg which will be availible in your fridge. lolz

The answer that you mean is chicken checkers. you can buy it at the pet empourium in the town square for 750 pet points once uve upgraded the pet empuorium once or twice. it helps you with your logic!

The Chicken checker is in own square, inthe shopp where you can buy pet beds and food and stuff but you have to "up-grade" the store first. And Chicken checkers is checker against a chicken !:P
The checkers gets you golden eggs and logic, at least in the original sims 2 it did, and it is in the fully upgraded pet emporium.

I havent got a cheat to fulfil the skills, but i do know how to get each one of them up three lvls(temperarily).You need a fish tank first and after a while you can harvest the fish. The fish will then apear in the fridge you pick four fish ingrediants and make a dish. This will temperarily boost your stats.
I found this cheat it is really hard to get to but it is L1,X,R3,L1,O,X,L3

The money cheat for sims 2 pets on ps2 is TRIANGLE,UP,LEFT,DOWN,RIGHT. but you have to have the cheat gnome first and when you put in the money code when you have the gnome it well say give simoleons and it will give you 50,000
U get cash by working. Raise the motives by doing what their low motives are like taking a shower. You can just wash your hands over and over until the shower motive is full.
If there is 2 people in ure family just switch to the one that has the highest motives and if only one switch to ure pet
To raise your Sims motives do what it needs most and keep doing it until the motive rises to a color green. To get cash, find a job on the computer or newspaper.
You could do it the hard way, by having the sim eat, shower, sleep, etc. until their motives are full. The easy way is to just enter the max motives cheat during game play: X, X, triangle, square, square, down, down, left, right, right
There are a few ways to raise motives. You can build a separate room outside your house, and in it you can place a refrigerator and a stove, a toilet, shower, something fun such as a small television and a couch or love seat that u can sleep or nap on and make a door and tell your Sim to go into it. If you want to raise your pets motives, do this, buy a telescope, make your sims use it to stargaze, wait for him to be abduct by aliens. when he comes back. check your family inventory you'll see theres a 5pcs of pet food for your pet came from the aliens. use it for feed pet treat. your pets motives will go up high. and the pet will be extreamely lively! -Answer by:paulinette

When you enter town sqare a little screen will pop up and will show him.it cost 10 pet points I beleave(per hour)hopes this helps!

I need to know which shops in town are upgradeable. I have 10/16 upgrades and no matter how much I buy, none of them will upgrade any further. I also tried the Emporium upgrade and it didn't work..I hear the little chime (although it was before I even finished doing the cheat code for it). Am I doing something wrong?

Answers +All the stores are upgradeable. If you haven't tried the pet salon and kennel, they r also upgradeable. Even the coffee, ice-cream and smoothie areas are upgradeable. The pet shop too.
Everything can be upgarded 3 times I think try the coffe carts and ice reams and smothie place the upgrade 3 times each

My dog wants to have a litter of puppies! how do I do that?

Answers +If a female/male dogs want a litter of poochies (lol), your sim has 2 ask one of them to try 4r an offspring with the other gender. It can be ur doggie or another dog for your female or male 2 have puppies.(U need a dog house because it is very private.

I f you want a puppy, you need to make sure you have less than 6 members in your family, and at least 1 boy and 1 girl. Buy a dog house too and go up 2 your pet and select " try for offspring" and another pets name.
The dog needs a mate and a dog house then you make them try for offspring if they have a good enough relationship
First you have to have a dog house, any kind will work. and you have to have ANY dog at your house, even if it's another sims, of the opposite sex and clck on your dog and an option will show up the says try offspring with... and click that and it will give you the option of which dog that's at your house. your dog well go to the other one and they will like play and then they will go to the dog house and music will play and a purple curtain closes and hearts are coming out. and when they are down like several minutes later a puppy will come by hot airballoon

Go to the town square, and into the shop where you can buy animals, and sell some of your pets there.
U cant have more than 6 things in ure house at a time (sims/pets)
You have to give some away so that dog can fufill its want!
Put some of your dogs at the kennel it makes more spaces for ur family but u will have 2 sell the puppy or go get ur dogs and put them back at the kennel(u can't bring all of the dogs to town)
Sounds odd I know, and really its true but if you sing a song to your PS2 really loudly, you can get to have as many pets as you want. I know most of you are thinking yea...right and think I'm out of my mind but it picks up the vibrations u will be the one thanking me!

When your creating a family for a house so they can live in it, when your creating your dog you can choose which type of dog and what gender it is.
Its called something else, a something bull terrier maybe? But if you look, its a pitbull. Just the fancier name for it.
A bull terrior is a bull dog breeded with a now extinct white terrior. they are really expensive in real life. but yeah they do look like a pit bull. you could use that. but I didn't know you could have pitbulls
Go 2 Build/Buy mode on the Pause Menu after selecting Build/Buy Mode
OPtions should come up on your screen there should be a little hand on one of the options select the hand then you should see the little hand on yur screen move the hand to what u want 2 sell then press X and the object u have selected should be moving along with the hand then press Square a little option menu will come on yur skreen it will say
Would you like to sell the selected object then select Yes and the object should be sold and yur money should be returned!

I have a dog house but it's really dirty. Every time I go to clean it the maid or my sim go to the back of the dog house and throw up their hands in frustration. Am I missing something?

Answers +Either your sim isn't happy (they won't clean unless they are in a good mood) or you've placed the dog house somewhere where they can't access it properly. Maybe it's too close to your house - can they walk all the way round it? Try moving it in grab mode.

No. You DON'T select the blue gnome. Whatcha gotta do is use the cheat codes other people have placed above. And trust me you gotta enter the cheat for the gnome fast and round like 20 times ( I know -_-"" it took me FOREVER) and then step back a lil bit and type the money code... Its the same as the advance time one so .... you gotta use that one first. step back so you cant select anything type the same code for money in again and after a few times of hearing the chime it should work. Mind you the gnome should stay put . (and if you go to the town center place the gnome is by the toileets ( I kno I wanna spell it like that xP)

Instead of making a new family when you made 1 already, instead of moving out ur family, editing them, using the code 2 make new pets, coming back 2 your house, finding out that your house is empty and have 2 rebuild it again, just go 2 town square 2 the pet shop and you will see down at the right corner there is a choice saying UNLOCK CODE or TYPE CODE or whatever with square button. Press square and you will have 2 type in the code, press done and new pets will appear with the markings or colour of fur that you typed the code in. buy them and ALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! ^ ^

For pets its a bit different. There is a box with similar things and there is 3 spots for which one you want to change. Theres a box called "PIG-PEN MIDDLE SNOOTY. Your cats has been put on Agressive.
So if I was you I would walk downtown (the sidewalk) and sell the cat at the store in return of a new one. Also, by doing this you will unlock fur color or something for dogs/cats

Hello! I've just started Sims 2 Pets on PS2 and now I am in a bit of a tizzy with washing my dog. My dog keeps jumping out of my bathtub! And it hardly puts any cleaning motive on my dog. Oh dear, please help!?

Ive tried that 2 and it only worked once!n goto the town square instead and wash your dog at the salon...so much easier
Thats nvr happened to me...mayb try editing his personality...or u can bring him to the town square to be washed..it does cost pet points but u can always use the pet points cheat
Make sure all of his other motives are up and then give him a bath or otherwise he's not going to stay in the bath tub
You just need to go into the town and at the shop where you can buy clothes for your pets you can also bath them
Train your dog to stay, just click on the dog and press train and there is a list of stuff you can train your dog and click on stay.
Try to scold it for jumping out of the bath it might take time but it should work, or go to the town square and wash your dog their which costs £50

Just keep calling him into the tub until it is full. Or take it in the tub, start washing, press start, go 2 option menu and fill the bathroom with comic dehydrators or trashcans (in the misc area). You dont buy the gnome you enter L1, L1, R1, X, X, Up( on the pad) and the gnome should show up in your front yard near the sidewalk. To get a pet trainer you buy a pet. Then you go to the Towns Square when your there the pet trainer will wave at you. Go to him and he can train your pets but you have to pay him.

Buy a garden swing from the object catalog. Then go into grab mode and add the garden swing to your inventory. Next go to town square and place the garden swing anywhere. Sit down and call over someone you want to be friends with. Then let them talk and their friendship will reach 100. Wa-la! And you dont have to worry about placing the garden swing back in your inventory it automatically puts it back in. Hope this helps.. I do it all the time.

To get money just get pet points on at the gnome until it gets to 125,000 and buy stuff (not bakery) BRING IT BACK, PUT IT ON YOUR LOT, GO TO GRAB MODE and sell, you will get tons of money!

I dont Know the cheat fo motives but you can buy a hot spring bathtub and it will fill confort hiegyne and fun and the u use this ingridient ostrich, eel, dangleberry, and shark then you walk up to the food processor and click prep barbaque sausage and then u go to a stove( if u use a grill it wont be very affective to u) and select make barbaque sausage and eat it it will have hearts on top it gives me alot of hunger like 100 or sumin I forget and it gives u 100 energy I have my sim eat it all the time it works better than coffee and its not even a drink!
To fill all your pet's motives buy a telescope.Wait for night and then go use the telescope. You'll eventually get abducted by aliens. Once you get home you go to your pet and say "give pet treat". Then there will be a new treat called an "alien". Feed the alien to your dog or cat and it's motives will fill up.

Well I had a family of 5 when I played and I just switched to my pet and switched back to my sim later and their motives wre better than how left em!!
I dont think there is a cheat for it but if you press select your sim will start doing eveything. give it a go, it works but its a bit boring. (note: even if the food bar is just a bit down, they will eat and they dont like to sleep, so you might wanna do it yourself

There isn't a cheat gnome if u havent entered the cheat for it is there. The cheat is L1(2) R1 X2 and finally up.
When you enter the code it will usually appear around your mail box in the front of your lot.
After you have put in the code, the cheat gnome will appear next to the letter box. hope that helps :-)

Sometimes I think doing the whole family thing takes 4 ever so I just select the house I want and press Enter House it is SO much easier than building yur house or putting in yur furniture or making yur family!
Heres something that might help if its the fact that you are not sure what buttons to use then the left anolog stick moves your furniture around the R1 and L1 buttons rotate your furniture when building walls press x and draw a wall when your happy press x again and you have your wall if it helps go into grid mode by pressing circle and then you can use the d pad u when doing the wall paper or floorin select your wall paper from the menu and move the left anolog stick so the icon is in the room you want to decorate then hold R1 and press x and its done if you find it eisier you can use grid mode to help you get the furniture in the place u want it in you cannot use grid mode when wallpapering though
All you have to do is move into a house that reddy has furni and stuff and then you just editb the family even if that means removing each member e at a time.you can now make youre own family with your house pre- furnished.
Go into one of the premade houses and kill everybody, then you will also get their furniture!

This one worked on me.first,while playing the game,put in the gnome code which is L1,L1,R1,X,X,up,then press up,left,down,right,R1 then click on the gnome,it should say advance time by six hours.then hold the tringle down while holding,push in up,left,down,right,R1.then click on the gnome again.this should work
The money cheat is triangle, up, left, down, right. enter after gnome is on.
If u cant b botherd to do the advance time thing - which dont work! - Then do th nome cheat then do triangle, up, left, down, right for 10,000$ each time u select it!

Ok, for Sims 2 pets ps2 first you need to unlock knome.
TRIANGLE, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT
Then go over to it and it will say: "GIVE SIM SIMOLINS." Keep pressing that. Then you get a bunch of $$$$

All you r wrong by a swig and go 2 town sq and go inventory, brab swing then place on the ground ( does not matter whr you put it). After sit on swing and call over anyone and become friends with everybody and you have townies! I repet you all r wrong! welcome!

Where do the strays come from? Coz I have to take one in to achieve a goal and I've never seen a stray or the microchip at all!

Answers +Frist, be mean to your pet for example dont play with it and take away all comfy things by going to buil mode then select the grabber now click on the chairs (your dog needs them but you want it to run away frist)and pet dish now just ignore it after a bit (not that long) it chould run away now what you do is next time it comes to your place press x when you walk up to it and selkect take in stray. any q's that need a's? mistybabe282@hotmail.com
They come from the green arrow on the side walk. u have to get to know the stray first. then the option check microchip will apear it will tell u if the pet has a owner or not. if it doesnt then u will be able to take in the stray=) ps. the strays wont come if u have a srtay away sign.
To get a stray never get stray away sign have another family with cat or dog and make it unhappy when he leaves go to other fam. it will take a few days soon it will come

No, you dont need a code, but I bought a lot and then the pet trainer came. But when I want the pet trainer to train my pet he says ny pet is moody.

The toy store, the bakery, the pet store (where you buy dogs and cats), the pet shop (supplies), the coffee stand, the smoothie stand, the icecream stand, the pet washing place. each will upgrade twice

U can upgrade the saloon 2 times, toy store twice, bakery twice, emporium twice, the pet purveyors twice, the coffe cart twice, ice cream cart twice, smoothie shack twice. they are the upgrades that will show up on the town square info thing and help you, but the boarding kennel upgrades, the fountain upgrades, the statue upgrades and I think thats it
