The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night PS2 Q&A

Q: Okay, I got a bit stuck. I'm on the big Pirate ship, and I just talked to Moleyair. Spyro said that he'd help free the mole things. Then you go onto the side of the ship and jump on the falling platforms and avoid the cannons. After that, you go into the elevator thing onto a new floor. I beat all the bad guys up there, and now what? I can't figure out what Im supposed to do now. I think it has something to do with the furnace, but nothing I do helps. PLEASE HELP ME!

A1: Thats A fun stage heh. On your left just for the fun of it light the furnace with your fire breath. Not that it prollly does anything but its fun. Then after that defeat all the baddies. I Prefur Dark Electric whirlwind with dark spyro. Anyways take all the baddies out then detroy the crates. careful crate will fall from teh ceiling & flatten you. After you destroy all the crates take the mine carts & push them against the fire/steam out puts till the carts wont move any more. Once thats done the furnace exsplodes & the elevater is destroyed. Then you find your self back talking to Mole-Yair after he saves his kins-men then he leaves on a boat after talking to you. Then you have to go & do a few more thing then you go on a long level of pirates ships before you fight skabb for the first time. Then after another long level of even more pirate ships you fight skabb once more for the final time then a lil humor. And Then Its Off To The White Isle. -Answer by:Synate

A2: You push the little rolling things that are at the end of each flame til it reaches the spout. After closing off all the fire things the furnace will blow up.

Q: I am still in the temple! I cant get past the place where the 2 spiders you figt I got past that lol but I cant jump accross th e gap!2 reasons:1,its too far and 2,the 3rd spider keeps freezing me in the air.i am confused wat do I do?

A1: First on the right there is one of those branch things that go in after a few seconds. then on the left there is another one. It tolk me a long time to figer out too.

Q: How do I beat the second stage of Gaul, nothing I do has much effect on him.?

A1: After avoiding his attacks slow time down with dragon time & use dark breath very often. Avoid His whilwinds as the can knock you off the platform as well as avoid his laser eye & use dragon time & dark breath when you can as well as get close to him & push triangle, time it well & you can deal a great bit of damage to him with tringle dark attack buts its all about the timeing. Also keep your breath energy up & avoid damage cause theres no health on the final battle. -Answer by:Synate

Q: Does anyone know cheat codes for health and how to use them?

A1: Sadly there is no codes for The Eternal Night. The codes you input with the countroler on ps2 are useless ive tried them they dont work. So you have to play the game With Only your instints your wits your wisdom your knowlege & your powers plus your skill. Good Luck. -Answer by:Synate

Q: When your dark spyro after you beat gaul three times why cant you move?

A1: Thats when its time for the fatlity of gaul.. rather uncalled for but effective. dont stand there to long or gaul will finish you off & youll have to start over. as soon as teh thrir battle with gaul loads push r2 for dark furry. that takes him out. after that enjoy the ending videos. let the credist play all teh way through & youll see where spyro cynder & sparx are in stasi & you hear the chronocler giveing you a really faint hit to the thrird game. -Answer by:Synate

A1: Okay, I don't know a cheat, but I know something else that works. Jump in the air next to their heads, then do a melee attack. Once you press o 3 times (a melee) then press the triangle button on fire. That takes a lot of their health away, and shoots you away from them so that you can't get turned into a pancake. Q: How do you defeat those scorpions after arborick? I mean, they kill you after 4 punches!

A1: Get both of them to follow you and get on one of the small bridges, turn around and keep hitting the first one using the O buton and the other one will eventuall fall off but keep buting the one in front, then jump up when he collapses and head butt him

Q: I am stuck on the temple training level. I killed all the enimies and put two dragon heads on the orage lights, but I can't find the last one. where is it?

A1: Theres a trick. theres three dragon heads yes but theres one you cant use. after you use the two dragon heads you jump up onto the platform & youll see a glowly platform step on it the door opens activate dragon time then run through the door in dragon time & your in another part of the temple -Answer by:Synate

A1: Its Hard But You Have To Use The Ice Explodeing orbs & Make Platforms On The Water Its really Hard. Make a ice platform then another & anther till you make it to the dry land across the water. Then Id Try This. If You Have Dark Spyro Unlocked go to triale breat & then jump up immedianly hit triangle then push L3 to get to dark spyro. Seen around like a top hitting them. Then next platfor woth the other creature repeact the process. Yo7u have to beat them all to get the door to open. -Answer by:Synate

A1: Attack the robot/spiders thats really tiny by going into dragon time & timeing it right the perform tail strike X X Hold O to perform tail strike. If You Did It Correctly They Lil Spider things being swutches will just be there with out any legs. Not moveing meaning they are activated switches. time it carefuly its very difficult. Once teh switchs are activated go to teh lighted platfoms & get on them then you will be teleported to teh boss of each elemental stage. -Answer by:Synate

Q: How do I defeat the two scorpions in the arena?

A1: Use your dragon time and knock smash( o o o) them one at a time. Once you get it's health all the way down use your tail strike( x x o) and then wha la! It's dead. Just make sure you time your attacks right and run away after each use of your dragon time so that it can build back up.

Q: Okay, so I beat the game, beat the 5 dragon challenges, pressed l3 and got Dark Spyro, but can you use any other moves with Dark Spyro other than the pink looking one? Because everyone's always talking about Dark Electric Whirlwind and Dark Firestorm. Can somebody tell me if these are possible? And if they are, can someone tell me how to use them?
