You must wait until the party is split up and the empire has control of South Figaro. Then using Locke, you must go to the item shop, talk to the Merchment and steal his clothes. then go to the pub and down the stairs to the right and get the cider.

The 8 Dragons can be found at the following locations: Mountain at Zozo where you find Cyan, The Phoenix Cave where you find Locke, The magic tower in the third or fourth room, The snow above Narshe where you get Umaro, The Oprah house on the stage, The basement of Odin's Keep where you turn Odin into Radin, and the last two are at Kefka's final tower. (Don't worrie tho, you can kill the last two dragon's and leave again by going back to where you started and jumping back on the hook to get onto the airship :P)

At the far north of Narse (not outside)where you know tritoch esper where . He is now holding Mog (one of the playable characters), stand near to them and press A and wait for a second and Mog will wake up.

Ice dragon=narshe gold dragon=kefkas tower......red dragon is in the place where you fine locke in the wor=world of ruin..holy dragon is in the clut of kefka..earth dragon is in the opera house...skull dragon is in the kefka's tower.storm dragon is in mt.zozo(i hope you know where that is xd)and finally blue dragon is sort of tricky to get to..you go in the figora's castle..go left and talk to the moving old guy...when he tells you do you want to restart the engins say stay..or the other one then go right and go threw the dungen and then the cutsceen come's..after that go stright and get odin...then go in the right chair and move 5 times down the press a buttonthen go to the right and down(if you look at it lol)the you see a shinning light press a near it(forgot what it say's)and go down the stair'sand you see(bum bum bum) blue dragon...onece you beat him(if you took my guide)you will have beaten all eight dragons -_- your welcome!.. cya later

When you are just about to leave the floating island and jump on to the airship, don't, and wait a couple of seconds and he will show up and join your party for good.
The correct answer is not to wait just a couple of seconds before jumping off the floating continent, you must wait until there is only 5 seconds left. Then Shadow will appear.

What do you do if you get stuck in Narshe after you get the airship but you can't get to the airship?

In narshe
Once you have the Airship in the World of ruin, go to castle Figaro. Talk to the old man that drives the castle and go to South Figaro. Halfway, the castle will catch on something and he will ask you if you would like to check it out. To the stairs on the rightyou will find a cave. At the end of the cave is the Ancient Castle. Inside is the Blue Dragon and Odin. -Answer by:wicken5
Well first you have to reach the ancient castle!then you must go to the room where is king's and queen's chair!then go on queen't chair,then go 5 steps down and press A!then the secret path will open!do to odin's room and there is the secret path and the dragon!

To the far East of Vector. You will find a place that looks like a cabin, but you go into it and its really the Imperial Outpost. Don't forget to bring Terra along she is the last ray of hope for the espers. Go up the staircase, go all the way East and there's another staircase. Just go down and left. You will enter the, "Cave to the Sealed Gate"
