A1: there really aren't common rooms. You have been misinformed. they are portraits that just want information about them or they favor Hufflepuffs or Ravenclaws. You ask the portrait with the dog and he'll say something...I can't remember but the answer is rightin front of your nose. Have a nice time playing Hope you beat the game. :)

Q: During the task of helping other members of the DA to spoil Hogwarts, how do you help luna? How to get on the roof?

A1: To help Luna spoil hogwats by getting the swamp box off the roof you have to look for the 'X' on the ground there is a big one infront of the fountain that's where you put the swamp and then there's a smaller 'x' on the ground around the edge near one of pillars holding up the roof once you find it use wingardem levious to lift a bench on the 'x' then lift another bench on that bench and climb on them then it will let you climb on the poll then the roof, you'll have to fix the roof ron and them will help you do that. Then when you get to the 'x' on the roof, cast either depolso or acio to open the roof then cast wingardem levious on the portable swamp and drop it to ron and he will put it on the Big 'x' infront off the fountain and then all you gotta do is go down the same way you got up and cast either reducto or the fire spell on it and it will open, there! =D

A2: levitate a bench next to a wall with vines and you can climb up. then you use reparo on the hole in the roof. then use reducto on the turet with an X on the midle. the portable swamp will be in it. use Wingardium Leviosa and chuck it down*. Luna will catch it and put it in the middle of the courtyard. use reducto or incendio on it and it will explode, thus making the courtyard into a swamp. *= this makes it quicker than having to levitate it down yourself. -Answer by:craigcm

A1: The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Common Rooms are easy enough - just ask a student from the corresponding house and they'll tell you. Slytherin is a bit different as the students would rather shout insults at you rather than give you the password. You need to use the Invisibility Cloak, go down to the portrait and a cutscene will play showing two Slytherins saying the password. -Answer by:clarky241

A2: Dont listen to that guy. the hufflepuff, slytherin and ravenclaw common rooms do not exist. they are just portraits. with the slytherin portrait, firstly you go to it (talk to her) go back up to your common room and grab the invisibility cloak, go back down and 2 slytherin students should be there. =D

A1: You have to follow the owl and scare it. When it goes on the ledge you have to climb on it

A1: Just around the grounds.they are sort of white flowers. after that, go to herbology and walk up to the earmuffs and press X, then walk to the pot that has a screaming noise coming from it and press X as well -Answer by:craigcm

A2: Many of the plants you will find either by Hagrids house or on the path there. My problem is how to get the earmuffs to get the mandrake root? The earmuffs won't budge with any spell I know! Help!

A3: For the earmuffs you don't need a spell just go upto them and prees Square. simple

Q: How do you get the password for the riddle guy in the grand staircase?

A1: Now this WAS annoying. I can't remember the correct order exactly so you're going to have to try Trial and Error. Go to all the other portraits and speak to them. Sooner or later Harry will find one that teels you to go to another portrait. Go to this portrait and it will tell you to go to another.
