Need For Speed: Carbon

When tuning a car, say you have all stages unlocked. Now can you skip the first stages and just buy the best one and get the same performance? Or do you get more horsepower, torque, speed, and what not buy buying all of the stages? I just want to make sure I am not wasting my race winning money. Can someone please help?

I figured this one out myself so I guess I can answer my own question. When tuning a car you do not have to buy every stage you can buy just the last stage your car will end up with same horsepower, speed, handling, etc. I bought 2 of the same vehicles and one I did buying stage one then two then three and so on and then with the exact other car I just bought the last upgrade stage and everything was equal so anyone else who comes across this and is wondering about it, if you are able to win races and unlock the next upgrade package for example the engine upgrade then just buy the last stage it saves money and nothing at all is lost performance wise. Also if anyone is wondering I did not save the game after this test, I just did it because I needed to know if anything would be gained or lost with the overall performance. -Answer by:dutdanut

Silverton is the red area on the map that Darius controls but you will be unable to go to and race there until all three bosses are deafeated

Simple my friend, you cant have custom cars in career mode. they are customly made by EA and having them in career mode would make it too easy and thats why you cant have reward cars in career mode either. its considered cheating.

There are 5 heat lvls. the only time that there would be a higher heat lvl is when you play challenge series.
8 heat levels but you can only go to 5 in free roam. The rest is in the challenge series

The best thing I can say is that you can only get the camaro in NFS Carbon collecters edition. Bad thing is, NFS Carbon collecters edition is only for the Ps2 and PC. I hope this helps.

Your internet is slow. it will cause that effect and when it can no longer communicate proporly, it will time out the network. If you have broadband then try connecting the system in with and ethernet instead of wireless.

There is a tune setting in fact. but first, I want to tell you this. (example of a car with tune up) corvette with max parts has a top speed of 200 MPH. a corvette that is tuned up goes 250 MPH with great handling! to achieve this, you ave to do exactly this. Engine=333 (all blocks to the right), Transmition=333 (all blocks to the right), suspension varys from car to car, N2o=111 (all to the left), tires and brakes vary as well, and finally super charger or turbo 333 (all blocks to the right). once your car is tuned, save it and go to free roam. once in free roam, go all the way to one of the starting points of the highway and then rip your cars exaust out. using your N2o would get your car up to top speed faster. you would think tuning up a car for top speed would decrease acceleration but it actually makes acceleration faster! if you want my corvette's handling settings then here you go. suspension= 222 all blocks in the middle, tires set to drift, and lastly brakes= 111 all blocks to the left so only the back brakes can function causing the corvette to rip up corners fast when the back of it turns.
Do all the levels that unlock performence parts, gain a lot of cash and go to the safe house. Go to performence and press square to optimize your performence than all the performence parts will be added to your shopping cart

I tried it with a Lamborghini Gallarado and that's not the case. the best car to use would be a Corvette. This entire game is about acceleration, and that car has the best. The second car to use would be the Ford GT, because it is pretty good all around. Good luck!

I would use the viper srt 10 I always kick his butt with it.once you buy it jack it up and make go alt least 210 mph and he will be smoked.

Use the Corvette and tune it out fully. That should do the trick. Also, be very lucky because I beat him with 10 left.

Simple my friend. there probably different teir cars. teir 1 parts are unlocked in the first city you race in. teir 2 parts are unlocked in the next two cities. finally, teir 3 parts are unlocked in th finall city that you unlock
