Digimon World: Dawn
It's easiest to put them in your party and train in Darkmoon City( thats what I do, but I go to Sunshine City sense I have Dusk)
If you play long enough (after you finish the game once, I mean) you can train your digimon at chaos brain, but make sure to have a strong first team and you can take 3 weakers in your second team to gain experience.
Or after you finish the gaia origin challenge quest, you can fight certain digimons:

Get PWHCheesmon white and degenerate it into puttimon it says you have to have puttimon but somehow you can do it really easily whithout having puttimon digivolve it into salamon and digivolve into gatomon.
If you start with teh balance pack on dawn you get salamon and digivolve it to gatomon
You can get Gatomon in three ways.
1) Highlight Heaven (Dawn only, Dusk gets Shadow Hell) unlocked by "Airdramon's Data" has Gatomon in it.
2) If you started with the Dawn Balance Pack (Angewoman, RiseGreymon, Coronamon), once they get degenerated, you can turn Salamon into a Gatomon once the requirements are met (LV18 and 70% friendship).
3) If you can get your hands on a Puttimon's data, you can work with the Kudamons from Task Canyon or the Japanese Pack and evolve them like so...

The best way o get gatomon is to choose the balance pack which has coronamon, risegreymon, and angewomemon. You can't digivolve it, it's a quest reward (sorta) from The Legend Tamer (after Gaia Origin, it's a series of trainer rank tests)
No NO NO THE LAST ONE IS lying.. you cant digivolve to calumon.. after you become a legend tamer, go to the bridge which leads to darkmoon city.. there you will find calumon.. talk to him once and he will give you his scan data talk to him again and for any more times he will show you credits of the game

You can't. It's a programming glitch that the creators forgot to remove. In Digimon World DS, they were used to give a Digimon temporary Mega status, but they're dud items now.

You need to find an Armour Digi-egg first, they can be found in various places around the digital world. Then, once you have an Armour Digi-Egg, go to your tamer home, and go on the digi-lab PC. Select Special digivolve, and select the digimon you want to armour digivolve, only certain digimon can armour digivolve, (Gatomon/Tailmon, Veemon, Patamon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon) if they've met the corect requirements, they should be able to armour digivolve.
It's somewhat like DNA and normal digivolving mixed, where you use the power of a Digi-Egg to create special forms (still waiting to get an egg for my Veemon). The basic idea is that Gatomon and all the non-Gotsumon/Monodramon rookies from Login Mountain (E.G. Armadillomon, Hawkmon, Patamon, Veemon) are the only ones to armor digivolve.

Have all your digimon on your digimon team be at least level 40 or higher and have a strong attack and defense the higher the level the easier it is also take into account what kind of creature it for instance marine devimon is a dark water type.
