Try unlocking the fields, when you do that it will have some squares that you can plant and harvest. that is what I did to get plantable squares

Another way to plant during winter is to master the watering can. use the watering can everyday before winter. if you do that, you can use the upgraded watering can. and you must get the water for the can at the hotsprings. -Answer by:markavery

You should obtain the master's hoe & the monsoon watering can. You can find them in the treasure chests in the caves. Then you should fill the monsoon watering can with the water outside your barn.

Q:I cannot find the forth orange jem.....anyone know where it is? I read something about it being in the giant forest half hidden or something but I still cannot find it......thanks
A1:
The giant forest is a never ending forest of 2 fields. the first field is the one you enter first and the 2nd field is the one where you go left or right. it just repeat so it doesnt matter on left or right. so here it goes. go to the 2nd field,
there is an opening at the bottom of the rectangular hill at the middle. there should be one chest inside and an orange jewel in it.

Q:Hey, no one has answered this question yet. seriously. Masami gives you the 4th red gem to get into the lockes ground behind the elivator in the easter ruins, but how do you obtain the other 3 red gems? Do you hit rocks for them or what? I've opened all the chests I can find, both in the the cave by the hot spring ( I think that's what it is) and the cave you need the doctor's key for any I haven't found any. please help.
A1:
You need to go to the hermit (enter the second cave,then go to second door, continue until you go to some kind of dessert place. you'll find 4 path there,go to the 4th path,at the last. you'll find another 2 paths, go to the left path. you'll find a small house there,enter then you'll find the hermit. talk to him) he will open the way for you (the broken trees,on the left side outside the cave. you'll find alot of things there. (master's axe, 3 red jewels,yellow and blue jewel...more)

There's a 3rd cave, after having talked to the hermit, where there's 3 red jewels, a few other colored jewels, as well as your hoe lvl 2, axe lvl 2, scicle lvl 2 and some earth power sand. You need to explore some more around where the hermit is located. I think it's to the left of his hut.

I can't find the red jewels either! I've been searching in the cave that the hermit cleared the trees from. I found one red jewel, the ax, and the other thing [I don't remember right now!] I got the other red one from Masami! Can someone tell EXACTLY where the remaining are? [By the way, I already have a cat do I get another one from the Dr's cat?]

Q:I`m in the 24 day of the winter! so the water spirit ask me to find a fire spirit crest to enter a whole! anyone have idea where can I get the fire spirit quest?
A1:
To get the fire crest you must get all 4 green jems and unlock a field. then go to the 3ed cave and go to the very end, you then go to a roadish thing drive along it and you will se a door with a green dimond on it. you are now able to go throught the door. follow all the paths and eventually you'll find it

You will get the water in the hotspring going to the cave. if you obtain that, you will get the chance to water your crops in winter. -Answer by:markavery

Go to the mermaid lake, where the there is a cave which when you enter, it's sealed by a violet diamond door. but only stay out the cave, and stay infront of the lake. the gigantic mermaid would eventually approach you and tell you what to do next -Answer by:markavery

Q:Why we should collect plain ore for Dr. Hope? What's the benefit?
A1:
To allow him to upgrade your robot (Battlebot Forte) if you failed the small challenge of growing herbs in the festival cave (with the smoke).
Or maybe it's to allow a second upgrade, I don't know.
A2:
To allow Dr. Hope to add more options on your helper robot, Forte. 120 plain ores is the maximum number that he is asking for.

U have to wait untik 24 winter in front of dr.hope place and plant a lot of pointaisst flower the sprite will appear

In the forest where there was mist (that got removed by talking to the mermaid), right after crossing the root over the small river, where you see your first locked chest, back up a bit and look to the right of the path. It's semi-hidden behind a root/trunk

Q:How do I use a the rails and how does it actually work? no clue....
A1:
I guess you could use it to do more faster and easier on collecting u'r crops , 1st you should arrange the bas&ket L and I rail to an accesable railway , then you put the motor on the railway , put the cart exactly infront or behind the motor on the railway and push O to run it , you can ride it and put u'r basket on the cart , you can even upgrade it to more faster and powerful , it a lot of fun to even just ride it around u'r farm thought

n it will vanish by itself

You have to talk to the witch (... I think thats who it is,,) and she will move the trees for you.
