A1: I beat him with a z06. tune it to accelerate and hold the lead for 10secs. In any canyon race if you pull ahead of them in the first race and hold it for 10secs you automatically win without a second race.

A2: All you have 2 do is get a tunner car(mitsubishi lancer (the one you get from kenji the second time in silverton)) the first trash the other's untill you get to darius. he dead hard in the race but the canyon he's yours. one of the corners will have a non breakable barrier, but he still takes the inside lane. simply over take him and keep the lead for 10 sec's and the games yours!

A3: I used the ford gt. I managed to pass at arounnd 80% of the race, Use the ford gt it has enough power to go pass the audi.

I did it with in the lotus, lamborghini murcialago (not very good on the turns though), nissan 350 z, nissan skyline, mitsubishi lancer. that is my suggestion to u. u can do it though just get in the zone and do it. lol peace one love jah rastafari.

A8: Use the evo. Tune it for acceleration on almost all tunable parts. Have full grip on the tires og and set it on oversteer. Race pakages makes it easier to beat him but with this tuning it pretty easy to squash him. After the race where you have to beat all three bosses its childsplay if you just remember to use all the shortcuts.

A9: Use the Ford GT, it handels good, and its the fastest car in the game(325mph) while the SLR(321mph), trust me you will smokehim easily!

Then you get to the canyon now on the you turns dont brake or drift just tap R1 then you will get round nicely when you have done all the you turns you are already 30% throught the canyon. Q: How do I get 1,000,000 as a balance in carrer mode for the Chevelle SS?

A1: Start a new career,if you have data files from NFS - Most Wanted on your memory card you'll get 10 000 as a bonus and aslo enter - D U L D R U Square triangle at the main menu for 10 000 extra , then buy the RX8. At the main menu again, enter the cheats for infinite NOS and infinite Crew Charge to give you an edge. Used the Blockers only. As soon as you unlock NOS buy it and use it non-stop throughout all the races and only buy the ultimate parts thereafter when you unlock them to save money. When you've fully worked your RX8 tune it for max hp. max top-end max velocity max grip and max rpm. You'll now be able to win enough races to make 1 000 000. Don't spend any money on the look's of your car until then and don't buy any other car and sell the cars that you win from any of the Bosses. After you've hit your total, you can then spend like a mad man!!!

A2: I found that you need a lot of luck I started with the berera and got the pink slips to all the rivals cars i kept the rx7 right until the last boss race where I needed a little more power so I won almost every career race and bought a evo bt u still gt a lot of money

A3: You keep one car and the when you face all of the boses after you defeat the get a pink slip and then go to the safe house and sell the slow cars then you should have 1,000,000

A4: When you start the game buy the camarro ss and when you unlock the nos upgrade buy it and dont buy any outher street package upgrade and then go to the main menu and enter the infinte nos cheat code and race the game and by the time you defeat darius you should have 1,020,000

A5: To get the $1,000,000 you need to conserve your money from the start of the game. The way i've done it is to never actually buy a new car untill you've made the $1,000,000. Start out with the RX-8 and only use the pro or race uprade packages if you have to use any at all. try and win all the bosses cars (i usually restart the game if I don't) so then you'll always have a fast car but won't have to buy one. it took me a few trys but I beat the boss using the aston martin DB9, and after that I had over $1,000,000.

A6: I played 1 carrear through then got busted on purpose by the cops so I could start a new game with all the cars still unlocked...then I played until I had enough to buy a dodge viper (which was already unlocked.) I used that the rest of the way stock to beat the game. This leaves u with over 1,000,000. keep ur starting car so u can sell the viper at the end to make an extra 75,000.

A7: I've tried getting busted and my cars are NOT still unlocked the only way I can see winning if you've beaten career mode and won all the races already would be 1000 free roams... which would be completely and utterly a waste of time

A8: Well what I did was I beat it and only had 432,000 and I was left with a viper that wasn't worth anything so I did 700 races and got 1,000,000 bucks to buy the chevelle and the guy above me knows not what hes talking about because if your a true chevelle fan its definatley worth it

A1: Use a nissan skyline and take it nice and slow then a flat out on the last 50% and there you go try your best go luck

A3: The GTR - R34 is a good choice, though if you can handle the SLR Mac then all you need do is tune it for maximum acceleration - Engine max hp - transmission max acceleratoin - supercharger max at low rpm and most of all it needs all of the best parts on. Evern at these settings it still has a higher top end than what you would have on the R34 but you'll really need to be able to control the SLR cos the handling isn't as good as the R34, so try it out a couple of times through the quick race mode cos you can mod it for free if the parts are unlocked. If you're good then not only will you be able to swap paint but over-take him!!! Take it easy as you near the bends and accelerate hard out of them! Never ever panic and remember to BREATH!

A1: On the last part of the city look at the rewards if its not there then you will unlock it after you beat darius Good Luck use the slr

A1: My bro has had the same problem it I have clocked the game twice with the gallado fully suped up so that or I heard that the viper is a reeeealy fast car and the corvette i've clocked the game with all three cars so try that

A2: You have to get a perfect launch at the start. And the fifth left as you turn it use speedbreaker and head right through a shortcut hit the middle of the board and you will be catapulted through the air into a cut in the corner

A3: OK I have betten the game twice, and I know darius is very hard to beat. But you can beats him, ok first finish all of the races {own all the territory} By the mercedes benz maclarin/ fully load it and on the options when you buy the tranny-more top speed than acceleration. When you buy the nos-more duration that valosity. And for the turbo/supercharger-more horsepower that torqe. O once done race darious, watch your corners, dont wipe out, take all the short-cuts, and watch your nos! Hope I helped.

A4: Well if you have enough money and have unlocked the nissan skyline gt-3 buy the car I just mentioned and fully supe it up so when you come 2 face Darius your car will be easier to turn corners and Darius' car isn't very good on turning so when you get up to the canyon race and when you get up to about 60-80% there are two hair pins pass then turn the corner and accelerate to gain speed you should try to pass Darius and if you hold it off for 10 seconds you will win the race and you dont have to do the second leg.

A5: Here is the problem: your're murcielago is too fast for its handling(all exotic cars are like that an that is the weakness) Brake all the time and if you have an opportunity rm him and you wil pass him do not worry of losing your're points it is just 5000.If he repasses you dont worry you got a bunch of points don't crash an you win!

A6: Okay what u have to do is stay on his tail and you notice on all turns he slows down like hell and then move to the side and then your car boosts with acl and overtake it in a place where is easy to hold him for 10 secs

A7: I have the mercedes benz slr mcglaren and I can beat them with infinite nitrous and speed breaker or w/e (just the cheats that are infinite) but I cant quite get the last race in bc its a carbon and I dont have the racing breaks on the mcglaren so I go off the edge ... and I dont have enough money to get them! and theres no more races

A8: Well what I tryed to do to beat him was in the canyon duel insted of turning try cut him off in the first corner and as you hit him try find a way to turn so u get in front of him and if you do it properly you should win but u gotta stay in front for 10 seconds. I used a corvette no nitro and hardly done up so id try use a muscle car

A9: It's difficult but can be done.I won the final series of battles against Darius and friends with my fully modified Skyline and careful attention to car set up! I believe Nikki was my active crew member as I didn't know there was any difference in the outcome no matter who I was using.She seemed to get in my way an awful lot too! (quite aggrevating)I tuned my engine on the torque side of the set-up,trans on acceleration,suspension for understeer,brakes for rear bias,tires set for grip,nitrous for max velocity and turbo for high rpm.I would always start off using my nitrous to gain a killer launch and get rolling and then just drive my ass off allowing the nitrous to build back up for future use which is a definate must especially when holding off the audi lemans! Oh and when racing Darius down the Canyon without the assistance of the nitrous,DRIVE YOUR ASS OFF!!! You will have to get really mad and into your "ZONE" before you will conquer the final 5 part challenge( I think it's 5?)You will need to dedicate yourself to some time on this one and probably have to restart a few times along the way but rermember,Once you start you cannot stop until the "D" man is defeated! Good luck! It can be done ! I hope these hints may be helpful to you but keep in mind that these set up numbers are appropriate for "my driving style" and may not be well suited to yours! thedeanoman

A11: First of all, get the McLaren. The car is incredibly fast when you supe it up. And it's handling is unbelievable. Then when your in the canyon and going to hit the sharp turns ( or any races with really sharp turns) since you can't use your speedbreaker, or you just don't want to, Hit that e-break and regular break at the same time. You practice this enough, You'll be hittin those corners at 100+ easy. Just practice with it.

A13: Okay I had a maxed out porsche carrara gt and what I tried is that on the first turn in the canyon duel I cut him off and drifted the turn so that I am in front of him and I just stayed in front of him for ten sec. it too me a while but I ended up passing him for ten seconds in about 5 tries

A15: I beat the entire game with a stock Viper....so don't say that it isn't possible... On the street race with darious, u need to take every short cut (there are three at least.) The first 1 at the beginning is crucial...if he follows u on the first 1 then just restart the race, it isn't worth wasting ur time, he will pass u on 1 of the upcoming turns....It is also always important to keep him behind u so if he tries to jet by u, u can block him...If he gets in front of u, the race is pretty much over...speed isn't really the answer here; u need 2 be able to take very sharp corners otherwise, this is where he will pass u...It will take a bunch of tries, but eventually u will be able to take all the shortcuts withoutnhim following u and u'll beat him.... As for the canyon duel...this is a different story...I found that with the stock viper, I couldn't pass him on the first turn and not fall of the cliff on the second...but i'm not saying it couldn't be done...ANyway, I think your best bet is to just try and stick with him all the way down...It's a canyon duel, there's no easy way to beat it...Just love that restart button dude....u'll eventually get it!

A16: Use a z06,viper or any other fast mucle cars. tune them max and try to find some shortcuts. put the inf speed breaker and nos and use them until the finish line, always put on bumper view and have a perfect lauch when u past him in a canyon or 1-1 race, pay attention to the rearview mirror. when he comes, try to block his way, he will put on a full brake and that will give u some time and if u are lucky, he will bang u and give u some speed. I am telling that will work to any racer too and "OH LOOK!! DARIUS UST CRASHED INTO A CAR"
