The boss of the ruins is a golem you will need a high defense if you want the battle to be fun . but the easy way is to hit and run.
Just cook at least 5 udon and get your defense up so you can defeat the golem.

Did Sabrina already tell you about the Stoller Chalice if it's not, go to the church at 9:00 am and you see neumann talk to him until he said some thing about Sabrina talk to Sabrina at her house at 9:00 am in the holiday. If you are referring to the ruins you will need to grow something in the plots of land and when it is ready to pick the doors to open. Also the blessing of the land is somthing you grow in the patches of land.
You can get a sleeping bag, in the first cave Carmite. When you are close to the boss, Zavier should come & talk to you and give you a sleeping bag.
Just before you enter the bosses lair in Carmite Cave, Zavier will have a talk with you, then give you a sleeping bag
First dungeon
You will get the sleeping bag in the first cave when zavier will come when you are close to the boss wich is just a little bit down just keep going pass the ants then you will walk into a door and see little critters and kill the machine then go through the door first go to sleep ti get full health then go through the door then kill the boss to equip you sleeping bag hit l+b then let go of l and go left or right when you find your sleeping bag hit b then hit b again the it will say you have 1 or 2 more times to use this but when you enter the cave again it will reload so I hope this answered your questioned cause it was sure better than the other ones! oh my name is holly c.

In Carmite Cave, Third Level, 2nd room until the Boss's Lair , when you enter Zavier will come in also and ask you if you have a sleeping back you answer no and he tells you that your hopeless and that he'll give you his if you want. Say yes and he'll give you a ' Cheap Sleeping Bag' - pretty poor for an "explorer" duncha think? It has holes in em.
From Zavier he says your crazy for not having one and he give you his thn he runs away. But thats only if your about to beat the boss.
Kasimir Ruins

You can find platinum in Kasimer ruins and Danaan cave. Danaan cave has lots of platinum, but in Kasimer ruins it is very rare.
I found some in the 2nd cave.it took forever though.
You buy seeds and grow them after you beat all the dungeons. You can buy seeds from Jean. One downside is they take from 60-120 days total, so grow them in a cave with correct season.
After you finish the game(defeated all the caves) Jean will sell them in this shop. Go talk to him and he will tell you that he has new seeds in stock. The Emery flower is a spring seed, and it will take about a year to grow. Plant it in a spring cave, like Carmite or Kasmir. -Answer by:SouljaGirl15
If you have beaten the game, then you can buy them from Jean's store. Also, if you have a pass to Greed Cave but have not beaten the game, then find the mini dragon in Greed Cave and defeat it until it drops the seeds. They take 120 days to grow. You are not required to give this to Mist for marriage, but it does help.
After you deafeat all bosses. Buy it in Jean's shop and plant it in any of spring climate caves.

If your going to propose to mist with flower don't bother cause thats not how you marry her.you have to plow every square of your field even the ones with the stumps and rocks.
Whenever the mermaid sits on the edge of the rock, hit her as many times as you can. When she summons her monster, kill it if you want, but it is better to focus on the mermaid. (I suggest bringing alot of medicine because she is quite strong) -Answer by:SouljaGirl15
Sorry, correction on the above. You may be skilled but the problem really lies on the sword. It really depend how much time you intend to waste on this fight. If you don't care then just keep fighting for as long as you like and get no where, if you really wanna beat it, and I mean a one shot no turning off your Ds and restarting thing, then I suggest you go and forge the Star Saber. The most effective sword to get at your level. And almost guarrentee to beat the Mermaid. All you have to do is upgrade your house and get enough experience in forging to forge the Star Saber. It's a bit time consuming and a bit o' effort, but trust me it's worth it. You'll need it someday anyway. Reason being, you will have no trouble in Kasimir Ruins or Danaan cave if you have the Star Saber. But Greed cave is a different story. You can forge the Fourth Element which is good for Greed cave and the thing is.....Star Saber is one of the four ingredients! ISn't that great? You already have one! Yes and if you have upgraded house you only need to mine in Clemens cave to get bout 30,000 - 40,000 thousand dollars a day, so sell da stuff and purchase loads of Medicine ( preferably the Antidote - Heals Thirty and is least expensive. Paragon - more expensive but at least have a few in your bag incase you are paralyzed and the Roundoff so you can charge your equipment or use spells. All Heal thirty- different prices- different effects) Remember Potions are also essiential, essetially if you can make your own potions, cuz you can get higher level ones to heal 300 Hp.
I didnt hit her unless she sat near me,then I slashed her.the easyest way (or the one I used) is just to buy the spell Crimson Fire and use it over and over again.it hurts her no matter wat because the spell hits EVERY THING near it.since I was near the water and she was in the water,i used the spell over and over again.she died after about 15 hits and make sure you have enough potions,antidotes,ect.Trust me,you will need them before you get to her.(and she is NOT a mermaid.shes a Siren)
I think you should forge those heaven sword because it cause like 94 damage.u should be a strong lv as well mabe over 40

Use the star saber and hit her when siren near you, at the time, siren will call some hitodama, but if you far with that monster, he will not going to attack you! You can use the wind or cyclone blade too... But, there is an attack when there is a note, don't go near it, it will cause a paralyze! -Answer by:TerraLeaf
When she sits up, attack as many times as you can. When she uses the beam move the way she isn't aiming as you can hit her from behind. To avoid the notes, move to the edge of the room and find a space in between two notes so they won't hit you. When the ghost comes kill it when the mermaid's not there bacause he gets a nuisance when you fight the mermaid. I was level 31 with a defender and heavy shield when I beat it and it was really hard and it takes time so don't just give up. Hope I helped.
In toros cave there will be a big pile of snow just stand next to it and press A then select dig

the only girl you can marry is Rosetta, and her friendship level and love level are @ 10, but only can get the white stone when this happens.
You can marry 11 girls [not at the same time!] and you can get the white stone at any point in the game

Efore you can find the boss's lair, you must defeat all of the monster devices than go down 3 times.
The top 1 is bogus but this is helpful! you only need to destroy all the machines that the monsters come out of once! and then you can enter.

He Boss is a Greater Daemon when Mist leaves the room it will charge at you so be ready to slash it back then it will stand slashing at you that's your chance to strike when it starts glowing red get away from it it can deliver an attack that will knock you out then he will jump up and rocks will fall avoid them then go slash him a few times (note:use a basic sword it's faster and you won't be left open for long
It's difficult to tell you exactly where it is. But there is no point in finding it if you can't open it. Destroy all the shifts ( Machines ) in Carmite Cave - they will regenerate when you leave, this is a one shot thing so remember to save before you go into the Cave or save on the 2nd Level. There is only one way to get to the Lair so if you find to passages- take one and if you hit a dead end, just take the other- eventually you will get there.

Go to your homepage on the your computer and type "information for Rune Factory" chose the first choice and then click "marriage" then it will show you all the girls you can marry and if you click on them it will tell you what to do to marry them.
To marry Mist, you must give her the Emery Flower. For Rosetta, you must give her the White Stone. For Tabatha and Sharron, you must give them the Grimoire Sword. For Tori, you must have read her diary. For Felicity, you must have cured her. For Bianca, you just have to talk to her in the park when her heart level and friendship level is @ 10. - ( You do not have to have the Emery Flower!) You must plow ALL the squares in YOUR field and past Danaan Cave - Providing that you beat the monster and plowed the cave)
2. Rosetta
- Propose to here anywhere when you have the White stone from the massive pile of snow in Toros cave. ( as soon as you walk in one of the rooms there will be a large pile in front of you - if you investigate the cave or attempt to clear it you will NOT miss it!)
3. Melody
- ( WARNING - IF YOU MARRY MELODY YOU CAN NO LONGER USE THE BATHHOUSE AS SHE WILL BE LIVING WITH YOU) - Personally I reckon Melody looks best in her wedding dress though....Melody is pretty simple all you have to do is to get her heart level to 10, I sleep really early so I never get to use the bathhouse to level up her heart level. But if you make about 3-4 dozen cookies on the spring festival you can get her heart level to 10 easy!
- Same goes for the rest of them ( trouble is you need an extented house to make cookies - Best way to make money is by mining - I don't farm, too boring and you get barely any money for your hard work.) But on days like Treasure hunt are big hits! When you get the book give it to Godwin and DON'T choose money! Choose wood cuz it's harder to get!)
- So bak to the point Melody is easy. Just Talk to Sharron and Melody in front of the Kasimir Ruins on Friday after 9am- Then talk to Sharron again when she is at the Inn after 9pm. When Melody's Heart level is at 10 go to her house before the Bathhouse is open ( Before 3) and talk to her to propose - simple huh?)
5. Sharron
For Sharron you must beat the Boss in Gigant Mountains to obtain the Grimore's Scale and give it to LEO THE BLACKSMITH so he can forge you the sword - go back on the day he tells you to and he'll tell you that he has a change of heart and wants you to have the sword - Give it to Sharron to propose ( YOU CAN NOT USE THE WORD FOR ANY OTHE PURPOSE ) The sword was forged purely for the purpose of marring Sharron.)
6. Lara
- For Lara you must beat Toros cave and plowed it~
Then go visit the library from 9am - 6pm talk to Russell and he'll tell you that Ceci's gone missing. Talk to Godwin about this and he'll issue you a pass to Clemens cave. Save Ceci~ You enter the room and in that room there should be 2 monster machines ( one with ants and another with a troll/giant) Ignore them and turn left until you reach another room. Keep walking Left until you see an entrance to your south - Enter and you'll find yourself trapped in that room - Destroy the Monster Machine to keep going - Ceci will be in that room to your south. Mist will come a pick her up.) After saving Ceci ~ before 9am visit the library and go upstairs - You must have Russells permission - to do that talk to him in the library after your friendship point reached 3 - Talk to Ceci upstairs and she will give you the lapiz lazuli - This is the essential item to marring lara - Give it to her after all the requirements are met)
7. Tori
- Walk into the Hot Spring on a clear evening Tuesday or Thursday. Tori will be inside. Talk to her.
Raise a Buffamoo up to 8 Friend Points. When you milk your Buffamoo you should start receiving L. Milk.
Then on the weekend between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm Tori will be at the summit of Mt. Clemens. She'll be up the north path, before you walk west towards the bridge leading to Mt. Gigant. Take a L. Milk and hand it over to her. Talk to her agin to Propose.
8. Lynette
- You must finish the main story line of the game before you get the chance to marry Major Lynette. Once that step has been completed, you must also have befriended everyone in the village up to at least 8 Friend Points.
Proposing marriage to Lynette is a little tricky, since the conversation script about getting married can randomly appear when you are talking to her. You just have to keep talking and hope you get lucky enough that you get prompted to ask her hand in marriage.
9. Bianca
-To marry Bianca you just have to talk to her in the Plaza when she is there on the holiday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. There isn't anything else you need to do besides meet the basic marriage requirements. The challenge to Bianca is in raising her affection, since everyday gifts mean nothing to her.
You must also have Jasper at 3 or more Friend Points
10. Felicity
- The key to marrying Felicity is to discover the mystery behind her sickness.
Go to the Library and check out the bookcases. You'll find a book about the legendary Cursed Stone.
Head back to the Library on a Rainy day to find Ceci and Nicolas in the library. Talk to Ceci and she'll tell you she read the book on the cursed stones and was so scared she threw all her stones away. She will then giggle and say " Or did I give them to Felicity " - Though it makes it sound like Ceci doen't like Felicity.
Then before 9am in the morning when Felicity is upstairs at her father's house, talk to her about the stone. Felicity will hand the stone over to you. Make sure you have an available slot in your Rucksack to receive the stone. You will need to have at least 3 FP with Godwin and have been given permission to enter his house after 6:00 pm.
Take the stone to Doctor Edward. He'll examine the little rock and confirm that it is indeed a Cursed Stone. Edward will dispose of the little rock for you.
Return to Felicity and talk to her. Tell her what she received was an evil Cursed Stone. Now that she no longer has the item in her possession, her health begins to return.
Once you've completed the 5 steps, meet up with Felicity on the holiday at the Plaza between Noon and 4:00 pm. You can then propose to her if you've met the basic marriage requirements.
11. Mei
-Upgrade your Fishing Pole to level 5 (Sacred Rod), which requires you to collect various bits of items from the monsters. Leo can upgrade your pole a few levels for you, but it's up to you to take it all the way to the last level. The last item you'll need comes off of the plants in Danann Cave, so you'll almost be done with the main story line by the time you get the pole upgraded to the required level.
Step 2: Head to the Winter season Misty Bloom Cave and make your way down to the area before the final boss' room, or the room with the Tricky Mush summoning machine (A5). Charge up your Fishing Rod to its highest power and fish off the docks until you catch a Lover Snapper, a large pink fish.
Step 3: Find a friend who also has a copy of Rune Factory for their DS, and use the Wifi network to trade the Lover Snapper back and forth. Each time it passes from DS to DS it will raise 1 level. You need the fish to be at least level 80, so this may take some time.
Once you have the level 80+ fish, give it to Mei and then talk to her again to propose.
12. Tabatha.
- Build a lot of Monster Huts. Each level of a building you have Camus construct will cost you 1000 G and 100 wood. You can build 7 Monster Huts, and then add onto those huts to make 2 more basements in each one. Each floor of the hut can hold 4 animals that you've befriended. You'll need to do this at least 13 times.
Step 2: Take your Pet Gloves into the caves and capture monsters. Just let a monster beat on you while you continue to press the B button with the glove equipped. Once it has become your friend it'll transport to an empty space in your barn. You need at least 50 animals living on your property.
Step 3: On a weekend day when the weather is not raining, visit Kasimir Ruins between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. You will find Tabatha around in the area. Talk to he about your large herd of friendly monsters.
Once you've impressed Tabatha with your little zoo, you can ask her to marry you. Even after you've married Tabatha she won't take off her giant hat.

Once you've completed the 5 steps, meet up with Felicity on the holiday at the Plaza between Noon and 4:00 pm. You can then propose to her if you've met the basic marriage requirements.
11. Mei
-Upgrade your Fishing Pole to level 5 (Sacred Rod), which requires you to collect various bits of items from the monsters. Leo can upgrade your pole a few levels for you, but it's up to you to take it all the way to the last level. The last item you'll need comes off of the plants in Danann Cave, so you'll almost be done with the main story line by the time you get the pole upgraded to the required level.
Step 2: Head to the Winter season Misty Bloom Cave and make your way down to the area before the final boss' room, or the room with the Tricky Mush summoning machine (A5). Charge up your Fishing Rod to its highest power and fish off the docks until you catch a Lover Snapper, a large pink fish.
Step 3: Find a friend who also has a copy of Rune Factory for their DS, and use the Wifi network to trade the Lover Snapper back and forth. Each time it passes from DS to DS it will raise 1 level. You need the fish to be at least level 80, so this may take some time.
Once you have the level 80+ fish, give it to Mei and then talk to her again to propose.
12. Tabatha.
- Build a lot of Monster Huts. Each level of a building you have Camus construct will cost you 1000 G and 100 wood. You can build 7 Monster Huts, and then add onto those huts to make 2 more basements in each one. Each floor of the hut can hold 4 animals that you've befriended. You'll need to do this at least 13 times.
Step 2: Take your Pet Gloves into the caves and capture monsters. Just let a monster beat on you while you continue to press the B button with the glove equipped. Once it has become your friend it'll transport to an empty space in your barn. You need at least 50 animals living on your property.
Step 3: On a weekend day when the weather is not raining, visit Kasimir Ruins between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. You will find Tabatha around in the area. Talk to he about your large herd of friendly monsters.
Once you've impressed Tabatha with your little zoo, you can ask her to marry you. Even after you've married Tabatha she won't take off her giant hat.

You can buy feed at Numan's shop, as well as Camus' shop. It cost 100 gold for 1 bushel of feed. You can also grow your own, if you buy grass seeds.

You need different things for different girls. for example, the easiest, max out Sharon's luv points by giving her a fire crystel or some thing like that, and Mei... well... she is the hardest to marry. once you max out a girls luv points you should be able to propose.

You have too beat that cave first
Once you chop the wood with the axe it automatically goes to the wood shed by your house
You dont really store it yourself....you just chop it up while its on the ground with an axe and it will store itself in the shed you can check how much you have by click on start and going to the 3rd or 4th tab and its on the top screen

You can upgrade your hammer to smash them.
You have to have your hammer upgraded at least 1 level. Its the same with the tree stumps, I think they take 12 swings each. Hope this helps.
Basically you cant do anything about the really really big ones, otherwise, the medium size ones you can break in 2hits and the smaller in 1hit

Wait for a tornado to come by your home they are most common during summer. then pick up all the stuff you find in the field and throw it in your backpack then go sell it all to Casmus and If your game just started store the stuff you find on your field you'l have a house in no time
Go mining in the second cave and get sapphires or high level silver--sell it all!
Mining is the quickest way to get money. Spend a few days in caves mining. Remember, the higher level cave, the better stuff it has!
Go to carmite cave and plant 9 3x3 squares of Strawberrys. You have to water them once for 2 days once they are fully grown keep doing this and you will get tons of money. TRUST ME!
I like to plant pumkins and strawberrys, cuz they're more expensive.

Well the Main story line will be finished. It's pretty boring cuz no one aknowledges you deeply and the girls love point will not increase even when you did so many heroic deeds. Lynette will then be avaliable as a bachelette and you will be able to continue your life normally. Once you get there, try hitting it when it is about to shoot ice lasers fromits head and/or when it is roaring. but it is more likely to hit you.
Run around when the Chimera (the boss's name)is casing you. then stop. The Chimera will try to hit you, move up or down. AVOID THE ICE BREATH! When the water jet spell is cast (the thing comeing out of its head) SLASH IT. When the Chimera turns red countue this method BUT the Cimera is MUCH FAST SO BE CAREFUL AND THERE ARE FOUR WATER JETS NOW AS WELL! Have a lot of the Potion the Doctor gives you. (you can get bottle at Mist's house, Biacnca's House and form a festivl which I can't remenber XD.) Hope that helps!

Yeh upgrade your axe and hammer. After you upgrade the axe, charge it before swinging it.

You have to upgrade your tools. You can get metals and stuff in rocks which you hit with your hammer you get a hammer when you defeat carmite I believe.
You need to upgrade your tools, in order to do that you first need to plow 50squares of soil inside cave carmite, then go to leo (the dude in the shop with two battle axe sign) and he will give you a "cheap hammer" now go bak to lake carmite and use the hammer on the gem stone thingys (after you hit it twice it breaks) and you'll get metal(s) go bak to leo and give him the metal, some cash and your tool and he'll upgrade it in 2days

Basically, you just need to upgrade your tools then hold down the button to charge the higher the upgrade, the bigger the ball of light (charge) will be, and the faster the stumps and rocks will go.
You can do this with most things, like high level swords, waterpots, etc.

I'm not sure if these are recipes..but you are supposed to buy all the cooking books in Russell's shop. (library)
You can get the kitchen and other stuff from Ivan. he sells loads of furniture and things. then you can get the recipes and cook them so that you can eat or give them to your fave girls.

There is no need for me to sit here and tell you all the recipes. Because there is no need. Unlike the other Harvest moon games you do not need to rely on guessing or other ppl to find out recipes...you can simply purchase a book off Russell at the Library on different days for different books. eg. one day might have a cook book for the Steamer and another day might be Pot. You will also not waste ingredient if you accidently put in the wrong things. It will just say Error. However if you do not have enough experience it may end up as a flop.

Yea and make sure you actually HAVE water in the pot! it also helps to have a potion or something to get your hp back up with any boss. monsters help too.

Iwent in with a windsword from leo and killed boss with 13 hits, each doing 70 something damage. all I needed was a recovery potion and a sleeping bag...

Ok right when you walk in there are two machines one spits out trolls and the other bees.go through that area. you pop out in a largish area with lots of exits. the one right underneath you is the one you should go in. walk in and theres a show, you see the doors close on both ends. there is a machine that spits out trolls, they are really easy to kill dont worry, kill the troll and the machine and the doors will open walk to the other end and go down the path. the door will open and a show with you and cecila will start and mist walks her home..
