My demand for residential zones are way up, andf I built a huge residential zone with all the proper needed things (water, electricity, etc.), but monly 6 hosuses have been built there, and my demand is still really high. What to do?
Question from: mediumaster(979)
You should click the arrow at the bottom-left of the screen it will make time go by faster. Just keep building residential zones until another demand pops up. Also try to increase land values.
Make sure there is access to the zones. Things won't build in the middle if roads don't reach there.
Bild it cloce to water
Make sure all the zones are 4 or less spaces from the road
Save exit and reload.

Put them onto your powerplant and then give it about a month to produce enough electricity

You can try building zones next to eachother when you do that zones that are powered transfer energy to any zone within a four tile radius

A1:

Most probably your taxes have been at 7% (or higher) for too long... To invigorate your city you should lower taxes, and keep supplying power.

You don't trade, but you can go to the post office option and exchange letters and landmarks. -Answer by:mediumaster
A2:

You can trade. All you have to do is connect a road, a railroad, power lines, and either a water tower or pump station at the end at the city's edge, which are the last blocks before the blue area.
A1:

Yes but only with an action replay. it comes with a max fund cheat
A2:

Increase the tax to 22% on the last day or two. Then drop to nil for rest of month.
Remove unneeded stuff, and fill in some water spots for land. -Answer by:mediumaster
Destroy low r zones and put med & heavy r zones
Demolish water, demolish trees, add all high volume zones. Increase land value like mad (3 water fountains, one park and one pond for each plot of 3x3 land might sound too much but it does do the trick). Either that or start from scratch and restructure your whole city.
A1:

Get action replay
A2:

You could also go to the budget sheet two days before the end of the month and increase tax to 22% temporarily.
A1:

Ages are in Sim city Creator
A1:

Go to the budget sheet, and go to exp(expenses) and you can change funds.
Restart ( you don't have to) to a new city, Go to the area that is basic (with 100,000 funds) and try to avoid what YOU think you were doing wrong. -Answer by:Tjxx8
This may raise pollution, but you need to build more power plants. They are being destroyed because they are generating too much electricity for them to handle. -Answer by:mediumaster
I read it in the instruction booklet that if you press the question mark in the bottom right corner and then press the power plant and wait for a bit, it says how long the power plant will run until it explodes. Demolish the old power plant and put in a new one.
I have no idea whether this works or not, not having the game myself but I read elsewhere that the solution could be to blow into the microphone.
I think second 1 is right, my water things wouldnt stop blowing up so I put heaps in, hasnt happened since, same with power plants
Build more power plants because otherwise they are producing to much elektricitie and they will explode
Mine blew up too. then I put 2 plants in and no kaboom
Tap on question mark than read what it says under 'consumption' if it says 'very high' build another power plant. (To avoid pollution chose an as clean plant as possible - the more to the right side in the list the more clean it is.)
You could also put a power line to the map edge and start a contract to buy power.
Your power plants can only live so long....like on the computer version when they get old they explode
Blowing is what to do in a firestorm.
Either cut back on building and funding, or start a new city with basic funding ($100,000). -Answer by:mediumaster
Just build more efficiently one 3x3 commercial zone for every 3 3x3 residential zone and eventually you will start to turn a profit.
The rci demand bar usually has alot of residential demand, take advantage of this and put in as much as you can, start with everything like hospital, fire police etc, this worked for me and when you make more profit put the taxes down by 1%, this helps the city to continue growing
Lower funding for school, fire station etc.by 2(or more)% and raise I,C,R taxes 2(or more)%.I,m so sorry if it dosent work
Use alot of industrial in your city.it brings in loads of cash
