| Get the unlimited nitrous cheat(Left Up,Left Down,Left Down,Right,Square),and then in canyon drift races just keep pressing nitrous and turning hard and just relax.Don't try to waste your time avoiding the yellow rail.If you crash you crash.You will earn high points.Try to get the multiplier.It multiplies your score when you just stop and wait for about 3 seconds.Example:If you get 900 points and you get a 2X multiplier,just stop and don''t hit the walls,wait for 3 secs(est.),and you'll have 1,800 points.Ypu can also use speedbreaker on corners,but I don't.I'm not sure if its good to use speedbreaker.
Note:This mostly will work in canyon races.I tried doing the track drifts,and they are hard I tell you,even with the N0S.I never tried speedbreaker.Now that I mentioned it,i should go try it later.

| Tuning a car is not necessary in drift. Muscles are ideal because they have highest acceleration i.e. you can maintain a higher speed thus remaining in the 'blue' zone to get max points. Steer clear of tuners because they handle to tightly.
On canyon drift, multiplier goes up to 20X so approach the first corner at max speed, NEVER brake, just take foot of accelerator pedal and car will naturally take the corner tighter. SO, when you are in the inside of a corner (near wall or guardrail) accelerate full when near outside rail, take off accelerator and you'll go back in. Best drifter in game is Z06 it has max acceleration, not highest top speed & low handling rating - the lower the handling rating, the easier it is to drift.
Drift needs to be smooth - when you get smoother, you'll be able to do controlled fishtailing on the canyon drift, enabling you to reach well over 500,000 on a single drift.
In stadium drift, make sure you're going max speed, enter the drift before the corner and counterdrift before the next. Drifting in the bonus zone isnt necessary to win if you can chain your drift successfully, but can add to some enourmous scores.

| 67 bucks? ouch! Best advice would be to race all your previous races again to build up some cash.. Have you tried using the Castrol Cash cheat? Any way, the 06Z is fine, but a real pain to handle int the canyons. Try drifting around the corners, but mind the walls! |

| I used the Ford GT with all performance options. It isn't the best in the corners but it catches you up fast. Its not cheap though so I recommend that you just start over. The skyline is good but the GT will get the job (and most other for that matter) done. No matter what car though, its gonna be hard so just keep with it with the Z06. and if you do have to start over try to manage your money better. |
