Q:How do you use move and character reset for Turkish characters? this doesnt seem to work but it works fine for adding traits and ancillaries. I've tried Jalal, "Sultan Jalal", "Sultan_Jalal", "Jalal" but it says character not found. His full name is Sultan Jalal the Conqueror
A1:
Select the character on the map screen then use "this" instead of the character's name, also you need to ignore titles so its Jalal whatever his surname is if you can't select him on the map. If you don't know what his surname is all you can do is select him on the map and use this to tell the computer it is him you are refering to.
A2:
"Jalal ad-Dawlah"
A3:
Check the full name of the character from the family tree. Sultan Jalal's lastname is ad-Dawlah, you can find the lastname by checking the lastname of the character's wife and children. For Sultan Jalal:
character_reset "Jalal ad-Dawlah" it's a hyphen, not an underscore.
For most of the other names, it's an underscore:
move_character "Salih al_Alai" 120,121

don't forget to add (amount) florins. I don't know if it works wihout florins but it didn't work without it for me. O yeah 40000 is the highest like what the other person said.

Just type the following all in lower case:
add_money 40000
this will give you 40000 gold which is the max per cheat, this can be repeated multiple times

Well for the cannon part I am as baffeled as you but I can tell you that to get a unit with 2 names do the fllowing press ~ then type in
create_unit London "Pavise Crossbowmen" 5 9 3 3

You just add the name as said in the unit profile. Also universal units (units with the same name that are available to multiple factions) tend to be glitchy. Some two named units do not work though.
A4:
To create units with two word names, use quotation marks arund the words. For example, to create 4 units of max level/armor/wpn Teutonic Knights in Frankfurt, one would type:
creat_unit Frankfurt "Teutonic Knights" 4 9 3 3
Seige Artillery units are two word names, with NE (for Northern European units) preceding the unit type. For example, to add 4 trebuchet with max xp/armor/wpn in Frankfurt, type:
create_unit Frankfurt "NE Trebuchet" 4 9 3 3
I'm uncertain the prefix for middle easterm, byzantine and other Europe region seige artillery units.

Units with two names need to be in parenthesis and capitalized properly.
Siege requires NE or ME as the first name, siege name last
ME for Middle Eastern and NE for basicaly European.
EX: create_unit London "NE Trebuchet" 3 9 3 3

I think you would have to find the appropriate files to give the mongols a territory and a leader. I used to alter the original medieval tw so every territory was a rebel one, except the capital territories.

You can't be Mongol but you can use Mogol units with "create_unit" thing. Mongol Heavy Lancers, Mongol Infantry and Mongol Heavy Archers are some units.

make sure you put spaces, and I think you can put the name instead of "this" if you want...

In some cases, (example, the name is John Blacke) and you want to give him "GoodCommander" 5, then you would go into console, click on him, and type
give_trait this "GoodCommander" 5

The Americas will be discovered between turns 160-164.
Once they are discovered you must build specal sea-going vessels such as caravels,caracks,and grand caracks to get there.
You will know that America has been discovered by recieving a message saying that the world is round,or by seeing a black patch of unexplored land to the west of Spain,the only other way to know that America has been discovered is to look at your recruitment pools and check to see if you unintentionally constructed advanced ports by looking for ships such as caravels,caracks,and grand caracks.

Its just a glitch that happens if you use cheats on some of the units thats all.. It happened to me once.. I was wondering what was up. Yeah, its just a glitch thats all.. Hey.. if it bothers you that much, just think of it as you havinmg a unit of Silver Surfers

I had a similar thing with Longbowmen, where everything works except the units themselves are invisible...

I had the same problem. It's like that because if you have created a unit that is from another faction (like longbowmen when you are France). If you're worrying, don't.
