Spectrobes
I belive that you need a corona based search spectrobe to find it.
First you need to have a child that can search minerals.second you have to defeat the boss then you search directly under where he was.
Its directly in the middle of the mountain top thing.

HelpfulIt is there, but you have a very low chance of finding it. So you have to keep on trying
Both the mesapod and mossapod fossils are at the table top mountains (daichi area 1) you need a corona suit to live while in the mountains. both fossils are found in the area where the daichi boss is fought (the tree stump), but neither fossil is on the tree. search by the purple spots on the ground next to the tree, after awhile you should be able to find one. there is only about a 10% chance of finding either one so it may take awhile. I have found both so I know.
Its hard to find since there extremly rare!(misspelled)
I found both fossils on my first try and have ever since its not a random spawn itll always be there you just have to have a lvl 7 fossil search child spectrobe

Well U probably got to the second cave right? From there go to the very top and you will see a dead end. Go down 1 tree and Immediately right. I bet you thought that was a dead end :)

Put your spectorbe into the inbuator in the lab systemthen if you see 3 star like things going aroun it's head then touch your spectrobe then you will see an egg move your stylus around it till you see your specrtobes adult form or you go to a planet and get out of the ship walk then thuoch your child specrtobe or hold r when you see a blue light it's a mineral when you see a yellow light it's a fossil and when you see diffrent colours it's a cube then you use your tools to dig it out but be care full not to break the item you found then you go back to the incubator to feed it to the spectrobe for it to be able to change to adult form
Mine are lvl. 50. they both evolved at lvl.47
U have to get the upilson cube under a tree on kollin to get the evolved form of the spectrobes
Most evolve at level 80-102
Some spectrobes need lvl for evolve other need def or att or hp, above a sertant lvl before it can evolve (it also takes a difrent amount of time for them to evolve from 15min to 5 houers for longest)

The other 4 spectrobes you have will lend power in battle (also known as back-up spectrobes). to see what power it gives you in battle look at one of your back-up spectrobes by using the lab system or your prizmod. for the prizmod go to status and tap on a spectrobe you should see a box that says support. that box shows you what support that spectrobe gives in battle. for the lab system go to line up. when you get there you should see a box in the middle of the screen that says support. that box shows you all the support from each spectrobe added up. the more bars that are going up in the support box the better. if they go down it's bad. to see a spectrobes support just press on the spectrobe and hold down the sylus ( if you don't hold down the sylus you'll only see it for a second, so hold down the stylus on the screen). you should once again see a box that says support, that box shows you what support that spectrobe has to offer. and that is how you get energy from other spectrobes in battle.

Use your spectrobes on it first until it puts up its shield then use your geo then use your spectrobes aigan

You can keep on using your combo until its down to the 600s then break its shield with your geo keep on using combo again until in the 300s and then finally use your strongest spectrobes single special attacks.

Go and walk up to it and battle it
I reccomend standing to the side and waiting until the main body, Gyraforma, launches an attack, then using a stong melee move. If you have a ranged spectrobe, use that constantly. You only have to beat the large, main one. the other two, smaller ones just heal and fire energy balls. So, just target all your attacks to the large one, and dodge the incoming attacks. If you end up with just Rallen, use his blaster and keep dodging the balls. Good luck!
Keep on using the charge move. Then when the krawl is on 11-16 life points, use the level 4 or 6 blaster. Bingo! It's pretty cheap.
You have to majorly lvl up you guys or, use a combination attacks, hold a until filled up, hit y, then hit l&r
Try to dodge the big guy and smash the kittle ones first. Then use the CH attack a lot until his life is around 17-27. Then either use another Ch move or use the blaster
I just evolved my spectrobs to final form,then its peace of cake. Attack is 130 . Ou ye,better to kill boss adds,they blasting 3 annoying balls .
This is the long and easy way but it's the way I did it. Right if your spectrobes fall don't worry get out your blaster and start blasting and doge attaks.

I read that it was at the boss aria at table top mountain on the second planet.

It is on the second planet on tabletop mountain in the same are where you fought the leader krawl and dug up the diamond mineral(look around entrance right before the tree stump)
Go to nessa area 2 and walk along the wall on the right untill you get to a drop off (its really close to your ship) and search it may take a couple of times.

Evolve minerals can be aquired in 3 ways: search around the desert in nessa area 2 and excavate them (very hard to find), beat 30 krawl battles in the black hole in nessa area 2, or get them from the action replay ds cheats.
If you go through the blue rocks twice in Nessa, go straight down. There should be a giant,non-moving,black hole. Enter it,& it should say,"Battle 1". Keep going until you beat the 30th battle.An easy way is by using the card input system(The Upsilon Cube under the tree in Kolin gets it working) and then get 2 out of 4 of these spectrobes, then level them up:

Go to area three and find the opening which you can o through and go into the temple and get to the end
You go to this planet (it looks like saturn) go thourgh the maze
Go to nessa area 3 and go leftwards.then go up .go trough 4 rocks forming a square shape.go in the building then go troughaportal you find keep adventuring until you see 3 dots on the floor . one red ,one blue ,and one red.
