Okay since these people seem to no well..nothing ill help.
When you click the UP arrow on your controler it will show "motives" these are the toilet sign and the shower sign. If they are on green you dont need to worry about it. If its yellow, you need to do anything to make that go back up to green ASAP.
Example: Your sims shower level is yellow, Make the sim take a shower. If they are sleepy and walking droopy, go to sleep.
the cheats on this page do not work as they should but maybe god will make his way with you.
I dont think there is a cheat for it but if you press select your sim will start doing eveything. give it a go, it works but its a bit boring. (note: even if the food bar is just a bit down, they will eat and they dont like to sleep, so you might wanna do it yourself
This isnt really an answer but I just want to tell this dude something have you even played the game the food meter goes down to red in about 8 minutes and people want to play the game not sit around and look at the motives meter it takes about 5 plates of food to turn it yelow so if you havent played the game dont tell us we dont know anything if you dont know about the game.oh yeah try this it once woirked for me l1,x,r3,l1,o,x,l3 notice how I said once

XD That really sucks, becasue the main reason I like playing the Sims 2 games is building the houses. I love building elaborate houses. : D You could probably move into a house with a pre-made family, and I think you'll have all the furniture and stuff, other than that, you're screwed. Maybe you could have a friend do it for you?
Sometimes I think doing the whole family thing takes 4 ever so I just select the house I want and press Enter House it is SO much easier than building yur house or putting in yur furniture or making yur family!
Heres something that might help if its the fact that you are not sure what buttons to use then the left anolog stick moves your furniture around the R1 and L1 buttons rotate your furniture when building walls press x and draw a wall when your happy press x again and you have your wall if it helps go into grid mode by pressing circle and then you can use the d pad u when doing the wall paper or floorin select your wall paper from the menu and move the left anolog stick so the icon is in the room you want to decorate then hold R1 and press x and its done if you find it eisier you can use grid mode to help you get the furniture in the place u want it in you cannot use grid mode when wallpapering though
All you have to do is move into a house that reddy has furni and stuff and then you just editb the family even if that means removing each member e at a time.you can now make youre own family with your house pre- furnished.
Firstly, make sure you have 2 dog homes, the both usually need to sleep at the same time so it helps if you get 2. make sure you have lots of flowers and plants outside because this is were they like going to the toilet. they pass out because they arnt happy at all, just like sims. hope this helps!

They come from the green arrow on the side walk. u have to get to know the stray first. then the option check microchip will apear it will tell u if the pet has a owner or not. if it doesnt then u will be able to take in the stray=) ps. the strays wont come if u have a srtay away sign.
To get a stray never get stray away sign have another family with cat or dog and make it unhappy when he leaves go to other fam. it will take a few days soon it will come

U can upgrade the saloon 2 times, toy store twice, bakery twice, emporium twice, the pet purveyors twice, the coffe cart twice, ice cream cart twice, smoothie shack twice. they are the upgrades that will show up on the town square info thing and help you, but the boarding kennel upgrades, the fountain upgrades, the statue upgrades and I think thats it
If that weird noise is deep, your doing nothing wrong.
Maybe it is because whenever you do the gnome somewhere different, it appears in a different place.
For Example, at Home, it appears on your lawn, opposite side of the mail box. At the Park, it appears by the bathroom closest to the sidewalk.
Well listen to the noise and if its a negative sound then you did the cheat wrong but if its an positive sound then it should appear just listen to the noise.......and you'll know

The money cheat code I got is for the PS2. You have to have the cheat gnome first. Then you hit the buttons R1, L1, R2, then right, then left, but you have to put this code in fast or it won't work. After you put in the code you click on the cheat gnome and select the cheat from the menu.
For money what u need 2 do is to enter the gnome cheat (L1,L1,R1,X,X,Up) and then the Advance 6 Hours cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1). Then go over to the gnome and select it. Dis-select it and then pause the game. Repeat the "Advance 6 Hours" cheat (Up,Left,Down,Right,R1), (Whilst on paused (L1)) and then when you hear a 'Ping!' select the gnome and the cheat should be there! It works for me! To fulfill the hunger need go to the town square then go 2 the tiolet after ur tiolet motive is right up go to the drinking fountin and drink untill your hunger motive is up then go to the tiolet again after you have done that go to the big display fountain a splash till your higene motive is up splashing in the fountain will also put your fun up after you have done that powernap on the bench this will put up sleep and comfert motives all you need to do now is socialise and after you have done that go home and get a job that way you will earn some money

This is a hint and it may help u 2 fill your hunger motives up. U have 2 plant the frood trees in your garden or the front of your house and wait a coulpe of days till the fruit is on the tress, select one of the trees and it will say "Water Garden
Look at Garden
Harvest Fruit" Then select the "Harvest Fruit" And your sim will now be picking the fruits out of the tree with a basket in their hands.
The Fruit will automatically go 2 your Fridge. So go 2 your Fridge and go 2 "Get Ingredients" and then go 2 "Add Ingredients" then of course, it will show u a selection of meat. But it gets even better, go 2 "Harvested Fruits" and it has all the fruits there. Select the Apples, Bananas, Strawberries and Cherries (IN THAT ORDER).Then u shud see that u have filled up the ingredients selection. Then press "Ok" and make a Fruit Smoothie with the food prosessor. Then it will show u how good it is for u 2 eat. At the bottom of this window, it shud say that it is perfect and their shud be either Red or Black Hearts coming out of it or Stars. Then u have 2 drink it then your sim will have Red or Black hearts or Stars coming out of it's head! NOTE: U can also do the same with Meat,Vegatables and the Golden Egg.

If you have a sim with no pets or if you need some quick money and motives use the pets points cheat and live in the towns square.It has everything, bathrooms for bladder, the big fountain for hygiene and fun, benches for power naps,food stands for hunger, and people to socialize with.using the pets point cheat also means you can buy stuff and then sell it from your inventory.
The cheat for money is X,X,Triangle,Circle,Up,Down,Left,Right,left,And The cheat for Motives is X,X,Triangle,Square,Square,Down,Down,Left,Right,Right. ( But You should probly get a job.)

When you see the your pet that ran away greet it and go to special.It should say check microchip and then it will say the owner then click take in stray
There is several ways to do this. One way is to Use your phone and say Report lost pet and the police will tell you and bring your doggie or cat when they fine him, so make sure you dont mute the gme and answer your phone when it rings. You dont have to worry about fast forwarding because there is a funky sound. The othway is to check the microchip nder special and then if the owner is yur husband or wife or sis or bro or roommate or someone who lives with you change to them. After that, you could just say take in stray under special and you have yur baby back!!
If your pet runs away then u can go to the phone scroll down then it will say report a lost pet then they will look for it then it will come back in about an hour
When he runs away he will come back as a stay so feed him and give love until it lets u keep him because it happend to me my dog ran away he came back as a stray so I gave the dog love fed him taught him new tricks and them there was a buttom saying speciale so I pressed it and it said move in and then it let me keep him so I dont let him im my room because he rips the bed but dont shout aulse youl never get him back again xxx
Sadly no you cant, i have tried it and the only thing you can do is watch what they do, to do this all you need to do is hit L1, and then it gives you a choice of who to be or watch(dog/cat). zyou choose who you want to be or you choose to watch one of your pets! And if your sim is to sad, or thats what you think, hit select and your sim will do what it wants or needs on its own.
No u can't dude! But it's better! U can at least watch what ur poochie or eenie beenie kitty is doing! Grab some popcorn while you watch it! And when you switch 2 ur sim after u r bored, look aside! Ur sim's motives are already FILLED! Instead of having a cheat 4r max all motives, try this! You can fill up ur tum with poporn as well as ur sim's! It's cool!

The monkey paw is in the couch you have to sit on the couch first then press search there is no Guarantee that you will find the monkey paw first off you may have to search the coauch a long time but when you find it, it will randomly pick one of your motives and fill it completly!!!
U either have 2 move out your familee, then delete them and make a new family er you have 2 delete the pet and make it over again and then you have 2 move the family back in. its a very LONG prosess-

I know its really wierd. It wont work for me either.
But if your looking for a quik way to upgrade it the best thing to do is unlock the cheat gnome, then unlock the money cheat.
After your finished makin money go buy as much as you can from the store, and it will upgrade. This works on every store.
Also dont buy dog beds or food bowls, buy food because then it wont take up room in your inventory.

It does work, I went to the town square. Fist of all, hold R2 and enter in the cheat gnome cheat: L1, L1, R1,X,X,Up.
Then go up to it outside the town square bathrooms and enter in,
Right ,up,right,down and keep repeatin that till you hear a happy ding noise! then go straight into the pet emporium and feast your eyes on all the new tottally slamin stuff in there! Courtzxxx
P.S if that doesnt work there might be a slight chance that ur:
a) usin a PS1 controller which DOES NOT work
or
b) your not doin it fast enough(do Cheat gnome or pet emp. cheat in 5 secs or less!)

Yeah, well its weird cause when my pet is completely happy, and alot of it's goals were completed he STILL says it's in a bad mood, and it gets so agrivating!! but if you just adopt a pet, and all their motives are halfway and its happiness is yellow, he'll agree to train them.... I hate it! lol

Click on your bath tub. It should say "Wash Pet..." if you click on that, it should give you a list of your pet's names. Click on the pet's name that you want to bathe. Or for 50 Pet Points at the Town Square, you can click on the Salon, and it will say "Wash..." And again it will give you a list, you pick the pet and so on.
A2:
Go to the bath and press x then 2 options come up-take a bath or wash pet-choose wash pet and it will work. Or you could just go to the town square and wash your pet in the pet salon for 50 pet points!!!

She told me that you have to buy a couple of trees (depends on how much dogs you have) and put it anywhere in your yard. I tried it and now my dog(s) don't pee in the yard anymore! You have to keep scolding it until it says NO PEE learned or something like that. and it'll use the mailbox as a wee spot. so you dont have to clean it.

Let me tell you the very best thing to do I would say you should get rid of all trees and bushes in your yard. next go into object catolog and into outdoor decorations and select the flamingo and place about 4 on your lawn then your dog will pee on it and all of its bladder meter will fill up and there no puddles
I don't think it's such a big deal that they go outside. Just be sure they don't dig holes. I've seen dogs go on the mailboxes, and yes, trees work also. I figure, as long as they're not going inside, I'm happy.
U cannot get a hotdog machine you have to buy hedges for your dogs to go to the bathroom and the michrochips are already installed but to adopt a dog you have to be friends with it
You do not have to get hedges for your dogs they will go anywhere and the hot dog machine is in the town square and to get to it you get out of yur house and go to the side walk there you will see a green arrow stand on it and press x that will get you to town square.
- You can't get a hot dog machine
- Dogs will pee anywhere! They may pee inside your house, but you can scold them for that. Usually, they'll just pee by the mailbox.
- Microchips are already installed.

Of course yo, that's y it says unlock all objects. But, there is also a unlock all clothing cheat too, but if you dont know it, sorry cus I forgot the cheat for it. U might just be lucky and find it somewhere.

Well heres the thing I definateley know you can unlock this in TheSims2 when you get a certain amount of aspiration points but I just got this game but I know everyone is asking this q so I believe you either unlcock it very late in the game or you just dont get it at all :( I love that bed lol hope it helped

You need to enter L1,L1,R1,x,x.up on d-pad once again. Then after you have entered the code look around your yard and there should be a lillte garden gnome. After that enter a simeloan code and, then go to the gnome and press x several time and you should get much more money.
Before you press the L1 thing you must press triangle. (or if doesnt work hold it while pressing the cheat). I had same problem until a friend said to press triangle

I use Shark, Lobster, Dangleberry, and Bok ? (forget what it's called, but you have to have garden hutch and aquarium for these items). Then I make Kebobs. It gives you food hearts, PLUS it will fill your hunger and sleep meters, unless they are almost empty, but still fills them alot. But be ready to use the toilet, and that is with having the meter full when you start to eat! -Answer by:neenie
