I'm sure you can get it at Game-Stop, and online. Check Ebay, but make sure you're getting a good product, I've gotten ripped off by people selling me something because it stopped working.
Well, there is not a cheat that allows you to automatically beat a song, but I have a tip, get star power before the fast part (if you know what fast part I mean...) then when you start failing use star power and hit all the notes that you can. That's how I first beat it :)

The thing that plugs into your ps2 has a button, res and hold and while yo hold it, press the green button on your guitar, that connects the two together, it tell you on the instructions lol
We have taken ours back after beng told by several different retailers and Sony that the PS2 version only have a massive malfunction rate and its an error that they are trying to resolve. If its one of those cut your loses. Got it for the Wii much much better

When you put the cheat it will show in the screen something like (example): hyperspeed unlocked and then you press enter button to finish the cheat then it will the list of cheats that it says locked to all (if you don't have one). in that list you can see the cheats that you were introduced... if you unlock hyperspedd it will show something like: hyperspeed: lvl2. to put off the cheat just press the green button that say lvl 2 until it changes to off
In the page BEFORE you input the cheat, it will show a list of the cheat you've unlocked. To get rid of it, simply press the green button until it says, off. Hope this helps! -Answer by:Elemental782
Hmm well the notes that you put in for the cheat will not make sounds (the chords) so try rechecking on the cheat and doing it w/o making a mistake. If you are SURE you didn't do anything wrong, and it won't work, then the cheat may be wrong. Hope this helps! -Answer by:Elemental782
I just put in this cheat, its true you don't hear the cords, because its only play's up to 3 notes at a time.
But if you do it correct you hear people cheering at the end.

"LOL". Are you serrious, because I never heard anything like a cheat that can unlock everything before. There is a cheat that can unlock all songs. Try this GR, B, GR, GY, B, GY, RY, O, RY, GY, Y, GY, GR and this G, R, G, Y, G, B, G, O, G, B, G, Y, G, R, G, GR, RY, GR, YB, GR, BO, GR, YB, GR, RY, GR, GY. One of those two is unlock all songs, the other one is another cheat, I forgot what is that cheat is but trust me they both work.
I did the unlock everything cheat and it worked...on the ps2 i did it on a dualshock controller.

Ok, simple, maybe the saves got mess up by the "corrup data" in your merory card. If you have that "corrup data" than you need to buy a new memory card because that data can't not be deleted and it will mess up other game that you have.
In guitar hero III there is an option to put cheats through the options.
so you only need to enter optionscheatsenter cheats
there enter the code + Strum so it will show up in the cheats window and work perfectly
(Most of these answers don't even get to the question...) Besides that, yes, you have to strum in GH3 to input cheats, and no, you don't have to do it SUPER fast...
