How do I get 1,000,000 as a balance in carrer mode for the Chevelle SS?

Start a new career,if you have data files from NFS - Most Wanted on your memory card you'll get 10 000 as a bonus and aslo enter - D U L D R U Square triangle at the main menu for 10 000 extra , then buy the RX8. At the main menu again, enter the cheats for infinite NOS and infinite Crew Charge to give you an edge. Used the Blockers only. As soon as you unlock NOS buy it and use it non-stop throughout all the races and only buy the ultimate parts thereafter when you unlock them to save money. When you've fully worked your RX8 tune it for max hp. max top-end max velocity max grip and max rpm. You'll now be able to win enough races to make 1 000 000. Don't spend any money on the look's of your car until then and don't buy any other car and sell the cars that you win from any of the Bosses. After you've hit your total, you can then spend like a mad man!!!
I found that you need a lot of luck I started with the berera and got the pink slips to all the rivals cars

You keep one car and the when you face all of the boses after you defeat the get a pink slip and then go to the safe house and sell the slow cars then you should have 1,000,000
When you start the game buy the camarro ss and when you unlock the nos upgrade buy it and dont buy any outher street package upgrade and then go to the main menu and enter the infinte nos cheat code and race the game and by the time you defeat darius you should have 1,020,000
To get the $1,000,000 you need to conserve your money from the start of the game. The way i've done it is to never actually buy a new car untill you've made the $1,000,000. Start out with the RX-8 and only use the pro or race uprade packages if you have to use any at all. try and win all the bosses cars (i usually restart the game if I don't) so then you'll always have a fast car but won't have to buy one. it took me a few trys but I beat the boss using the aston martin DB9, and after that I had over $1,000,000.
I played 1 carrear through then got busted on purpose by the cops so I could start a new game with all the cars still unlocked...then I played until I had enough to buy a dodge viper (which was already unlocked.) I used that the rest of the way stock to beat the game. This leaves u with over 1,000,000. keep ur starting car so u can sell the viper at the end to make an extra 75,000.
I've tried getting busted and my cars are NOT still unlocked
the only way I can see winning if you've beaten career mode and won all the races already would be 1000 free roams... which would be completely and utterly a waste of time

Well what I did was I beat it and only had 432,000 and I was left with a viper that wasn't worth anything so I did 700 races and got 1,000,000 bucks to buy the chevelle and the guy above me knows not what hes talking about because if your a true chevelle fan its definatley worth it
Lol its very easy if you do it the very first career beacuse then you can get the rivals car but if you do it the second time your not even allowed to choose the markers

I reccommend grip tires, btw I bet him with a galladrdo, use all shortcuts and try to slam him into walls when hes trying to get into the allies.you can because he will catch you easily and if he gets infront you its a pain to catch up.
I don't use super cars or muscle cars. I used the evo. and put it in manual. so when you r on a bend behind him drop it down a gear and you will get right behind him or hopefully overtake him wiv difficulty
I used a Suberu Impreza WRX STi. passed him on the 7th last corner, tuned like this...

Try the mclaren...it's what I used, it was a challenge to beat him, but I eventually overtook him. here's what ya do. take all the available shortcuts on the road race and it's important not to mess up even once or he'll pass you, leaving you with minimal hope of catching up with him. on the canyon just stay behind him and watch the last few little bends cause they're what will cost you the race. then, when he's behind you, just don't push too hard and keep it on the track.

You have to win one of the races in Silverton to unlock the Camaro concept. I have yet to beat it but keep looking online. I am working on a tip I found to unlike the Corvette Z06. I believe it will help some.

You have to get a perfect launch at the start. And the fifth left as you turn it use speedbreaker and head right through a shortcut hit the middle of the board and you will be catapulted through the air into a cut in the corner
OK I have betten the game twice, and I know darius is very hard to beat. But you can beats him, ok first finish all of the races {own all the territory} By the mercedes benz maclarin/ fully load it and on the options when you buy the tranny-more top speed than acceleration. When you buy the nos-more duration that valosity. And for the turbo/supercharger-more horsepower that torqe. O once done race darious, watch your corners, dont wipe out, take all the short-cuts, and watch your nos! Hope I helped.
Well if you have enough money and have unlocked the nissan skyline gt-3 buy the car I just mentioned and fully supe it up so when you come 2 face Darius your car will be easier to turn corners and Darius' car isn't very good on turning so when you get up to the canyon race and when you get up to about 60-80% there are two hair pins pass then turn the corner and accelerate to gain speed you should try to pass Darius and if you hold it off for 10 seconds you will win the race and you dont have to do the second leg.
Here is the problem: your're murcielago is too fast for its handling(all exotic cars are like that an that is the weakness)

Okay what u have to do is stay on his tail and you notice on all turns he slows down like hell and then move to the side and then your car boosts with acl and overtake it in a place where is easy to hold him for 10 secs
I have the mercedes benz slr mcglaren and I can beat them with infinite nitrous and speed breaker or w/e (just the cheats that are infinite) but I cant quite get the last race in bc its a carbon and I dont have the racing breaks on the mcglaren so I go off the edge ... and I dont have enough money to get them! and theres no more races
Well what I tryed to do to beat him was in the canyon duel insted of turning try cut him off in the first corner and as you hit him try find a way to turn so u get in front of him and if you do it properly you should win but u gotta stay in front for 10 seconds. I used a corvette no nitro and hardly done up so id try use a muscle car
It's difficult but can be done.I won the final series of battles against Darius and friends with my fully modified Skyline and careful attention to car set up! I believe Nikki was my active crew member as I didn't know there was any difference in the outcome no matter who I was using.She seemed to get in my way an awful lot too! (quite aggrevating)I tuned my engine on the torque side of the set-up,trans on acceleration,suspension for understeer,brakes for rear bias,tires set for grip,nitrous for max velocity and turbo for high rpm.I would always start off using my nitrous to gain a killer launch and get rolling and then just drive my ass off allowing the nitrous to build back up for future use which is a definate must especially when holding off the audi lemans! Oh and when racing Darius down the Canyon without the assistance of the nitrous,DRIVE YOUR ASS OFF!!! You will have to get really mad and into your "ZONE" before you will conquer the final 5 part challenge( I think it's 5?)You will need to dedicate yourself to some time on this one and probably have to restart a few times along the way but rermember,Once you start you cannot stop until the "D" man is defeated! Good luck! It can be done ! I hope these hints may be helpful to you but keep in mind that these set up numbers are appropriate for "my driving style" and may not be well suited to yours! thedeanoman

And it's handling is unbelievable.
Then when your in the canyon and going to hit the sharp turns ( or any races with really sharp turns) since you can't use your speedbreaker, or you just don't want to,
Hit that e-break and regular break at the same time.
You practice this enough,
You'll be hittin those corners at 100+ easy.
Just practice with it.

The ford gt will work for help see top of section note: the ford gt has better handling,lower to ground,and wont flip easily like the mclaren if you don't know what to do try creating it in the my cars section to see what you like better I know I beat it without transmission tier 3, and brakes and suspension tier 3 good luck also once you beat the game you unlock:

Okay I had a maxed out porsche carrara gt and what I tried is that on the first turn in the canyon duel I cut him off and drifted the turn so that I am in front of him and I just stayed in front of him for ten sec. it too me a while but I ended up passing him for ten seconds in about 5 tries

On the street race with darious, u need to take every short cut (there are three at least.) The first 1 at the beginning is crucial...if he follows u on the first 1 then just restart the race, it isn't worth wasting ur time, he will pass u on 1 of the upcoming turns....It is also always important to keep him behind u so if he tries to jet by u, u can block him...If he gets in front of u, the race is pretty much over...speed isn't really the answer here; u need 2 be able to take very sharp corners otherwise, this is where he will pass u...It will take a bunch of tries, but eventually u will be able to take all the shortcuts withoutnhim following u and u'll beat him....

Use a z06,viper or any other fast mucle cars. tune them max and try to find some shortcuts. put the inf speed breaker and nos and use them until the finish line, always put on bumper view and have a perfect lauch when u past him in a canyon or 1-1 race, pay attention to the rearview mirror. when he comes, try to block his way, he will put on a full brake and that will give u some time and if u are lucky, he will bang u and give u some speed. I am telling that will work to any racer too and "OH LOOK!! DARIUS UST CRASHED INTO A CAR"

Answers +You shouldnt have to beat career mode to get the skyline. Beat all the races in the Stacked Deck area and then youll eventually get the Skyline. I used that to beat Darious on my game and it helps.
No. my best suggestion is to get the mercedes slr maclaren because the nissan skyline handles perfectly but has low speed and accelelation so since darius's car is so fast (I know because I unlocked it) he will just pull light years away from you.
Yes you will get a skyline when u beet darius aswell as 4 others then u will have to find a car lot in diamond hills to get a 2007 shelby gt 500 and a few othars
Ive got a skyline and ive just started taking over carbon canyon so im not sure if you take over teritory you unlock 1 car or a part
I beat Darius with the Carrera GT, took me 3 tries but got him eventually, just make sure u stay ahead of him, and when he starts to get close, try to have him run into the back of ur car rather than pass you. You won't catch up to him if he passes u
The reason you have not unlocked the skyline is because you started on muscle car class you should unlock it at the end of the game may I recomend the z06 or the viper as they are the best for canyon deuls.
I recomend the ford gt you should unlock it in silverton refinery in silverton once you got that max it out and beat the game,oh and you will unlock the skyline after career mode but you will have really no use for it. good luck! -Answer by:tftf4036

I trired loads of cars 2 beat darius but in the end I managed it wit an unmodded lancer (at least that way you don need break on corners wer he dus)

The RX8 is the best! I've won all races through Kempton, Fortuna and Downtown with it and that way you won't have to waste money on buying others cars. If you win the RX7 or the DB9 then use them but if you don't win any then buy one of them to take on Silverton cos by then you'll need a much higher top end than the RX8 will be able to give you. When you unblock the GTR - R34 then buy it and destroy anyone who dares to challenge you! Evern with minimum mods, the R34 is the DADDY!!!

Actually, the car you get decides who your first boss is if you get the rx8 you'll face kenji first camaro you'll face angie first and the alfa thingy you'll face wolf first -Answer by:cjohnsonfan89
I reckon if you are starting off use the Camaro SS but if your going for looks and speed the RX-8 is your number 1 choice. I find the problem is with the Alfa is that it is fast but Wolf's DB9 is a bloody rocket. Keep this in mind.

Get the most valuable car - the Alfa Romeo - and exchange it for an RX-8. That way, you get an extra 10 grand to spend on modifications.
Get the camaro and after you bit the boss clik the 3 ? card and you unlook the boss car
Get the alfa romeo and put a new engine in it
Use rx 8 with all the nitrous and the best custamisations available you can even beat angie in the first few rases
Wolf is the easiest to defeat in the canyon and I recomend starting the whole game with the alfa. you could go and buy some other car once youve started in TFK teretory but start with wolf.
Truthfully, no car is truly "better" than the other...as you can see by the answers, it comes down to personal preference. I have beat the game starting with each car...because u face a boss with the same class of car (turner exotic muscle), it truly just depends on what you feel most comftorable driving...try them all out...here are some spec's on each car to help u decide:
Exotic: Great Top Speed, decent turning, below average accel.
Turner: Below Average Top Speed, decent accel., great turning
Muscle, Average Top Speed, below average turning (until you really get good at the game, then you can learn how to drift with the muscle cars), and Great Acceleration...

Chose the camaro SS,when you have the car win the race that unlocks the supercharger, it will help you alot with power and accelaration

If u have the ford gt unlocked use that against him. I used the gt and managed to pass him in the final canyon race the gt is really good use it!
You must all suck because I beat all the bosses with a tuned supra and a tuned monaro or xkr vauxall if thats how you spell it. all you have to do is learn how to drive properly and take the corners without hitting the walls
I don't think hat speed is really the answer here. Everyone is probably saying I'm fullof gumption, but I beat the entire game with the Nissan 240SX (fully tuned of course). I used Nikki (a lot) and th lower speeds and high andling were key.
With the corvette tune it to horse power grip and aseleration and in the first turn go to the inside , you shoud pass him ( to take turns pull on the e-brake)

As for the canyon duel...this is a different story...I found that with the stock viper, I couldn't pass him on the first turn and not fall of the cliff on the second...but i'm not saying it couldn't be done...ANyway, I think your best bet is to just try and stick with him all the way down...It's a canyon duel, there's no easy way to beat it...just love that restart button...it took me about 15 tries with the stock viper to win...And 1 more piece of advice...on the very last turn, wen ur leading and u think ur gonna pull ahead, I suggest u play it safe and slow down so u don't go flying through the guard rail...

WRX Sti is possibly the best car for canyon race against darius
You can beat darious with almost any car in the game...It's just a matter of skill....I was able to beat him with several stock cars including the viper...just keep at it and take all the shortcuts on the street race (thats the key to winning there) and then on the canyon it comes down to pure skill...

It took me some time, a lot of patience, but I kept trying. Finish the race even if you come last, that way you get a "feel" for the track, and then re-start. Personally, I used the Skyline due its amazing handling ability. Sell a couple of your cars, buy the GT3 -RS and mod it fully. When the count down begins, give it full throttle and you should get away a lot quicker than Darius' R8. You can get round the first 2 corners easily using Nos, giving you a good lead over him. Use the right analogue stick to accelerate and brake (when you need to brake, rotate the stick, and then quickly bring it round and up to accelerate), its a lot easier than using X and Square. On the sharp turns, come wide and then chuck the Skyline into the corner, it'll stay in a good position and you'll come away quicker. Use as many of the short-cuts as you can, believe me, they help =]

The Elise is the best I think. Sell your Alfa Brera and put on what ever you need for the Elise. If that doesnt help then im sorry, because I started with a tuner and beat the game twice already.
I actually Beated wolf by the camaro ss, that car yea, with some modifications.. will allow you beat that wolf so easily.. some people don't recommend the camaro ss cuz of it's kinda difficult handling it.. I'd say the great driver handles anything he rides.. go for muscle man !

Either car should do. you need 2 go into safehouse, customisation and then performance and tune the cars performance settings. when you select engine, transmition and turbo/supercharger packages select the racing pakage if they have them if not the pro package should do. when u select these you will see 3 sets of 3 boxes. for instance select engine tier 1 the best package that's there and move these settings nearer to if not right up to top speed. do the same with transmition and turbo to give the best possible top speed. I found wolf kept beating me to start with till I started 2 tinker with the settings. also you will be able 2 beat wolf easier if you remember all the shortcuts. remember to have good tires which I normally have set on grip and you may want 2 set the suspention between oversteer and halfway. good luck and if you don't do it keep at it and at it and you soon will. even wolf fluffs up from time to time.

I find that if you buy a rubbish car and race him in that all of the suped up bits of his car cant be used, his car is then as bad as yours and your skill (no matter how bad) is enough to beat him. If you have a really good car then his WILL be better and it will be harder to beat him.

If you chose exotic at the start the alfa romeo is the best because you can soup its performance up to higher than of a stock lotus elise as you havent unlocked performance parts for the elise, also I found choosing the muscle type to be the easiest, and tuner to be hardest to play the game

If u r using the exotic career, buy a friggin lotus elise, since its a tier 2 car, it worked for me on the first try, and I didn't even have to pass, all I did was just stay behind him and won with less than 2000 points at the end of the canyon race.

Use the dodge viper its quick accel alows u 2 over take him in the first turn of the canyon race u have to time it right and stay on the iside of the turn as soobn as u pass get in front of him and dont let him pass if its all timed right going through the second turn the race should be over
I have beat him twice with the Ford GT its a good all around car. Also I just beat him with the Lambo Mercialago both are good choices. I have never been able to do it with a tuner.

1) Do not brake at all...instead, try letting off the gas turning, then punching the gas and nitrous to get around tight turns.
2) Going fast really really increases the amount of points you will get so if there is a straight away, punch the nitrous and get the car moving...see tip #1 for help on making the turns at high speed...
3) Hitting walls will cut the amount of points ur about to recieve in half so if u have to stop in order to avoid a wall, don't be afraid to.
4) Linking drifts is an absolute neccesity...however DO NOT try to make extra turns when you don't half to...

U got to tune your car try getting a muscle car the best ones for drifting.. ooh and tune the suspenssion
Tuning a car is not necessary in drift. Muscles are ideal because they have highest acceleration i.e. you can maintain a higher speed thus remaining in the 'blue' zone to get max points. Steer clear of tuners because they handle to tightly.
On canyon drift, multiplier goes up to 20X so approach the first corner at max speed, NEVER brake, just take foot of accelerator pedal and car will naturally take the corner tighter. SO, when you are in the inside of a corner (near wall or guardrail) accelerate full when near outside rail, take off accelerator and you'll go back in. Best drifter in game is Z06 it has max acceleration, not highest top speed & low handling rating - the lower the handling rating, the easier it is to drift.
Drift needs to be smooth - when you get smoother, you'll be able to do controlled fishtailing on the canyon drift, enabling you to reach well over 500,000 on a single drift.

The most money you can get off of crew races is $750 each race, but you have to have Neville on your crew and Sampson has to be your active crew member, but if you want more money and dont care how long the race is, then do a random encounter race (rivals race). After winning those races you get $1,000 a race.
I'm sorry man, cuz I guess the only ways to get money in this game is thru the races, Most wanted Saved game (10,000$), the cheat code which u can use only once(10,000$) and again thru those races you won previously..
P.S. what I realy liked about this game, you really feel the value of the money.. so difficult to make alot without losing some..
Oh yes one more thing.. don't ever sell your cars.. cuz it's gonna be sold for half it's actual value without apprecieting the modifications your car has earned :(

No theres not a way other than ur crew member and if u start a new career u will either have to delte your account and start from nothing or u can start a new account which means you will have 2 accounts and u cannot keep your reward cards if u start a new account
Yo lil buddy I think wats happened is that uv already beaten the races but theyve been taken over by some of the minor crews in the game (eg. kings, scorpios) because theyve challenged you for that area and you didnt accept it. either that or the game just gives you next to nothing after youve beaten it.
Heres what ya do. sell all ur cars but 1 ( doesnt matter which 1 ) then get arrested till them game is over, then restart from main menu--->start new career---> choose camaro as ur car, get just up to angie and do all races u can, then but either an Evo or a Skyline, depending if u want to win a few rival crew challenges or races for 500 each (700 each with ur +200 cash per win guy), then beat angie, hire samson then upgrade skyline/evo if u can, beat wolf and kenji, then do as many races in silverton as possible, then buy like mercedes mclaren or lambo (i suggest mclaren) upgrade it then beat him, you should have some extra cash at end too

Well Short and Simple, you get busted by the cops. I wondered the same thing for so long and then it just hit me. Get busted 3 times by the cops, and it will say start a new carrer. So you do this, and you keep all your reward cards and everything!
Challenge series, do the circuit one and ypu unlock the jaguar.
ps.you have to do the bronze silver and finally the gold race to win it

There are 43 total when u unlock all of them counting the reward cards...there are 10 to unlock in the reward cards...so when u beat career u should get 33

Got the boss wit soupedup Corvette C6 (I used Tier2Mustang and it was impossible) Kinda hard to drive so drive it smooth, tune suspensions to a bit oversteer. Accelerations are huuuuge, overtook darius on canyon at the first turn, pass him and keep position for timing duration, EZ.... But ya shoulda just hav tier3 car cuz his audi is xtra fast!!!
I waited till the very end like 10 feet from the linem then i slammed on my brakes and he kept slammin me witch gave 5000 point i kinda cheated the game though...

On one long corner in middle section he is eas to overtake and win there if you stop hm getting past, takes a few goes to practce, but with a car like slr mclaren (i had) u can power past hm on this corner round the outside and win on first stage
I used a Corvet and took him at the very first corner get infront and stay there...
Passed him right away in my awesome Chevrolet Corvette Z06. You tune the vette right and it is one of the best!!

Well I used the lamborghini murcielago ( did it up to full speed etc ) and all I did was overtake him at the first corner and stayed infront for 10 seconds .......but it took me about 30-50 attempts!

IF you don't own that expensive $216,000 car then use the Lamborghini Gallerdo, I'm pretty sure it's the fastest car in the game when it's all supped up, it has a hair more accelleration than the Porsche Carrea GT!

You cant get the Audi in career mode. You can get the Koenigsegg in Need For Speed Carbon Collectors edition, but only in quick race mode, and you can't tune it.
You can get the pink slip from deriuz and ull get hiz car.
Ccx is only available in the collectors edition in the challenge series

Its different every time. Try it by disabeling autosave. After that save before you start a boss race. If you don`t get he pink slip load the game and beat him again.

Answers +All it is, is a faster version of the heat 1 police car, if you have the original heat 1 car then when you get the interceptor, all it does is makes the status increase, basicly, you now have a faster cop car.
In quick race its in bonus cars section or 1 of them, cant use in career

If your starting car was a tuner then you will be able to unlock the nissan skyline after you conquer CANMOR DOWNS in SILVERTON but if you you dtarting car was a muscle or an exotic then you unlock it after beating darius. Its a pretty cool car :D
