Try changing your wii remotes sensitivity. mine used to do it too. just practice. you cant use speedbreaker during a canyon duel, so dont get used to it.

Either get a new car or tune up your present one
Use rx-8 max all things race package then beat him in the city to beat him in canyon hold down the gas the whole time with over steer button also on both times and you will win
Its easier to start of with a tuner career, then once you beat kenji and get his car, use unlimited noss when racing wolf, and if you stick close into the corners going down the canyon, you should be able to pass him.

A tuner has very good handling, a muscle has very good acceleration, and the exotic has more speed than muscle and tuners. Personally, I would go with the tuners because you can upgrade everything to be just as good as muscles and exotics and still have excellent handling.

Its because darius has already accumulated more points following you than you did him so you automatically lose.
The 1st time you get points the 2nd time he takes them
In the canyon races time gets added on for how close you are to passing up your opponent. So on the second run how close your opponent is time gets deducted

You can it takes some time but you can get any. Go to from the main menu and go into cards. Torwards the bottom you will see the police civic, under cover civic, police rihno and police chaser. each you can unlock by doing doing the requirments that the card tells you about.
Set sampson as your active crew member to raise the money. then in silverton, depending on which car class you chose, you will unlock it in a race or by aquiring territory.
Ive passed the game I used the exotic car I finished all the drifts with a mucsle car when all the drift were done I sold it I finished all 3 boss and what I did is got enough money to buy the Mercedes mclearan if you buy that and modifie it you can beat Darius np. Hope this helps.

A Mitsubishi Lancer with the stock spoiler, Body kit 2 and all performance parts will work the best I even beat Darius with it

I beat darius with a Viper. I tried a million times to pass him, but I couldn't, so I finally just decided to follow him down, and have him follow me, and I made by the skin of my teeth. Just keep pressing 1 (break,) and A (oversteer,) and you should be able to beat him.
I have beaten darius 4 times with a lancer and all I have used is nitrous and tires, the rest of the car is all stock. darius is intimidating on straights, but is alot easier to pass through corners

Why do you want to do 20 defensive races?
Get to races using free roam you will encounter more defensive races

You must do every reward card in one career. If you restart career, it deletes ALL game data except for saved Ghosts for tracks. -Answer by:LSA2013
The more you race in one area, the more people start looking for you, the more defensive races you will win
You will need to leave at least three races undefeated and wait untill someone challenges
Just exit out of the game. on mine I just exit and then I put the cheat back in again next time I play.
Go to the menu that has quick race then enter left up left down left down right is infinite nitrous the enter down right right left right up down one
Save up money and buy the viper and use nitrous cheat and beat him by drifting on corners
Set your crew member to Samson to get 10% more cash (eg:$500 + 10% = $550) and save up to get a Ford GT. Don't put on any vinyls so you can upgrade it full. Then just beat Kenji,Wolf and Angie in the canyon and the city to go to Darius.

It is quicker to raise your cash bu having nevvile in your crew, because he adds an extra $200 to the $500 you get anyway,(eg $200 + $500 = $700 and if you have samson as well, that makes a total price of $750)

DODVE VIPER! its acceleration is the best in the game, therefor it can over take Darius easily in the canyon. Just make shure the performance is toped.
Nissan 350z. its got great handling.
Mercedes Mc Laren it might not have a s much acceleration then the viper but it has one hell of a handeling thats what I used to beat Darius
I beat darius about 5 times already I used the supped up viper...you may crash alot, use e brake on turns but the torque compensate for it

First get a tuner to start with. Then complete the race with nitro with one of the rewards and buy only the nitro. After that win all the races in Kenji's turf until he challenges you wait and upgrade you car but you will be missing something. Forget about it. Then challenge him. Once you win pick the 4th question mark for his car then any other. Next go to Wolf's or Angie's turf. If you go to Wolf's turf, win all the races and after you beat him pick the 1st question mark for his car, do the same with Angie but pick the 3rd question mark. Then use the cheat unlimited nitro and race until you unlock the car you wan't then sell all your and you should have $1,000,000.

Just stay close behind hold the gas on the antire time but use the e brake to corner.
On the turns let go of the gas and say on him.
Get a Corvette or a Viper, and speed past him right from the start. Hold your position for 10 seconds, and you have him. This applies to Kenji, Folf, and Angie.
Kengi goes wide around the corners, aslong as you stick close into the corners, you should sale past him and staying infront is easy
