A3: I dont think you can use a controller in the GH series unless it's a guitar controller. if im wrong, that is gonna be soo hard to play it.

A5: Yeah my little brother uses the controller and he can almost keep up with me on expert. Orange on the ps2 controller is the X button.

A6: (L2) is green , (L1) is red, (R1)is yellow (R2) is blue and (x) is orange. Left joystick is the thing you make the line wiggle with , select on the controler is for star power it isnt really that hard. its just like hitting the notes on time on the guitar without struming.

A7: You can play with a controller but I don't recommend it because it's actually much harder than it appears. Anyway why use a controller when its more magical using the guitar?

A1: You might be strumming up and down. don't do that; if you do, you have heck trouble fretting. just practice moving your pointer finger.

A8: Ry using your thumb to pick. set it above the strum key, and down pick. the only time that you really need to do alternate picking, is on the REALLY close notes, like at the last 10 seconds or so of Hanger 18

A9: When a note of the same color is apearing more then once in a role you can hold down that color and just strum it instead of wasting enegy by contiuosly pressing the color and strumming.

Q: How can I keep the rock meter green?

A1: Hit as many notes an you can and try to get combos. If you det to at least 3x youll make it to green.

A3: You just have to hit as many notes as you can make use of star power aswell

A4: To keep your rock meter green all you have to do is don't suck and strum most of the notes in a row

A5: Start playing and get the rock meter green then reset the song and when the song restarts your rock meter should be green

A6: Basically, you have to get as many notes correct as possible. The more notes you miss, the more notes you get incorrectly, and the more stray notes you make, the more the bar will lean toward the red.

A1: Um if you want a ful rock mete just dont miss a note, if you dont then your x2 x3 x4 ect stuff stays and u get high scores

A2: Go to training on the main menu then go to tutoring. it shows you everything!

A3: There is a cheat for it but I dont use it though.

Q: Is there a way to do career in co op mode?

A1: No there is no career mode in co-op (which is ashame because that would be awesome). However, you get scores and ratings in co-op for the songs and there are 8 bass guitars that can be unlocked by playing songs in co-op mode

A1: Thats on the Xbox 360 GH2 game

A2: Umm im not positive but.. I hear theres a way you can reassemble your ps2 to put any song you want on there, my friend is doing it, getting a song called rock lobster.. dont ask.

A3: U cant get it on the ps2. its on x-box 360

A5: To do this you can either Hard Modify your Ps2 with your choice of chip or you can Soft Modify the Ps2. I personally perfer soft mod cause you can easyly do it. When the Ps2 is modified, you have to find a program to add to your Ps2, like mine cog-swap, to detect a Burned Dvd Ps2 game. The QUALITY OF THE MEDIA MATTERS! - This is for booting reasons. There is a whole entire world of things you can do with a modified ps2 such as put your own games that you have bought on to a Hard drive that is compatible to the Ps2 and play it never lose it or scrach the darn thing. I myself have just made a beta version of my CUSTOM Guitar Hero, so therefore whomever is saying that it is not true is a Deet Dee Dee! I rewrote the entire setlist except the Extras and the song Freya (for some reason this is close to the samples you hear when selecting a song so DON'T MESS WITH IT, unless you know what you are doing).

A6: There is no "Last Resort" on 360 version.

A7: You can't get that song unless you change the regalr songs in there with a MOD chip.

A2: Put a rubber band on the green button so you wont have to play all five notes

A4: That is for Gh1 not 2 I am legally blind and play ok I mean its hard but I do it and Free Bird is a pain in the rear too fast

A1: PAL is simply a different format that works with different tvs. In the US and some other places, we use NTSC.

A1: It is not possiple, you will have to buy the gutair to use the cheats.

A2: Sorry,it isn't possible to enter cheats like that,you need to go out and buy a giutar hero 1 or 2 controller

A5: You can enter cheats, but the dual shock controllers have a delay with games like guitar hero and time crisis and other not pad-style games, so it makes it much harder to enter the cheats fast enough

A1: The code is right. You just have to enter it really quickly. And if you enter it, it disables autosave. So you can't save it after that.

A2: You are just pushing the buttons right ? no strumming just quickly enter the code using the fret buttons

A1: You have to play the career mode on medium, hard, or expert to buy stuff from the store.

A2: You might notice that you aren't getting paid. This is probably because your Career difficulty is set to easy. You only get paid on medium, hard and expert. Once you get paid, you can go to the store.

A3: You cant go into the store yet atleast not in easy in any other level you'll make money in your career then you can go to the store and buy songs/people/guitars/outfits/& videos

A4: You gotta play the game on medium, hard, or expert, but for now i'd finish the easy career so you have good practice. because once you get into those blu notes u really gotta get into the game

Q: How do I beat Jordanon expert. I get full star power on the first part but I still can't get past solos A and B. Anybody have any tips?

A1: Yeah you train your fingers to move quicker than is possible for most people, if you really want to see someone finsih it on expert go to youtube.com and look it up, then find the one where he simulcasts the game screen and himself playing the guitar..i haven't been able to do it yet either so don't feel bad

A2: You should go to practice mode and practice the sections you have troubles with. Practice them until you get 100 percent on each speed.

A3: When you get to the part in the song with the chunk of trills, realize that it's split in to two parts. You have to make it through the first part without star power. When you get to the second part, throw the star power (which has to be full). The star power should then help you survive most of the hard part of the solo. Work up more star powers for later.

A4: Sup man I have yet to beat jordan but i've gotten through 60% of the song. You have to practice the guitar break section so you will be green on your rock meter before entering the first kick your ass solo. try not to use your star power until close towards the end of the first solo half. The first huge solo isn't hard at all to stay in it. It is just overwhelming. We'll get it but hope this gets u a few percents further. Learn the song in training mode, master the course and you'll get there

A5: I heard somewhere that a guy used a rubber band on the green button in this song and it helped... a lot. he got almost every note. so, you should try it.

A6: Tame your hands to deal with the pain, the trick is to go through the first hard-as-hell solo without using star power. if you can achieve this, you can beat the song.

A7: It's gunna be a while 'til you beat Jordan. You gotta slow it down, preferably slowest, and then practice hammering-on and pulling-off. We all know what that is. It took me a week to beat it. but that's because I deticate time.

A8: You need to pay really close attention to individual note, and try hitting them don't just think of it as a down poor of notes

A9: 1. Practice a lot (gtr break, solos a, b, c, solo f and bridge) 2. You must have a full rock meter going into solo A, B, and C 3. You must have a full star power meter going into solo B 4. You must get through the first break in solo B before you can use your star power, or else you probably won't get to the BNOF 5. If you really want to challenge yourself, try to tap the solo. Its hard but its the only way possible to FC it (which has never been done lol)

A10: I can get through most of the beginning flawlessly, and then I get owned. exept for that one solo that repeats the same note four times and then switches... im really good at everything after that.

A11: It was crazy! I saw this guy on YouTube beat Jordan on Expert 95%. In the middle of the song he started mashing the buttons with both hands. Then he missed a note and I was like, "OH NO!" It was awesome though.

A12: What I did is I knew the solos would be a problemso I practiced them first then the rest of the song and then all together and got it 95% on xpert!

Q: I saw alot of songs like Bat Country and Whats My Age Again being played on You tube. It said Something abut custom sonds. Is there a way you put cutom songs on?

A1: You have to download software, and have a certain kind of ps2, and pretty much be a genius to put your own songs on GH

A2: On the Xbox 360 there is a way to download songs onto your console and play them through it; however there is not a way to do this on the Playstation 2.
