Instead of making a new family when you made 1 already, instead of moving out ur family, editing them, using the code 2 make new pets, coming back 2 your house, finding out that your house is empty and have 2 rebuild it again, just go 2 town square 2 the pet shop and you will see down at the right corner there is a choice saying UNLOCK CODE or TYPE CODE or whatever with square button. Press square and you will have 2 type in the code, press done and new pets will appear with the markings or colour of fur that you typed the code in. buy them and ALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! ^ ^

Well in the begining of the game you can make your own pet, by doing that there is horroscope signs. If your not satisfied by what it comes up with try moving down and replacing some of those green boxes into like ACTIVE or PLAYFULL.
For pets its a bit different. There is a box with similar things and there is 3 spots for which one you want to change. Theres a box called "PIG-PEN MIDDLE SNOOTY. Your cats has been put on Agressive.
So if I was you I would walk downtown (the sidewalk) and sell the cat at the store in return of a new one. Also, by doing this you will unlock fur color or something for dogs/cats

Hello! I've just started Sims 2 Pets on PS2 and now I am in a bit of a tizzy with washing my dog. My dog keeps jumping out of my bathtub! And it hardly puts any cleaning motive on my dog. Oh dear, please help!?

Go to the town square and go to the salon. click wash pet (50 pet points) and click again. u will enter the salon with ur dog and come out and he/she will be all clean!!
Ive tried that 2 and it only worked once!n goto the town square instead and wash your dog at the salon...so much easier
Thats nvr happened to me...mayb try editing his personality...or u can bring him to the town square to be washed..it does cost pet points but u can always use the pet points cheat
Make sure all of his other motives are up and then give him a bath or otherwise he's not going to stay in the bath tub
You just need to go into the town and at the shop where you can buy clothes for your pets you can also bath them
Train your dog to stay, just click on the dog and press train and there is a list of stuff you can train your dog and click on stay.
Try to scold it for jumping out of the bath it might take time but it should work, or go to the town square and wash your dog their which costs £50
Your friendship has to be up to 100 otherwise it will not work! I hope this helps .x.

It also helps if yer dog's personality is not set on pigpen. It won't want to be clean. If it's snooty, it will stay in the tub.
Make sure that your friendship is high or if dat dont help go to the town square and go to the salon. it is 50 pet pionts which i no is expensive but trust me, its worth it!

I think it may do with the relationship with your dog... also if it is pigpen or not! but it is easyst if you use the salon!
Just keep calling him into the tub until it is full. Or take it in the tub, start washing, press start, go 2 option menu and fill the bathroom with comic dehydrators or trashcans (in the misc area). Make sure there are no puddles. Easy. Then ur poochy will be as sparkly as a...a...um...as anything sparkly! Lol! And if u want 2 prevent it from being stinky like cheese, buy alot of landscape flowers and trees so it can poo there without being stinky like cheese. Lollol!:) TRY it! It works like accountin'!

I have a dog in my game but it keeps getting really tired. It sits there moaning about how tired it is, but I'm not sure how to tell it to go nto it's house or lie down! It won't do it for itself! What do I do to make the stupid thing sleep?!?

If ure dog runs away then u can ring survices and go to the option of look for pet(something like that) then the survice will try and find ure pet!
If its been sleepin outside try putting a bed outside or a bench or somin like that. Mabey you could build your house outside, put your fridge and that outside ( remember to put your bath and toilet inside a room). Hope that helps :o) Hint from Sim fan

Try buying it a pet bed or couch, or something, I know, you have to b very patient with sims games, they're VERY aggrivating lol

Answers +You dont have to buy a cheat knome.. all you have to do is push these buttons on your ps2 controller... L1,L1,R1,X,X,up(on D-pad) it will be somewhere on your front yard I dont think you can get an animal trainer
You don't BUY the cheat gnome. You enter the code L1,L1, R1, X, X, Up when you are home or on a lot. hope that helps ya ;)
Enter the cheat for it (L1,L1,R1,X,X,up) a small gnome will then appear on your path! To get a pet trainer you go to the town square and SOMTIMES not every time but sometimes a pet trainer will wave his arms at you then you walk to him select him then press respond he will tell you about his buisness and his cost ( wich is $20) per hour.
Its easy find the cheat on the internet and you can get a pet trainer. but your pet needs to be really happy. btw you find him in the town square if u stay long enough

You dont buy the gnome you enter L1, L1, R1, X, X, Up( on the pad) and the gnome should show up in your front yard near the sidewalk. To get a pet trainer you buy a pet. Then you go to the Towns Square when your there the pet trainer will wave at you. Go to him and he can train your pets but you have to pay him.
I don't know where ppl use that but the gnome cheat is triangle up left down rigth

When your see a stray dog and you want to adopt it, check itz microchip and if it sez it has a owner then you can't adopt it you can only report a lost pet by the phone but if the pet has no owner then you should be able to selct something on the pet that sez 'special' and it should say 'take in stray' or something like that. -Answer by:Jazza 666
Well first you have to make a stray and you do that by making a family but don't feed the pets then they will get very hungry and run away and then if you see the pet play together and feed him treats and spend a lot of time together then something will say check microchip and sometimes it will say it is your then you take in stray

If your talking about town square you cant make it bigerr but can upgrade it buy buying everythin they sell.
You have to be freinds first and then a slot for romantic pops up and then do not start with serenade because things could go wrong and mess up the entire relationship.so you have to use family kiss in freindly a few times and then you check in romantic and if you have first kiss select it.

Answers +Well without a cheat its harder but if you want people to fall in love with u quickly then i would first be in a good mood. then invitie the person u want 2 fall in love with 2 your house. but first make a group meal so that person can eat because they get hungry fast. once u do that then let them do something fun and then you could talk 2 them, because its all about the mood because if theyre in a bad mood then they will reject pretty much anything so entertain them because i sort of notice every time i talk 2 some1 and they like the stuff i say then a little bit of their mood increases but not all the time so thats the best way 2 make some1 fall in love with u quickly well try it out and hope it works
Easy!Eiether buy a couch or the Rock Hot Tub, get in, call your lover, then surround the couch/ hot tub with trash cans. wait till they start talking then wait till the relashionship gets to a hundred, take the trash cans away, then ask her for a first kiss in romantic, then ask her to move in (if they aren't already) then propose!
How do you access trashcans? I am having problems with an overflowing trashcan. I thought if I bought one, it might solve the problem.

This 1 may take at least 2 minutes but it alwayz works 4 me! Select your person and make sure they're in a GOOD mood the color green or yellow then select Nice on a person hit admire till Family Kiss pops up on yur screen keep hitting it till yur relationship points r all the way to a 100 and then propose if u want 2 have more relationship points all in 1 Go to Romantic and hit (if it's there) First Kiss, Tender Kiss, Romantic Hug, or Romantic Kiss. If u have Romantic Kiss it builds yur points up the fastest

I saw this get a swing chair have the couple sit in it till it is 100 =-)
Buy a garden swing from the object catalog. Then go into grab mode and add the garden swing to your inventory. Next go to town square and place the garden swing anywhere. Sit down and call over someone you want to be friends with. Then let them talk and their friendship will reach 100. Wa-la! And you dont have to worry about placing the garden swing back in your inventory it automatically puts it back in. Hope this helps.. I do it all the time.

To get money just get pet points on at the gnome until it gets to 125,000 and buy stuff (not bakery) BRING IT BACK, PUT IT ON YOUR LOT, GO TO GRAB MODE and sell, you will get tons of money!

I dont Know the cheat fo motives but you can buy a hot spring bathtub and it will fill confort hiegyne and fun and the u use this ingridient ostrich, eel, dangleberry, and shark then you walk up to the food processor and click prep barbaque sausage and then u go to a stove( if u use a grill it wont be very affective to u) and select make barbaque sausage and eat it it will have hearts on top it gives me alot of hunger like 100 or sumin I forget and it gives u 100 energy I have my sim eat it all the time it works better than coffee and its not even a drink!
To fill all your pet's motives buy a telescope.Wait for night and then go use the telescope. You'll eventually get abducted by aliens. Once you get home you go to your pet and say "give pet treat". Then there will be a new treat called an "alien". Feed the alien to your dog or cat and it's motives will fill up.

If you do alot of their wants and needs the green on the side of the screen will turn to platinum and your motives will not go down so quick

When you click the UP arrow on your controler it will show "motives" these are the toilet sign and the shower sign. If they are on green you dont need to worry about it. If its yellow, you need to do anything to make that go back up to green ASAP.
Example: Your sims shower level is yellow, Make the sim take a shower. If they are sleepy and walking droopy, go to sleep.

Well I had a family of 5 when I played and I just switched to my pet and switched back to my sim later and their motives wre better than how left em!!
I dont think there is a cheat for it but if you press select your sim will start doing eveything. give it a go, it works but its a bit boring. (note: even if the food bar is just a bit down, they will eat and they dont like to sleep, so you might wanna do it yourself
This isnt really an answer but I just want to tell this dude something have you even played the game the food meter goes down to red in about 8 minutes and people want to play the game not sit around and look at the motives meter it takes about 5 plates of food to turn it yelow so if you havent played the game dont tell us we dont know anything if you dont know about the game.oh yeah try this it once woirked for me l1,x,r3,l1,o,x,l3 notice how I said once

There isn't a cheat gnome if u havent entered the cheat for it is there. The cheat is L1(2) R1 X2 and finally up.
When you enter the code it will usually appear around your mail box in the front of your lot.
After you have put in the code, the cheat gnome will appear next to the letter box. hope that helps :-)
After u put in the cheat if u dont hear a ding sound its not there it usualy takes more than one time

Answers +XD That really sucks, becasue the main reason I like playing the Sims 2 games is building the houses. I love building elaborate houses. : D You could probably move into a house with a pre-made family, and I think you'll have all the furniture and stuff, other than that, you're screwed. Maybe you could have a friend do it for you?

Sometimes I think doing the whole family thing takes 4 ever so I just select the house I want and press Enter House it is SO much easier than building yur house or putting in yur furniture or making yur family!
Heres something that might help if its the fact that you are not sure what buttons to use then the left anolog stick moves your furniture around the R1 and L1 buttons rotate your furniture when building walls press x and draw a wall when your happy press x again and you have your wall if it helps go into grid mode by pressing circle and then you can use the d pad u when doing the wall paper or floorin select your wall paper from the menu and move the left anolog stick so the icon is in the room you want to decorate then hold R1 and press x and its done if you find it eisier you can use grid mode to help you get the furniture in the place u want it in you cannot use grid mode when wallpapering though
All you have to do is move into a house that reddy has furni and stuff and then you just editb the family even if that means removing each member e at a time.you can now make youre own family with your house pre- furnished.
Go into one of the premade houses and kill everybody, then you will also get their furniture!

Firstly, make sure you have 2 dog homes, the both usually need to sleep at the same time so it helps if you get 2. make sure you have lots of flowers and plants outside because this is were they like going to the toilet. they pass out because they arnt happy at all, just like sims. hope this helps!

Well you might need a hedge or tree for the potty. To sleep you need a chair, bed or basket and you need to revive them when they pass out

They come from the green arrow on the side walk. u have to get to know the stray first. then the option check microchip will apear it will tell u if the pet has a owner or not. if it doesnt then u will be able to take in the stray=) ps. the strays wont come if u have a srtay away sign.
To get a stray never get stray away sign have another family with cat or dog and make it unhappy when he leaves go to other fam. it will take a few days soon it will come

The money cheat code I got is for the PS2. You have to have the cheat gnome first. Then you hit the buttons R1, L1, R2, then right, then left, but you have to put this code in fast or it won't work. After you put in the code you click on the cheat gnome and select the cheat from the menu.
For money what u need 2 do is to enter the gnome cheat (L1,L1,R1,X,X,Up) and then the Advance 6 Hours cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1). Then go over to the gnome and select it. Dis-select it and then pause the game. Repeat the "Advance 6 Hours" cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1), (Whilst on paused (L1)) and then when you hear a 'Ping!' select the gnome and the cheat should be there! It works for me! You cannot have a baby on the sims 2 pets. Personaly i think that the developers have limited the amount of things that you can do on this game, i know the main point is the pets but that isnt anything too specail either all you can get is cats and dogs!!!

Maybe she can't get to all of the objects you want her to clean. But she isn't a repair man so she won't fill in holes or fix anything. Maybe after she is gone you and your pets make a mess, she only comes once a day
Sometimes if you have a really messy sim, that has stuff all over the house, she runs out of time, or if you get in her way of something she doesent do it. my sugjestion to you is to take some time out of your day and jest clean alittle, then she will do everything else

It doesmt work that cheat and im gunna die if i dont get a money or fill motives cheats coz it makes it hard coz i gotta look after myself aswell as the pets and i need money to buy more things coz the jobs are crap pay so i hope someone finds them cheats soon or ill die lol
To fulfill the hunger need go to the town square then go 2 the tiolet after ur tiolet motive is right up go to the drinking fountin and drink untill your hunger motive is up then go to the tiolet again after you have done that go to the big display fountain a splash till your higene motive is up splashing in the fountain will also put your fun up after you have done that powernap on the bench this will put up sleep and comfert motives all you need to do now is socialise and after you have done that go home and get a job that way you will earn some money
Firstly you need the gnome code (L1, L1, R1, X, X, UP). then after this, during gameplay, type in the code, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, R1. this code is the same code as advancing 6 hours so this is when it starts to get hard. once you've done that code hover and click over the gnome. then exit it. After this you need to type in the same code again. it's pretty tricky so if it dosen't work first time just keep on trying. good luck x

This is a hint and it may help u 2 fill your hunger motives up. U have 2 plant the frood trees in your garden or the front of your house and wait a coulpe of days till the fruit is on the tress, select one of the trees and it will say "Water Garden
Look at Garden
Harvest Fruit" Then select the "Harvest Fruit" And your sim will now be picking the fruits out of the tree with a basket in their hands.
The Fruit will automatically go 2 your Fridge. So go 2 your Fridge and go 2 "Get Ingredients" and then go 2 "Add Ingredients" then of course, it will show u a selection of meat. Up,Left,Down,Right,R1 works but it also works for the Advance 6 hours so the best one to use is Triangle,Up,Left,Down,Right !

Well there's a cheat for pet points if u dont have that 1. u put in triangle, circle, x, square, L1, and R1, theres another but doesnt work so i cant tell u. i looked everywhere for a fill all motives cheat and a money cheat and i found a site u could go to it has the max all motives and infinit money the is pro g.com the cheat is long guess i can tell u what it is. FIRST u go to the pause menu then you go to this cheat typing thing i dont no what it says but youll figure it out, but once u get there you put in B3DVQ20DVBWGT-Q98PEWFYYB3BV-VKQTRZTMXECNY. i dont no if you put in the whole thing or the parts i divided, but try it out if u can its 4 max all motives. thats All im gonna say u need to do the rest well thats it later and hope the cheats work because i spent about 2 hours just to get those cheats

Sometimes it just comesback select it select check microchip hen get the right sim who owns it and selact it again and it will say take in stray

The police will come to ure door and say they found ure pet and they say glad to help.
You can use the phone in the game
When you see the your pet that ran away greet it and go to special.It should say check microchip and then it will say the owner then click take in stray
There is several ways to do this. One way is to Use your phone and say Report lost pet and the police will tell you and bring your doggie or cat when they fine him, so make sure you dont mute the gme and answer your phone when it rings. You dont have to worry about fast forwarding because there is a funky sound. The othway is to check the microchip nder special and then if the owner is yur husband or wife or sis or bro or roommate or someone who lives with you change to them. After that, you could just say take in stray under special and you have yur baby back!!
If your pet runs away then u can go to the phone scroll down then it will say report a lost pet then they will look for it then it will come back in about an hour
When he runs away he will come back as a stay so feed him and give love until it lets u keep him because it happend to me my dog ran away he came back as a stray so I gave the dog love fed him taught him new tricks and them there was a buttom saying speciale so I pressed it and it said move in and then it let me keep him so I dont let him im my room because he rips the bed but dont shout aulse youl never get him back again xxx

Sadly no you cant, i have tried it and the only thing you can do is watch what they do, to do this all you need to do is hit L1, and then it gives you a choice of who to be or watch(dog/cat). zyou choose who you want to be or you choose to watch one of your pets! And if your sim is to sad, or thats what you think, hit select and your sim will do what it wants or needs on its own.

No u can't dude! But it's better! U can at least watch what ur poochie or eenie beenie kitty is doing! Grab some popcorn while you watch it! And when you switch 2 ur sim after u r bored, look aside! Ur sim's motives are already FILLED! Instead of having a cheat 4r max all motives, try this! You can fill up ur tum with poporn as well as ur sim's! It's cool!

The monkey paw is in the couch you have to sit on the couch first then press search there is no Guarantee that you will find the monkey paw first off you may have to search the coauch a long time but when you find it, it will randomly pick one of your motives and fill it completly!!!
