trash the other's untill you get to darius. he dead hard in the race but the canyon he's yours. one of the corners will have a non breakable barrier, but he still takes the inside lane. simply over take him and keep the lead for 10 sec's and the games yours!

: Just remember its not so much the car u drive. just use one with really good handling and acceleration. u dont need top speed at all for the canyon races. but use the apex style of turning, basicly turn less, brake less, drift more go as straight as possible. cuz the straighter u go around the turns the faster u can do them therefor keeping up with darius. I did it with in the lotus, lamborghini murcialago (not very good on the turns though), nissan 350 z, nissan skyline, mitsubishi lancer. that is my suggestion to u. u can do it though just get in the zone and do it. lol peace one love jah rastafari.

: Use the evo. Tune it for acceleration on almost all tunable parts. Have full grip on the tires og and set it on oversteer. Race pakages makes it easier to beat him but with this tuning it pretty easy to squash him. After the race where you have to beat all three bosses its childsplay if you just remember to use all the shortcuts.

: Use the Ford GT, it handels good, and its the fastest car in the game(325mph) while the SLR(321mph), trust me you will smokehim easily!

: Bro, dont listen to any of them., use this.....use that! JEEZ! think SMART! in a canyon race. top speed is never gonna be reached! so put your mind on MOVING QUICK! ACCELERATION! set all your car performance on torque, tranny: acceleration, suspension : STRICTLY MIDDLE! (for even weight of the car!) (putting a car on oversteer makes the rear end loose, its perfect for drifting!| oversteer: is perfect for sharp corners!) -

: Ive beet the game 7 times the gt flips to easly, and the others just are slow use the zo6 put the engine to horspowr transmission to acceleration suspenion to understeer n0s 2 velocity tires 2 grip brakes 2 rear and super charger 2 high

: I won it with a fully turned slr mclaren with it at full accel and hand and I wooped his butt and dont listen to tip A9 because the mclaren is the fastest at 232mph ( thats the speed I got it to in a rival challege )

: To beat darius in the canyon first you get $240,000 then get a
mercedes SLR mclaren then get NOS for the first 3 races. Then you get to the canyon now on the you turns dont brake or drift just tap R1 then you will get round nicely when you have done all the you turns you are already 30% throught the canyon.
TIPS:(on the first cornor dont brake decellarate)
TIPS:(You can do it with a gallado)
TIPS:(DONT get a murchilargo)
