First off, at about 150 turns, the event 'The World is Round!' will appear.
Then, some unexplored map pops up on your minimap, and depending on your faction, you use Caravels or Carracks to cross the ocean and can go to Cuba, some bits of Norht America, and South AMerica. -

I believe the auto-win code only works if you simulate the battle, that is, not play it yourself. Make sure you're typing: auto_win attacker for when you are initiating battle or: auto_win defender when battle is initiated by someone else.
A2
:
The syntax is: auto_win attacker or auto_win defender.
A1
:
Get a ship out the farthest it can go out to see then when it cant go out no more you will be able to slowly make your way there
A2
:
Select boat and type move_character name x cord y cord eg move_character geiles 14 120 (carabiean I think 14 60 another just try cords till you get close land to off load ships)
A1
:
Ouch thats nasty mate, check out all your characters' influence on towns by looking at the difference they make when you place them in cities and out of them. I have the same thing sometimes, you have to sort out the financially adept characters from the inept. Good luck.
A2
:
Try to change our capital in middle of our kingdom.
Europe to the Moors
A3
:
Just use the add_money cheat to periodicly boost your amount of florins and when it starts to get low just do it again.
A1
:
Try pressing @
A1
:
You need to change screen resolution I think, you get your archers on the wall by moving in the view till you can see the top of the wall then same as any other move
A1
:
You can not
A2
:
Destroy there faction
A3

They cannot be accessed in the Grand Campaign on Medieval II. However you can unlock them by editing the descr_strat.txt file, although this makes the game rather unstable and prone to crashes, and it is therefore best not to try it.
The only other option is to buy the 'Kingdoms' Expansion, which allows you to play as the Aztecs and other native American peoples in the Americas campaign.
A4
:
Use the Kingdoms exspansion. The cheat doesnt work and will destroy your game. Thats what happened to me
A5
:
I found a way to play as the aztecs and the rebels wich I think is really cool and it hasnt effected my game yet but its hard to explain how to do it
A6
:
I keep trying the dscr strat thing and it wont work, it makes me rename the file and all that.
A7
:
Simple - change the file from 'read only' to 'write enabled'
A1
:
When the battle scroll comes up type this in exactly like you see it.Then hit enter on the keyboard and click the button that says "auto-retaliate"
auto_win attacker if your attacking
auto_win defender if you're defending
A2
:
If you are the attacker, then you have to type "auto_win Attacker"
if you are the defender, then you have to type "auto_win Defender"
A1
:
I type all my codes without quotation marks and they work just fine. Here's some examples:
give_trait Rufus GoodCommander 5
process_cq London
auto_win attacker
remove_ancillary Agnes secret_love
give_trait this HighPersonalSecurity 3
add_money 40000
add_population Cairo 4000
All those codes work, and without quotes. See if you can get them to work for you.
A2
:
You can only enter the codes without "s if the target has a single name, you need them for characters with more than one name, ie
"Malcolm Canmore"
"Louis de_Montfort"
etc
A3
:
That's because it's the " (shift + 2 key) not the ' (the console key) you should be using.
A1
:
To get ships just use lower case lettersfor the name of the ship. EG
create_unit "Rennes""carrack" 1 9 3 3
A1
:
In the descr_strat file a few lines down it should say timescale change this to what ever you want
A1
:

Try putting scare quotes ("") around the person's full name. Or use "this" while selecting the character.
A2
:
If it's someone with just two names, e.g Alexander Canmore, then you just type 'create_unit "Alexander Canmore" "Spear Militia" 5 0 3 3'. However, if it's someone with a three part name, e.g Charles de Marseilles, then you would type 'create_unit "Charles de_Marseilles" "Spear Militia" 5 0 3 3'.

You can't.
A2
:
Aztecs never really learned to use gunpowder they were killed off to quickly and they prefered live sacrafice and cutting peoples hearts out not so easy when the heart has a big hole and is alrady 50m from the body use other srengths like the jungle, ambush!
A3
:
The only native american factions that can destroy armies with gunpower and therefore use gunpowder are the Chichemec and the Apachean tribes. The Aztecs and other Meso-Americans cannot. (I have no idea why though)
A1
:
Ealy periods castles are the best for milatary but you cannot recruit spys, assasins or merchant etc.
But when you get into the late periods cities are the best overall as you can create gunpowder troops.
A2
:
Early periods you're bordering regions should be at least 50% castles to be able to produce strong infantry as well as calvary. Late periods it's good to switch to mostly cities for they have a strong economy to back the mercenary styled gameplay, but keep a port city as castle to recruit many late period calvary units to be able to counter gunpowder units.

Give_trait this GoodCommander 5
A2

Multiple names must be encased in quotation marks. For example Esteban Moretti would be "Esteban Moretti". Also do not add titles, like Crown Prince, or the Unstoppable.
A1
:
You right click on the file and select "properties". You then uncheck the "read only" button and your good to go.
A2
:
You have to save it in another place, delete the first file, and copy and paste it in. I also have windows vista so this works.
A3
:
You need to select the files in the Medieval folder to have Administrator access and able to edit it, you do this by right clicking on the folder - selecting properties - go to security tab - and select the account you are using - give this account full control over the folder...
This will allow you to Edit files as you like and save over the original, so I would advise you make a backup before trying this as it can and will mess up your game if you do not know what you are doing.
A1
:
No they never get to that point

Artillery has an additional designator that changes by faction. For example, Culverins, which Holy Roman Empire can have, are called NE Culverins. NE for Northern Europe. Artillery that is specific to a region will have designators like that. There is a file in the Data folder of your Game installation called "export_descr_unit" open it with notepad and it lists the names and stats of every unit in the game.
