The same thing happened to me, play on co-op and have some one stand next to the shortest part of the bin (or what ever it is) and then jump on top of them, have them jump, and when their at their highest point you jump. Its the only way I've been able to get it.

Just in case: make sure you start from the beginning of the mission- skulls dont appear from the other points.
Well, first thing I can say is to activate the Cowbell skull, cos it gives a larger blast radius and thus higher grenade jumps. So, go to "The Storm", Fight through until you come to the wraiths. Avoid the wraiths, but take out the ghosts, they can hassle you. Go to the Silo and grenade jump to the roof. If it isnt there, you may have to destroy ONE wraith first. Then head up there again.You should get it. If not, then your game is most likely glitching out on you. The best way to figure when it appears and dissapears is to play through normally, then watch your reply and keep your eyes on the skull. -Answer by:Knightmare0100
Dont destroy the wraith by the door but you can destroy the wraith at the round biuldingand its on top of it oh and dont kill the people in the wraith by the door. and you got start from the begging of the mission and try in hard/normal. I did it in hard I had problems at first too though. plus I couldn't do it in 2 player if your trying that.
What you do is dont kill the two wraiths as soon as you do the skull disapears so when you go through the door to get to that area jump down to the right and there will be a warthog get in it and drive it to the tallish water tank looking thing park next to it and jump ontop and collect the skull. -Answer by:DJBillyBob
Look here, the trick is not to kill the wraith. the driver MUST be in the wraith for the skull to be there. if the brute isnt in the wraith, the skull dissapears. you must be on normal or higher to get it. fell free to destroy the aa wraith, but dont destroy the blue wraith. P.S: make sure all ghosts are dead or else it will get alot harder to get the skull because you will have about ten ghosts and a wraith trying to kill you. -Answer by:cheatycheat123

For an example on the second level in the barracks when you kill a brute instead of it saying you killed my freind they will say things like that was my lover or you killed my bed mate also in the beggininng of the game instead of johnson saying they must love the smellof green he will say they must love the smell of a bad**s lol

Ok here is a cool secret in forge the golden warthog
it is tuf to get ok get a friend to put you in a glitched vehicle then let him put you in the mine field now the glitch vehicle wil keep you safe but now the level will get ticked and the towers on the outside will shoot beams at you now after they all hit a noise will hapen now get out the level by glitching and grab the hog. -Answer by:vaan911

Secret plasmafire assault rifles i've seen it

Depending on how many skulls you have makes the achievments more eaiser to get so if you have them all turn them all on it makes the game alot harder but more fun and the rewards will come to you in no time. -Answer by:gaztron
The skulls are made specifically for two reasons.
1. Collecting them all unlocks the Hayubasa armour

If your talking about the achievements where you have to get at least 15000 points on a level like sierra 117 then my personal faves to put on our catch fog iwhbyd grunt birthday and thunderstorm these will give you a 8.5 multiplier and some fun with more grenades tougher enemies and no radar. mind you you have to be playing the campaign meta game and you have to be p[laying on legendary I beat the first leval with 22000 points and only diwed like 10 times in it to kill every enamie you encounter try not to die and stick back a little and take you time forget the time bonus its hard to get and it lowers your score if you do get it cuz that means you rushed through and didnt kill everything I beat the first lwevel in 45 min on leg so it can be done though

You cant get rid of it but when its thrown shoot a brute shoot grenade at it and it will explode in mid air or throw a frag at it
There is no way to get rid of the grenade once it has stuck to you you can try to kill others with it though.

I don't have Halo 3 but I use to have and one of my favorite weapons was the battle rifle I can never kill anything with the carbine.
It only works if someone sticks your gun stand on anothe gun switch with it before it expodes and get away
If it sticks your left hand ot your arm but right on the hand you throw a granade or a power drain and it gets rid of it

Land on the second tower, on the "Nose" of the tower, which is the long, outstretched walkway on the front of tower 2. Your wrong thats thunder storm to get cowbell go on the ark and go to the part where the brute pees (which is an easter egg)kill them then go to a stair case or slope that goes down if you look to your right you should see little lights on the ground put a grav lift on the fourth or fifth one going down then go on it while going forward on the fourth tunnel on the stair case is the cow bell skull (this might take a few tries)
Aw2 is right after you kill the scarab erlier on the ark with the tank by the way it takes forever if you dot have a tank so keep it go into the little outpost before youclimb all the ramps and grab a grav lift from the middle hold on to it ok then clmbe the ramp and youll get to a room eventually were youll find a bunch of grunts sleeping theres 2 rooms so watch carfully first room is in the beggining of the tower both rooms have brutes so heres a description of the rooms the one your looking for has a walkway abouty ot going around the room and it will habve a bunch of plasma batteries in it after this room is a downsloped walkway while at the beginning of the walkway klook down the ramp you will see 3 lights on the right side put your grav lift just to the inside of the ramp next to the middle lighte and fromthere you can run and jump on the grav lift to the left and jump up to the very top opening in the hall the skull will be there once again have to be playing on norm hero or leg
When you defeat the scarb you get a grav lift go to the place where you first see the levels through your grav lift get to the top ps if you dont through the grav lift in the right spot you cant get the skull

One is to lower your weapons: LB + RB + DOWN (D-Pad) + L3 (click the left stick) + A
Another is toggle panning camera: Left Analog-stick + click Right Analog-stick + LB + RB + Up/Left

On Campaign mode one of the levels has a dumpster and you need to have at least 3 people otherwise it will not work. two people get in it while it is upside down then so the opening is facing the ground and the people just keep jumping until the start to fly. Preferably get a little bit close to the edge of the map and that should do it. -Answer by:RoflKill

After saving the sentinals, follow johnson to find a f. structure luming over you. On the f. structure there will be some pillars ( out of range to walk by ). use a sticky greane jump to get on the platform and right infront should by the skull

There's a new expansion pack like thing for Halo 3 called Halo 3: ODST (Was changed from Halo 3: Recon to Halo 3: ODST) where if you do something in their you get recon armor.

To get the scout shoulders and body, kill a banshee with a missile pod or s. Laser (for the body). & get the mongoose meltdown achievement (for the shoulders)

to get it, go to voi in one of the campaign mode and when you have to sorta storm a hill there is a load of trip mines in the building at the top, try to kill all the covenant exept for the wraith but kill the gunner to make this easier, now start doin beat downs on the wing things at the side until the wraith is heavily damaged (quicker with a friend) then place two trip mineson top of eachother and lead the wraith over them and it should explode. that is the achievement -Answer by:Crazykid244

Well there isnt any way to stop them but some how when I replayed story I some how got around one or two of them but the problem is that they then pop up at the best and somtimes worst times. best because while those pop ups are on you are invunerable to all attacks you still lose ammo and grenades if you use them. -Answer by:curvy77

Ok. When you and Arby crash, go through what's like a tunnel. Once out, fight up the top of the tower you see upon exiting. When you get to the top, Sgt Johnson will fire at the Flood from a cliff area (He's actually shot and killed me before, lol) and once you killed a few waves of enemies they should stop coming. Johnson will come off the cliff and you will follow him inside. When he tries to activate the Halo ring, the orb thing (Can't remember his name) will hurt him. The orb will start attacking you (Avoid falling off) and soon Johnson will shoot the orb once with his spartan laser (I believe) then he will hand it to you and die and you will then continue to shoot the orb with the spartan laser. when the orb dies, you will fight back outside against the flood. when outside, turn to your right and see snow that makes a hill up to the cliff Sgt Johnson was at earlier. Climb up it, shoot the flood and follow the cliff until you come upon a door. Go through it and you will see the flying sentinal things shooting at the flood. I recommend shooting the sentinal things first. after you clear it out, you should encounter a lot of little bug things (cant remember the name) kill them and head out the door to Johnson's warthog. Drive it and follow the beacon that is on your map (And I believe on the screen if your looking in it's direction) Dont go to slow, or the platforms will fall from under you. when you get to the ship, accelerate and jump into the ship. A cutscene, and, yay!, you beat the game. (Beat it on legendary and sit through the credits to see a sweet surprise at the end)
Just follow the orbiter until you find Johnson with a spartan laser then all three of you will go inside and then the orb with the high pitched voice will down Johnson in the clip then you pick up the spartan laser and shoot the orb then you get the heck out of there then fight round till you get to a warthog then you and the orbiter get in the warthog and drive to a marine ship then there's a short movie then the credits then there you go you've completed the game.
A3, the little ball-like orb thing's name is 343 Guilty Spark !( or Oracle for short)

If you are talking about the skulls for the campaign then no you have to find them like the rest of us.
But if you were talking about in for example multiplayer or in forge without going onto oddball than no but you can connect your Xbox to your PC and change the game slightly so your can but whatever your want into the multiplayer maps.

You have to activate a bomb and blow the place sky high
First got to the the hanger and clear it of aliens then walk towards the barracks and save the marines (optional but easier if you have help) go to the control room where the bomb is at and rearm it then go back to hanger walk towards the right till you find a huge doorway and then go into the elevater and start it. To beat it on legendary all you have to do is at the part with many brutes and a brute chieftian avoid getting to close to the brutes and have a shotgun with you (in case they get to close shoot them with shotgun and melee them) and either a battle rifle or dueled SMG to kill them. 1.when you push a door into something it kinda sinks in to but if you grab the object its in, it kinda 'borrows' the sinking ability untill it stops touchin the door, many people use empty teleports to stabilise its direction

1st, place an object(or 2) then save it then exit out. Next reload the map, put the respawn time on 120secs-200some secs and set the 'start on map' setting to 'no' and start a new round. then the object you placed will be invisible so place another object that you want to merge wth the other and place it on the map,save it, exit out and reload the map -Answer by:spartan116

If you want to get better at sniping, go to sandtrap on forge and go to the high pillars at one of the ends of the map, then sporn some fussion coils at the other end of the map on the high pillars then snipe them from the pillars you were standing on, it really works!
Yea I did that to ok first of course start at the beginning of the lvl then before the blue wraith comes down kill the ghosts and then th aa wraith(remember you must be on AT LEAST normal diffuculty to get skulls) then head towards the buuilding now do not grenade jump but put a warthog infront and jump up to it and it should be there. why not greneade jump? 2 reasons 1 you lose a grenade 2 every time I used a grenade to get up there it disapperaed but when used the hog it stayed there. if you have anymore questions about any of the skulls ill be happy to answer them on xbox live in about o say 2-4weeks maybe less (gives me time to get stuff for xbox live) when you log in to it look for leonidas with hayubasa armor and a crossed double energy sword symbol. will answer to the name posted ofter you read this.

Yea did that to ok now first dont do it while the flood are on your side do after you become enemys with them then kill them all. now do the order again. before you reach the phrophet look at the rings you see them glowing that means it wont work. after you kill the prhophet and the flood do the sequence. if done right then the rings will light up and turn off over and over again . when it does this you go back to the bridge to the prhophet and laying right there is the skull.
