Yoshi's Island DS NDS Q&A

Q: I cant get past 4-4 I can get the numbers but its the falling rock I cant get past I have tried pressing "y" with baby mario but I still cant get past it. Please help me!?

A1: Get as close as you can to the pink bubble on the left right as the falling block hits the ground the 2nd time hit your left arrow key to bounce off the bubble...this will shoot you right past the falling blocks

A2: Turn into mario and hold down Y button and run

Q: I need help in killing the big fish in 3-4. I don't know what to kill him with and which charcter to be. please help?

A1: It dosent matter what charecter you are but I did it with dk you have 2 hit the fish whilst he is coming down at you

A2: You need to wait until it jumps out of the water. Once it is coming back down fire an egg into its mouth. You ned to do this 3 times. Watch you dont get eaten though

Q: I cant seem to pass the rocks falling in world 4-4. Yoshi always gets smashed under the rocks and I dont know how to avoid them.?

A1: U have to be mario and hold down y to use his dash

A2: It is like realy imposible but I die all the time I did do it once on the two version but I died later on you go on the edge at the left with mario hold y then go right at a good time it is hard

A1: U have to hit him in the lava use bowser and fireball him into lava

A1: Well, its easy, actully. When you jump on the clouds that have faces on them, it will act like one of those small white balls with arrows on them. I mean, you can jump higher on them!

Q: When you try to beat bessie bass do you throw the egg at its mouth when it jumps super high or can you throw an egg when it just jumps normal?

A1: It's easier to aim at the fish's mouth when it jumps high but i'm not sure if you can defeat it any other way

Q: In World 4, level 3,'In The Clouds', after you get to the middle ring on that level, I know how to use the boxes but how do I get on to the land area? (if you get what I mean) because you know all them boxes and you hit the ones with the arrows and it will give you more boxes to stand on but it will take away other boxes. HOW DO I GET ONTO THE LAND AREA OF THAT PART?

Q: How do you get the floating question mark in 2-4 everytime i attempt to thrown an egg I have to jump and end up in the lava?

A1: What u need 2 do is get baby mario and stand as close to the edge as you can. Then aim at the wall across from you 2 bricks from the top. The egg should bounce off and hit the winged ?. hope this helps.

A2: I dont really know but hit him a 100000 times

A3: In order to kill him you have to hit him like 4 or 5 times... Im not sure but its not many at all... the key is that when you throw the eggs you dont throw them too high up... it has to hit him right in the face... The best way to explain it is that when browser is on one side of the screen (lest say the right) you be in the other side if the screen... so you're gthrowing the eggs on an angle instead of straight up.. every time you hit him ... he will glow.. hope it helps :D

A4: You hit him with an egg... wait a second 3 the first plus 6 (after he grows)... 9 times you hit him with an egg

Q: 3-3; I keep looking and looking, but I can't find the second key to that door that was locked heip!!!?

A1: I looked in every tube but I could'nt find that key.

A2: If you go down.. I think maybe the second or third tube. there is a vase above you. push it along to the opening so it smashes and the key is inside! x

Q: I cannot get past level 2-8. I get past the first part, through the tunnels, but once I get out of the tube and into an area with platforms and water, I cannot figure out how to get past. I have changed to every baby to try to make blocks appear or fly or swing but nothing. I am stuck! Help!?

Q: How do I beat the giant plant in world 2-8?

A1: Get on the rock. get off the rock when you see an x on the rock or on you. when the plant eats the rock and goes up again hit the plants tough. keep this up till you beat it. it take 2 to 3 hits.
