Yes from what Ive gathered in my experience is that if you give a certain swimsuit like (swimsuit A) playing as ayane and give (swimsuit A) to kasumi, then you play as kasumi she will have that set swimsuit (swimsuit A) you gave on as usable

Making friends doesn't mean making them your partner it means giving them all of your swimming suits. If you want to make a friend then you must send her all of your swimming suits but you have to buy them all yourself first.
